iPhone XR vs iPhone XS Max | Camera Test By Irina Tech

Hey, what's up guys, my name is Erica and welcome to my channel, where I review everything tack. If you're someone like me, the camera quality is one of the most important aspects in any new smartphone. The 10r is finally here, and you would be right to wonder whether you're given up on the camera quality. If you decide to go for this year's least expensive new iPhone, so then the question becomes: can you get that same video and photo quality with the 10r, as you would get from this year's most expensive 5/1, the 10s max? So in this video we will do comprehensive service I'd comparison of the cameras on the iPhone 10 R and the iPhone tennis max. As you can see, there is only one camera on the back of the iPhone 10 R, which means that you will not be getting a dedicated telephoto lens, like you would on the tennis max no big deal. We say they're great, because you would also be pleasantly surprised to find that the hardware specs of both the front and the rear cameras on the 10 are match those of the tennis max when it comes to the selfie cameras, we get seven megapixels with an aperture of 2.2 and when it comes to the wide-angle cameras on the back of these two phones, we get 12 megapixels with an aperture of 1.8, but will the similar specs translate to similar looking photos? Let's begin with the portrait mode? First, yes, despite not having a dedicated telephoto lens, the 10 are still provides us with the portrait mode. However, it's important to mention that, if you're trying to take the portrait of the same subject on the 10r and the tennis max, you have to get a lot closer to subject when using the 10r simply put the tennis max relies on its telephoto lens when you switch to the portrait mode.

That's why the subject is already zoomed in by default, whereas the 10r only uses its wide-angle lens. When we look at the first two portraits side by side at a first glance, they appear identical to me, although I noticed that my face always came out slightly lighter on the tennis mats, no biggie, though the overall colors and contrast look the same to me. However, as you look closer, you could see that the telephoto lens on the tennis max there's a much more authentic, looking both, where the background behind me looks as if I took a shot with a professional portrait lens. While the background on the Jana is a regular wide-angle shot wouldn't apply to blur effect. You can see this if you look at the cars and trees behind me, where they appear stretched out on the 10r and neatly compressed on the tennis max as a result, while the software separates me from the backgrounds equally well on both phones, there is no way around it guys that telephoto lens on the tennis max will always produce more realistic.

Looking portrait shots, however, I know many people who never ever use the portrait mode on their iPhones, and in that case, let's jump straight to the standard camera mode comparison. My very first sabotage shots outside left me a little puzzled as you could see the forest from the 10r have this fade effect appearing from the upper left corner, where the solid was coming from. I noticed that right away and even check to make sure that the Turner lens was free of smudges, but as it continued shooting this kept happening in many of my shots. As you can see, the Halloween', which appears to have less contrast on the 10, are similar story with the trees and the sky in the next photos. However, even when we look at the side-by-side photo of this green master, which I took was steady in the shadow, the 10 are still gives us a more faded look, while the tennis max appears to have produced a more contrasting image, and yet it's hard for me to call this an unbreakable pattern since in the next side-by-side shots, these phone cameras have given me a virtually identical good-looking shots with no apparent faded.

Look and I also took a bunch of shots with vibrant colorful objects just to test how the colors and saturation would compare on these two cameras. You can judge them for yourself, of course, but I think that the results look almost identical, and now, let's see how these two phones take selfies. Here we have two side-by-side photos and, as you can see, they both have pretty good skin tones. Also, the overall colors look natural without looking over saturated or over sharpened. Now, let's see how these two phones take the portrait surface.

Yes, just like the tennis max. The ten are also has the portrait mode on a selfie camera, and if we compare the photos, they both look identical. However, I must put out that both ones have blurred out my hair, which makes the portraits look a little weird and now to make things even more fun. Let's take a look at the surface in very low light conditions, of course, as expected, these shots, the grainy and noisy, but overall I'd still call them usable. They pretty much looks similar bad I would say that saturation and contrast seems slightly higher on the tennis, mass and moving on to the videos.

And when it comes to stabilization, you can judge how these two fans performed for itself, but overall I once again called them equal and even the slow-motion videos. Look identical to me so no surprises to report there in the end, I was quite impressed by the camera on the 10r, especially considering the fact that this phone is 350 dollars less than the tennis max guys, I'm very interested to know what you think about the camera on the 10r.
