All right guys, as requested, we have the v50 versus the OnePlus 9 here uh the v50 costs around 300 bucks, the OnePlus 9 729, snapdragon 855, six gigs of ram one plus nine snapdragon 888 eight gigs of round. Let's go ahead and get this boot up going three two one, and these are both actually 5g phones as well. Oh, the v50 actually got on the uh boot up, that's surprising! Now, let's talk about the speed of getting into your phone, so you have a physical versus the in display one uh, but the in display one is really fast. Only one plus nine um. If I try, let's see if I can do them, yeah they're about the same actually, so they both have faced unlock as well yeah, so they're about the same so very fast on both and they both have faced unlock. So I would pretty much say it was a draw uh with getting into your phone.
They both are really fast all right. Let's launch my applications and see what we get here. Subway surf OnePlus 9 we're in v50 right behind it. Let's try Instagram one plus nine. There temper run one plus nine again, so the speed difference is not massive, but there is a noticeable difference here, as we can see so anybody planning to upgrade um, I will say the the biggest difference here is the 120 hertz.
I don't think the speed is such a huge factor here as that 120 hertz, feeling uh when you're you know, when you're scrolling and stuff like that, you will notice that and just navigating through the OS. So let's go ahead and keep going here. Let's go open YouTube that was pretty much a tie there pretty much a tie there for YouTube. Google Earth tie, so it looks like if it's not a game. These are tie and speed, which is pretty nice.
So, if you're like, if you don't game a lot, you really won't notice a big speed difference here. They are both pretty much on par if it's not an actual video game, loading up, let's go ahead and try pub g here and your gaming performance should be essentially the same here we'll go ahead and check these settings, but both of these phones can still well. Obviously the nine can, but the v50 can still play games at the highest settings um. So if you check out the graphics on both, we can do ultra HD on the v50 ultra frame rates, and we can do ultra HD on the nine as well with the same uh settings. So both of these phones game the same so people think um, the snapdragon 855 and the GPU setup is still really powerful.
So your gaming experience won't necessarily be you know a big difference. Um again, the only real difference is that 90 hertz. If the game is compatible with it all right, let's open up two more applications, and then we'll check out ram management. Pok?mon Go one plus right behind it. Jetpack joyride that took a while.
Okay, all right, let's check out ram management, see if you get any closes here, we'll start off with Google Earth still open on both still open, still open, oh wow. What okay? So we got a restart on subway surfers still open on the uh, the v50 wow. I wasn't expecting that, so I don't know what's going on there with the ram management? There's no way the v50 should beat the uh, the nine here, um Instagram wow close another application, alright. So the v50 here is the clear winner. It closed the nine closed two applications.
The v50 has not closed anything so far, um so ram management is looking like it's a win on the v50. They probably need some type of software update for this 9. Let's check out the speaker quality on both max volume, starting with the nine, the nine definitely sounds louder and that's the one thing about the v50 is they went with such a small speaker, grill right here, uh for that secondary speaker, yeah they're close, but the nine is louder and has an overall just uh thumping sound to it all right guys. We can check out some camera samples now, so you can see what those look like side by side. Alright guys thanks for watching, and I will catch you guys in the next video.
