Is the NEW Galaxy Tab S6 lite worth buying FOR STUDENTS?? Unboxing/Review By Zeeleo

Hey everyone welcome back to my channel. Today I bring you the tab, s6 line, unboxing, slash review and, in my opinion, this hands down is the best value tablet you can buy in this price range, so I'll go down quickly through the specs. This is a perfect tablet for students who are looking to buy a tablet that won't let them down, and you can also buy this for your children as well, as this comes with an s pen as well, so if they are creative or artistic, they can definitely draw on this no problem. So this comes with a 10.4-inch TFT display with a resolution of 1200 by 2000 pixels uh. The rear camera is 8 megapixels. Even, even though it's 8 megapixel, it's not that bad.

You can definitely go through your day taking pictures with this uh. This comes in two memory: sizes, 64 and 128. This is the 64 gigabyte version in chiffon, pink, there's, also a blue and black color available as well. So, as I was saying, 64 and 128 GB both of those come with four gigabytes of ram and the processor is the Enos 96 double one uh the battery inside this is a 7040 William hour battery and the front uh camera is a five megapixel camera so without any further ado, let's get inside the box. So let's look around, so we have to add tab.

S6 light on the side on the top there are some stickers, okay and on the other side, is the picture of an s pen which is included in the box. I think a direct competitor for this would be the iPad 6 gen as they are both similarly priced. But I think this is much better, as Apple doesn't include the pen inside the box, whereas Samsung does so, let's lift this up and put it to the side for now. So we get a standard charger, which is, I believe, 15 watts, yeah. Sorry, it's 5 watts, not 15 watts.

Okay. So let's put that aside uh. This is the USB type-c cable that you will get for using it for data transfer and charging the device as well. So this is the s pen color, matched to the color that you bought. In my case, it's the chiffon pink, so I've got the pink pen, and you get a sim ejection tool.

This is for your micro SD card, so you can expand the storage of this if you bought the 64 gigabyte version as well, and if you get a sim version as well. So this is the way that you will be able to put your sim or memory card in and in this we have your owner's guide, quick start guide, yeah your warranty card and in another language, in my case, it's Arabic. So let's just put this to the side, all right and let's take the pen out of its sleeve, so it is, it does have some weight to it. Okay, so it's not cheap filling, even though this tablet starts at around 1300 theorems, it's not cheap feeling at all. The build quality of the pen is plastic, but not that cheap kind of plastic all right.

So, let's take the tab from out of its packaging. Let's keep this to the side all right. So, let's peel it just like so, and so this is the 10.4-inch TFT display and the s-pen, so the s-pen uh, if you're wondering where does it go just basically magnetized over here? So this is the spot where you will put it. It will basically stick via magnets. These are actually real, very strong magnets, so there won't be a problem in losing this anytime soon.

So, let's start the tab. Okay, so this doesn't have a vibration motor, which I think that it might be a dealbreaker for some, because the tab s6, the more high-end version to this does indeed have a vibration motor. So if you buy the Lt sim model uh, if you're receiving a call, you'll only hear the sound, it won't actually vibrate. So this is the 10.4-inch TFT display. Some people might say that this display is uh more.

Let's say it doesn't have perfect viewing angles, but that's actually not true uh. The display is actually pretty cool, uh, pretty good, considering the price point that this came at and let's just go through the UI itself, so I'm just going to turn it on alright, let me turn down the brightness of it. Alright. So if you swipe down to the notification panel, you can see your Wi-Fi your sound, so you can either mute it or you can put the sound on alright and if you press sound over here, so the bottom, where the text is there, if you tap that it will open some more settings that you can then adjust all right. So we have Bluetooth, auto rotate flight mode power mode.

So if you are running out of battery, so you can turn on power mode power, saving mode so that you can save some battery. Yes scan, qr code. So if you have a qr code somewhere, you can just scan it through the back camera uh. You have a blue light, filter, location, smart view, do not disturb secure folder for anything you might want to keep confidential. You have a screen recorder, so you can record your screen.

Furthermore, you have quick share. So any device that comes with one UI 2.1 and above you can easily share files with them. So that means any Samsung device. You can easily share files between those devices. You have sync as well.

Furthermore, you have music share so the same as quick share, but instead for music, so you can basically send music easily. So we have Dolby Atmos. So the these do have stereo speakers, so one at the bottom, one at the top. All right. We have Samsung kids start mode.

I'm just going to turn that off right now and turn down the brightness as well. Okay, so we have Bixby routine. We have Bixby routine uh focus mode. So if you are taking this to school or work, you can turn on focus mode. So it will only turn on the things that are most important to you.

I'm going to turn back dark mode on as it looks better on camera. So it's basically your choice. If you want to turn it on or not uh, you have call-in text on other devices. So if you went with the Wi-Fi variant uh, and you have a phone, you can uh a Samsung phone. In particular, you can link both of the both of these devices and, if you, for example, if you receive a call on your mobile phone, you can then also receive a call on your tab as well, which is which, in my point is pretty cool.

You have daily board. So daily board is basically uh. It will show you information when you charge your tablet. So whenever you charge your tablet, a screen will pop up, and it will show pictures or whatever you find most important. So let's go to the build quality in my basically.

What I think of this build is its an all metal and glass build, so there's no compromise on the build quality, and I think that it is pretty good. So, even though it's not as premium as let's say the tab s4, which is an older model. So this is a successor. Obviously that had a metal side, so it had a metal side and a glass back and front. So I for some people they actually prefer a metal and glass build.

So that's totally fine. It doesn't feel compromised. So I don't think Samsung did compromise on the build quality and in my case this is a perfect tablet. The sound is also tuned by AKG and it so the chiffon pink. Isn't really that pink.

I mean it's sort of like a rose gold color. It's not that pink. Even the pen I mean uh. If you're buying this for a boy, they will definitely like it and uh. Let's go to settings as well, so we'll check out more settings in the tablet.

So you have connections sound notifications display. So let's go to display. So you have light or dark mode. It's the same setting as over here all right. So we have dark mode settings.

So you can turn this on as scheduled and apply to wallpaper. So if you have a wallpaper, and you turn on dark mode, it's basically going to turn the what's. It called the wallpaper dark. Okay, so you have font size and style screen zoom screen timeout, so you can choose whether, after how many seconds the screen times out, you have home screened navigation bar and screen saver, all right, so the same typical Samsung UI. All of these settings will be the same across with some minor differences, so you have wallpaper lock screen.

You can basically uh. What's it called uh change? Your screen law screen type log screen, lock type uh, whether you want pattern, there's also face unlock on this, so it will use the front camera over here to unlock, even though it's less secure than your traditional pattern or a fingerprint scanner, it's still better than nothing. So you have biometrics and security, privacy, location accounts and backup. Google advanced features. So this does have an s pen, so there will be some features for the s pen as well.

So this does have screen off memo air view. So if basically, if you have um, basically a reminder on an event on your calendar, you can hover over the screen just like, so you can see the little dot over there. So yeah this. That's! Basically, your pointer, so if you hover over a reminder or an event, it will basically show you more info about that reminder or the event, so you have show pointer. So it was the same thing that I showed you that little dot that hovers around you have shortcuts as well, so that is for your ear command.

So if you press the button while hovering it's going to open your air command, just like that, so you can edit, whatever you see over here as well. So if you basically wait, let me just go out of that, so you can edit your shortcuts over here. You have all of your shortcuts. These are the s-pen features that you can put on the air command all right, so you have show floating icon. That's the icon for the air command, open air command with pen button.

So it's the button over here while hovering you have sound so like when you're writing you can play basically it will be a pencil sound sort of, and you have tips for using your s pen. If this is your first time, so you can definitely try out the features. All right, so, let's go back, you have side keys, so you can activate Bixby or double press to do something else, and if you want to turn off the tablet, you have to hold your power button and your volume down button at first, or you can just swipe down from the top and press the power off button over here all right. So let's go back. You have daily board.

So that's the thing that I told you when you put your thing uh when you put your tab on charge, so you can uh either choose to show a slideshow time, weather or calendar memo or SmartThings. So basically, your devices that are connected currently, and the next is Bixby routines. So basically it will show your routine. So basically, in the morning, if you have a routine set that you wake up on this specific time, it will basically uh turn things on and off. Depending on what you choose in the settings to do, or before bad save battery at night going to work heading home, there are a lot of uh set uh routines that you can select all right.

So we have call in text on other devices. This is the thing that I told you. If you have another Samsung phone, you can turn this on, so that uh, if you, if you bought the Wi-Fi wearing that that is so you if you receive a phone call or a text message on your phone, it will pop up over here as well. You have multi window tray, so it's this sidebar over here. So if you swipe that it will show you a list of apps that you can then select over here, and it will open in split screen mode, and you can also open another app as well.

So, let's say messages all right, so it will basically show your messages, so I'll just do not know, and it will show your messages as well. You can also tap and hold so, for example, you can open other apps as well, not just the apps that I showed you or that were over there, so you can hold and drag them, whether you want it on an on the left or right hand, side or in a pop-up view instead. So let me just x out of this and this, so we have a screen: smart pop-up view. So if you have WhatsApp messages or whatever installed it will, whenever you get a notification, it will show you as a pop-up. It's a bit annoying, but it's your choice.

If you wanted to leave it on or not, we have screenshots and screen recorder direct share. That's the thing that I told you that you can easily share items between. Samsung phones, reduce animations motion and gestures, so you have double tap to wake. Smart stays swipe to call or send all right. So let's go out of that digital well-being and parental controls.

So if you're, our parent- and you want to watch what your kids are doing, you can definitely check it out through there. You have device care, apps, general management accessibility. So if you are visually or hearing impaired you can there are settings for you as well. Your software update about this tablet and developer options. That's optional! You can turn it on, or it's fine if you leave it off all right, so this does come pre-installed with uh android 10, one UI 2.1, and this will be updated to android, 11 and 12, maybe not sure uh. All in all, this is a great tablet.

The screen is perfect. It's not bad at all. You can also rotate it to landscape or portrait mode. It doesn't feel sluggish at all. Even though I've played many games on this, you might see I have a lot of games, but it doesn't feel sluggish at all and that's the main point that I liked about this tablet.

So all in all, this is a great tablet for students or children who are on a budget and not children, basically, students, uh and for parents who are looking to buy a tablet for their children. You could also buy the iPad sixth generation you could, but you will have to spend the extra money for the pen itself for the Apple Pencil, and this is another trick. If your uh tab is closed, you can tap on the screen while holding the button. So just like so, and it's going to open a basically a screen off memo, so you can write whatever you want. So if you have a groceries list, so you can write that so, for example, eggs yeah, so you can definitely write that and once you're done you can save, and it will be saved into Samsung notes, and you can also change the color uh right and erase as well.

So you can change the color right over there, so there's red, green, blue white and yellow alright. So I believe that just about wraps up the features of the tab, s6 slide.
