iPhone XS Max Unboxing Video

Everybody welcome back to tech on scene, so today, I'm here with a bit of a surprise, even for myself, I wasn't planning on going to get the new iPhone, but I stopped by, and I persuaded myself, along with the salesman and my wife, who was telling me just shut up and get the stupid thing. I don't hear about it anymore. So today I'm doing a boxing video of the iPhone 10s max, or this Max or the XS Max. Or what are you going to call it there's so many names floating around for it I, don't think that publicly any was really decided on what the Nifty name is going to be for this. But this is the 10s max. As you know, it comes in three colors they've got that new gold color, which they change it just a little.

It looked. Okay, I've had gold before I wanted to get the Space Gray. They were out. So I got the silver a little about the phone if you're not familiar with it or even if you are, I'm, gonna, go ahead and run down the specs just because one iPhone and Apple they're not terribly transparent with their specs, which is something that's important to me and probably to you all as well. So before I take this out of the box.

It's running the latest and greatest a12 Bionic processor, which is supposed to be light years ahead of anything else. It's supposed to be even more powerful by leaps than the snapdragon 845 I'll have to test that out as a 6.5-inch screen, which is the big selling point for this phone, because it's the largest iPhone ever same form factor as the iPhone 8 plus, but no bezel screen display really nice. Furthermore, it's got an OLED panel, 4 gigabytes of RAM that just got disclosed I think today, or yesterday it has a 3100 274 William battery. They say it's supposed to offer I think an extra hour and a half of battery life over the iPhone 10. So we'll see how that pans out.

I did have the iPhone 10 I wasn't overly impressed with the battery life, but we'll see how this goes. It's got ip68 dust and water protection on it, so up to 2 meters for 30 minutes, which is good. It does have the new band 71 for T-Mobile, which this is the first iPhone that does which is fantastic. In addition to that, the screen resolution is 12 42 by 26 88, an interesting in nineteen point, five by nine ratio, which I'm assuming has to do with the notch that gets in the way of having a standard resolution. Our ratio rather 458 pixels per inch.

If you're interested in that stuff, which I know I am this version still has 3d touch, so you're good. There has dual 12 megapixel cameras, one has the optical telephoto lens, so that's cool, and then it's got 4k video recording at 24, 30 and 60 frames per second, that does HDR and even the front selfie camera does 1080p at 60 frames per second, and it's 7 megapixels, which is kind of a weird number. We haven't seen that in a while. Let's take this out of the box now I do have to let you know. I did take this out of the box.

Well, I didn't have the lady. It distorted, I had to buy it at store, but I went ahead and kind of screen protector. I've put it on myself. If you're going to get a screen protector, I highly recommend unless you're just that worried about safety, or you're, not that worried about price, because I mean the phones already $1,099. This is a 64 gigabyte version.

It goes up to 14 49 if you want to 512. So if you have that kind of money go for it, if you don't have the entry of the introductory model is a thousand 99. This is an insignia screen. Protector I got from Best Buy even came with an installation tray which was the first I think for one it was $12.99, and if you want to get a 2-pack, it was 1999, and I'm very happy with it went right on I cleaned it like I, did the other way that I clean all my other screen protectors. So, if you're interested in that check out my screen protector, installation videos- and this is the iPhone 10s max like I- said- I got the silver version.

Of course, silver. The bezel is a really only thing silver on it. The rest of it looks it's got this white off-white color. It looks really nice with the glass paneling over the back of it. Of course, you've got your speaker's down the bottom.

You got your Lightning charging port I'd really hoped that they were going to move over USB, but Apple likes their proprietary stuff. There's the power button on. Basically it's just an on and off button for the screen. Now also you can hold it down for Siri. You have to hold that and the down button to restart and shut down the phone now, which is annoying.

They still have the little mute switch there. So you can turn that on and off and then here's the cool little camera on the back I read that the camera size on the bezel just a little larger than the one on the iPhone tin. So if you have a 10 s- and you want to use your 10 case- it may not work, I don't know, but if you try it, let me know in the comments: if it works, I don't think it will and of course this is brand new, so yeah I'm not going to have any old cases for it. They saw the Apple logo there and here's the documentation today. Now, if you were surprised about, what's going to be inside this box well, they have really changed that in like 6 years, so here are the earphones taxa and then, of course, we have our Lightning charging cable, which is probably like 1.8 feet. If we're lucky I really hate that they send the world's smallest charging cables with their phones.

But you pretty much know what you're getting into with Apple and their way of doing business is charge you for everything and then here's the tiny little power, brick and I. Don't even think its quick charge, I mean look at this. The lettering is so small I can't make it out 5 volts, 1 amp, so it's gonna. Take you, like eight million hours, to charge your phone with this, if you're interested and looking at some other chargers, I highly recommend it, because this will charge your phone like molasses, I, don't know why they're still, there charging you a thousand and ninety-nine dollars, entry introductory price for this phone, and they give you the world's tiniest power, brick that puts no power out. This is the same charger that they use for the iPhone 5.

It's ridiculous! So there's that and also there's no dongle in here. So not only did they take away your 3.5 millimeter headphone jack when they moved over to these newer phones in the last two years, but at the thousand $99 price range and above or the thousand dollar price range for the 10s, and they can't even give you a dongle. So there are some frustrations that I have here with this device, but there's more Apple than the actual phone. And, of course you know it does hefty price tag. But anyway, that's the unboxing video and some of my thoughts and commentary on the new iPhone 10s Macs.

And if you have any questions feel free to leave them down in the comment section, as always, I appreciate you guys, subscribing and tuning in and watching my videos and listening to me go on and on about the latest and greatest in tech products. So that is all I have for today and I will see you next time.
