iPhone XS Max Long Term Review 3 Years Later [2021] By CJ Unplugged

Ah, what's up YouTube today, we're going to be talking about the iPhone 10s max and 2021. Yes, you heard me right, I'm still using my iPhone 10s max and 2021. Now I previously just did a video on the iPhone 10 2021 about a month or so ago, and I was using the iPhone 10 as my business line. Well right after that video, I got a lot of comments of people who are still using their iPhone 10s and 10s max's in 2021. So I decided to take that sim card and put it inside the 10s max and give it a go in 2021. Now this is my first time on a big phone in a while on the Apple ecosystem, because currently I'm running the iPhone 12 mini, and I'm absolutely loving this size and form factor.

But I was also able to be reminded as to what I loved about the big phones and using the iPhone tennis mac. So my reason for even making a video like this is because we hear it over and over. You can use an iPhone for four to five years, and it'll be just fine. So, with this phone coming up on, I believe his third year since release date. How is it performing in 2021? How was my user experience? That's the number one thing: is your user experience still similar to day one? Let's look at the design of this.

You know the iPhone design. You can have an older iPhone and still fit in, because it doesn't change as much over the years, although you know if I'm using a tennis max to an iPhone 12 you're going to notice that I don't have the latest iPhone, but it doesn't matter because this iPhone was just this iPhone like a week ago. Furthermore, you know what I mean and with iPhones they still maintain their nice, build their design and their longevity. I've been using this without a case over this time as well in 2021, which is risky. So don't do what I do, but the design is still current.

You can still use a 10s or 10s max in 2021 and still feel a part of the way. This display is still beautiful and perfect face I'd still current, it's one of my favorite technologies in the iPhone because it makes it so easy to get into your smartphone in and out of it and with the new update you're able to get the same effect even while wearing a mask as long as you have Apple Watch, absolutely love that feature and speaking of updates, let's get into it. Let's just get straight into it. This thing is running the latest. Actually it's running even more than the latest, because this is my developer version of the iPhone.

Actually there might be a new update, see iOS 14.7 is available. Are you guys so real quick? I just wanted to show you obviously, in that video I was on 14.7, but right now, as you can see, I'm on iOS 15 about to download the beta 2. , I'm on beta 1, going to beta 2, and this thing has been running smooth, even with iOS 15. So I use this phone to run the betas, and it's able to do all the betas just as smooth as any other phone up into this point. That speaks a lot to the chip.

That's in here, you guys know come on man, we could say it over and over. You could believe it or not. Apple has the best performing chips in their smartphones. They age extremely well, because when they are released they are ahead of the competition, meaning they have years in room to develop and grow and continue to have updates and performance. Oh, we're talking performance.

Now the performance on this thing is as it was when I first got it so then CJ you talking all this good stuff. What are some drawbacks? The drawbacks are my new. When you have an older iPhone, the thing is, I don't have the latest camera. The cameras have uh taken a significant bump on iPhones in the last couple of years from the 11 to 12. So I can say that, but speaking of cameras, let's test this camera out, let's test the front facing camera, I'm going to snap, a photo really quick, flip that around let's get a little selfie action.

You know I mean boom. Now, let's get the rear camera, because the rear camera is the best camera you guys can see. Oh, what happened. Oh, we're not recording anymore. What happened? Okay.

Now, where was I before? I was really interrupted by my battery dying on my camera. I was taking photos okay, so let's test the front-facing camera on the iPhone 10s max and you guys can comment down below what you guys think now, let's test the rear camera, because the rear camera is always the better quality. So let's just give that a shot and a chance out here in 2021- and this is an ideal lighting condition, so you guys get to see it in ideal lighting condition. Now, let's test video. I've said it over and over in many of my videos that the iPhone and when it comes to the smartphone arena, has the best video camera.

So, let's just see what the iPhone x max video looks like in 2021 all right. What up you guys? This is the front-facing camera on the iPhone 10s max ideal lighting. You guys know you guys see. It actually looks pretty good from the viewfinder. I don't know what it's going to look like when I put it up on the screen.

You guys comment down below. Is it up or is it a no in 2021 all right? Let's check out the rear camera next, all right rear camera. Hopefully this is actually recording because I'm recording blind. I can't see myself, but you guys this is actually. I could see myself on a nice glass back with that creamy gold shout out to the 10s max for that.

But this is the rear facing video camera quality from the 10s max in 2021. Is it usable or is it a no? Let me know, let me see if that recorded all right it did boom. So I don't get the latest camera physically by using the 10s max, but I get a good camera. The camera is, in my opinion, well worth and still able to be used in 2021 and get ideal results, especially you know, with the iPhone being the best optimized Instagram upgrade. I mean uploading photos to IG from the iPhone still winning, even if you got the best camera on android.

Well, I you know, I'm gonna, be honest. Android has got that game a lot better lately so now performance in the sense of the speed, the smoothness, the uh, even with the ram management and app usability and so forth has been great. I use this for business, so I need it to like to come in when I need it like I needed to supply what I need out of it. So you know with it being a 10s max. I get a decent size battery, so I'm getting decent size battery life and if I need more, I still have the battery pack for this, but that thing is big and clunky and heavy.

I don't know what I was doing in the past when I used to carry that. I should actually have that on me. That's nuts, but performance wise as far as the abs they're, still the snappiest ever they're, still very responsive uh, I'm using it for banking and bookkeeping, and things like that. Everything is there. Everything is as smooth as day one and, as I said, I'm using this as my developer, uh smartphone.

So I'm running all the latest iOS's even before you have it on your new iPhone, and this thing is able to run them smooth without missing a beat. So this speaks a lot to the overall user experience, the overall Apple ecosystem and the reality as to why a lot of people fall in love with Apple iPhones. There's a lot of people still rocking this phone to this day and haven't had a necessity or a need or haven't been forced because, let's keep it real on android around this time, you're forced to upgrade because you lose your security updates and your software updates. After three years, that's kind of rough, that's kind of tough iPhone, I'm chilling! I can hold on to this phone for probably another two to three years and still receive software and security updates, that's a big plus in the Apple ecosystem and that's a big plus for the iPhone 10s max, and that's the reason why you can feel confident having an iPhone tennis max in 2021.
