Is This TCL TAB The Best Tablet For The Money?

So, this is the tab, an ultra budget tablet from the folks over at TCL. Could it be all you need for a great price, let's find out when it comes to the world of tablets, apple's the first name, people mention or usually have. If you see one, there are a few other brands that make good options that are on android, Samsung, Lenovo Amazon, I'm kidding it's not Amazon. Well earlier this year, TCL got into the mobile game with their phone, and now they're releasing this tablet as an exclusive through Verizon. Taking a quick look around the device. You got a nice matte black finish here, which doesn't really show all that many fingerprints and I actually think it's a perfect size.

You can hold it with one hand now on the bottom. Furthermore, you do have the USB port microphone as well as a single speaker. Now this is a single speaker tablet, but it seems to work fine for watching things like YouTube videos on it. Now you could always use the 3.5 millimeter headphone jack on top here. If you want to get some good immersive audio, while watching videos or listening to music over here, you have the sim tray, as well as an expansion slot and on this side, you've got a volume rocker button, as well as a unique look and sleep.

Wake button is something else that it do we'll talk about that in a moment. This tablet is a full 8-inch screen with 16 by 9 ratio, which is perfect for any viewing experience. I had no issues watching movies or checking out anything on YouTube. As far as storage goes, it does come with 32 gigs, which is okay to start. But if you start downloading a lot of games and videos, you're not gonna, have a lot of room, but TCL does allow for expansion up to 256 gigs.

So you can put your pictures or your movies on there, leaving plenty of room for your apps. Now. It's also equipped with three gigs of memory, which seems a little like considering most android phones are pumping that up. But overall my experience has been pretty good by using the tablet, opening apps and playing games watching video and all that's been fine. I haven't really noticed any lag or stuttering compared to any other device.

I've used, but I'll be sure to share my experience with you in the full review so be sure to hit that subscribe button and turn on notification bell. So you don't miss it now. The battery is a good size at 5500 Williams and actually can reverse-charge. Another device with a cable which is actually a pretty cool feature now the specs do show up to 17 hours of mixed usage, but I'll definitely be sure to talk about that as well. In my full review, of course, included in the box, I can't forget to talk about the charging brick as well as USB-C to USB charging cable.

Now this tablet is capable of charging at 9 volts, allowing you to quickly charge this up. If you don't have a lot of time, so the processor in this isn't the newest, but it does look like a pretty good chip, so you should have a good experience for the budget device. If you like to play games, it should be more than capable to handle that now. I don't recommend taking pictures with this, as your phone probably has better specs, but of course you can, if you want the camera on, the back is eight megapixels and, of course, on the front, it is five making it good for any video chatting. Now when it comes to security.

This tablet actually includes some pretty advanced features. First being the fingerprint sensor, which is actually located on the power button, most phones don't even have this yet, and I have to say I am pretty impressed with how fast this actually is able to work. Now, there's also smart lock, which lets you unlock your device with several options. It's super easy on screen. Instructions will walk you through exactly what you want to use and how you want to use it now, something that is really cool with this tablet that most aren't capable of unless you end up paying more, it's 4g, LTE capable now you can activate this through your current phone plan on Verizon for about 10 bucks a month and use the tablet without having to worry about finding Wi-Fi, which actually is pretty nice, especially if you want to use this without the mobile hotspot.

So you don't kill your phone's battery now for a budget tablet. I'm actually very surprised. This is something they would include as many tablets don't offer it. I don't know about you guys, but when I purchase other tablets, I do often think about getting that 4g LTE version. But then I just say to myself: you know what I'll use my mobile hotspot.

If I need to then again the price isn't super steep to access each month and if you're, not using it, you can just turn it off. But of course, the extra cost on the initial purchase always turns me off at the end of the day, and I end up not getting it is this something that you would be looking for when you were going to buy a tablet? Let me know in the comment section down below in the meantime, while I am trying this out to do that full review for you guys, why don't you go ahead and click this button right here on the video that I did for the iPad and if it is worth it now, don't forget to hit that subscribe button. You guys have a great day, and I'll see you in the next video.
