Welcome back everyone, we're gonna, be doing a quick. The action on a mannequin will fall in that comparison between the iPhone SE 2020 and the iPhone 7 now before I get too far into this video just know: I'm giving away an iPhone SE to the product red 1. If you guys want to answer, all you have to do is subscribe to the channel and follow me on Twitter and Instagram all those explaining down below and when it comes down to these two phones. Obviously, if you have all the money in the world, picking up the iPhone SE 2 is going to be the better choice. It is the better phone every single which way you look at it. It is a little more expensive than the ever used iPhone 7 now, but it brings so much value, and it's actually a very, very good phone.
At the end of the day now this phone is costing about 400. This is the iPhone SE 2020, and this is the iPhone 7, but a used iPhone 7 on Amazon is selling for about one hundred and forty-eight dollars about 150. At the end of the day- and that is, you know, okay less than a brand-new iPhone SE 20/20 now, these are probably going to go down their value at some point, but these are already 150 and these already have some value in them. So if you have an iPhone 7, maybe you should already keep it, but we'll talk about all that in a second, but only both these link down below. If you want to pick them up from Amazon for the cheapest prices that I find you can get them from there and help support the channel.
At the same time now, looking on the front, they both have almost the exact same panel and I say almost because there's a slight difference, but you have 4.7 inch panels red an IPS panel 750 by 1334, and one animal isn't necessarily better than the other one in terms of just like the resolution and everything. But there is a pretty big difference when it comes down to panels itself and the iPhone SE.2 does have the really cool feature of having true tone technology, which, if you guys don't know it pretty much just warms. The display at the end of the day, brings kind of like this kind of night shift kind of feature, but it's so much more than that, and I really do like that. You can probably tell just by looking at the side-by-side now I, don't know. What's going on with this pin I, don't know if it's like aftermarket I never replaced it, but maybe the iPhone SE twos panel is not much better, but you can kind of see.
Maybe there is a little of a difference. It's kind of hard to tell over the camera, but in real life I can tell there is quite a bit of difference seems like the viewing angle is better on the cell phone too. But maybe it's just me, but another funny thing is that the iPhone 7 just have forced touch, so you can go on like for such into things. This one has haptic feet which isn't quite the same. It's its pretty much out there, but definitely I'd rather have four such on it, but in terms of the pendulum styles, they look almost the same in terms of the bezels home button touch ID too, and everything, but definitely iPhone.
Se too has that advantage by having true talk technology but other than that they're almost exactly the same on the bottom. They have lightning ports, nothing else really down there on the side same exact buttons, but this one is more like a Alumina feel this one is a little different, and maybe it's like something else entirely to sure. Now, on the back, there's a pretty big difference, so we have an all-class back on the iPhone SE 2, where we have pretty much the same aluminum on the iPhone 7. This one doesn't feel bad, but definitely I, think the iPhone SE 2 definitely feels better single camera setups, but the iPhone SE 2 is better, and we'll get into that in a second. You do have wireless charging on the iPhone SE 2, which is really nice on the iPhone setting you don't have it now in term, is the way the width and everything they're almost the same I think there are exactly the same now that comes down to it.
So the same thickness, the same everything as you guys can probably see, and that's not a bad thing at all. You know that's a perfect thing: these phones are already super slim and I, don't want them getting any slimmer because then they have to like cut down the battery sizes and everything. So in terms, everything I could probably tell you probably the iPhone SE ? I'm, not even probably the iPhone SE ? is definitely better built phone when it comes down to it. The iPhone 7 isn't horrible, and they're both kind of designed the same, so it could kind of be like an optical illusion. I definitely do think at the end of the day, the iPhone SE 2 is the better built phone for sure, so they both have IP certification, which is nice, IP, 67 dust and water resistance.
So if you get a little of water on both, and you'll, pretty much still be okay for the most part, so in terms of the outside, that really pretty much covers it now hitting on this software. This is one of those things that's going to be super. It's probably going to be one of the biggest reasons why people are going to go and update now with the iPhone 7, this phone started off with iOS. Well, first, the SE 2 is just getting started. It's going to last forever a long time, but with the iPhone 7, this phone started off with iOS 10 with actually 10-point 0.1. It didn't start off with exactly 10, but we are able to get IOS 13 on it.
Most probably, we are saying that it's going to be getting iOS 14 and we's kind of hard to say now, but it might end on iOS 14. I really hope it doesn't, but this one will at least get one more version of software and then maybe one more x-ray or security updates, and then it's really pretty much done at the end of the day, which is kind of, but it really just depends on this success in SC get iOS 14. If those two phones get iOS 14, then maybe this one will go a little longer, but it's kind of hard to tell right now so definitely between one another. When it comes down to it, I hope the iPhone 7 can go longer, but we really don't know where's on the iPhone SE you guys and how this one is just getting started. This one has the same chipset as the iPhone 11 Pro and all those phones.
So with that being said, this one is going to be lasting as long as those phone is going to be out less than the iPhone 7 I will last the iPhone 8 last in the iPhone 10, and probably our last in the phone 10 or 10 s, which was pretty crazy to say so. We're going to be getting multiple. Multiple years of software support on this phone, and it's going to be a lasting, buy a lot of the iPhone 7 I know I didn't even sound like English there, but that's going to be one of the biggest reasons why people want to pick up this phone rather than keep this phone, and this is a perfect phone to jump to you, keep that and maintain that same design. But you also gain a couple features here and there, which is really cool. So in terms of software that pretty much covers it.
Everything on the performance I'll do a little speed test between them, but I'll do a full and dead speed test at some point, probably not in this video I. Don't want to make this video 40 minutes long, but the iPhone 7 has an appellate infusion chip, a quad-core CPU and the three different models with two gigs of RAM each with the iPhone SE.2 has an apple, a 13 Bionic chip, a hex core CPU and three different models with three guides of brand needs. So, let's go and see which one is the faster phone between both of these okay, let's go and hop out of these apps I was already like doing a speed test between both these at some point, let's go and load up the App Store three two one and look at that difference. Look how much faster it was on the iPhone SE 2, and this one includes I didn't even let me touch the screen for a second and even loading through you can see how much smoother it is only iPhone. Se 2 we're just definitely a lot choppier on the iPhone 7 sort of phone 3, 2 1.
Even that was faster Safari. You can go and load up, Apple, calm me to, or we'll do, Bank three two ones. This one was already on Apple and almost kind of hard to tell look like the iPhone 7, actually loaded on a faster, pretty much covers it up for that page. Now, let's go ahead and load up these third-party apps Twitter. Three, two one definitely faster on the iPhone SE ? that thing just flew by Facebook 32.
One definitely again look how much faster. What's there doodle jump three qu1 again, bastard not buy a lot for this specific app, but still substantially faster through ninja 3, 2 1, and look at that. We already loaded. That thing was still loading on the iPhone 7. That was a pretty big difference.
If you ask me, I'm actually curious about the gameplay, let's see how the gameplay is. It's probably going to be about the same stack three two one now I just look at when it loads up the ad and iPhone SE to be able to loaded that ad way faster than the Exxon seven snake versus blocks three two one and look at that. Look. How much faster was that's a pretty big difference. Netflix 3, 2 1 and you can see even an app like Netflix little faster on the iPhone SE to Temple Run, 2, 3, 2 1, and look at that look how much faster it is on the iPhone SE, ? I mean it's a pretty big difference, and we're already loaded on the SE -.
It's going to take a minute on the 7 and the 7 finally gets into it. I mean that was a pretty big difference. We can use Snapchat, 3, 2, 1 I, put our clip down here by accident and look at that. Even an app like Snapchat loads up so much faster on the SE ? and we'll go and end it off with real racing.3 3, 2, 1 and the se2 does seem to be a little faster than the iPhone 7, but maybe d7 was in a different spot in the game, and a lot of fasters, no se2 was definitely faster than the iPhone 7 iPhone 7 is still loading. It might take a little second or two for these seven to get through, and we're still loading for these seven and look at that.
Look. How much of a difference- and that's one thing I saw with that c2- is that it seems to be doing better with these 3d games. With these. You know to load into it, and we are finally into under 7. So these heavier intensive games.
It looks like the SU 2, that's better, so I can definitely tell you at the end of the day. These seven, you know, isn't a horrible performing phone, but definitely the SE 2 beats that by a long run, but, like I said I'll be doing it. Separates beat us at some point and also be doing a separate camera test at some point too, but I'll just briefly get on them. In this case, they both have single camera setups, like I stated. Actually they have 12 megapixel sensors, so they're both the same I thought they were different.
I thought this one was 10 for some reason, but yes, 7 megapixel sensors on both you can shoot 4k videos which is cool, but you can do for case 60 on the iPhone SE too. Another really cool thing: the iPhone SE 2 has portrait mode which is really, really awesome, and between these two for sure the iPhone SE 2 is going to be having a better experience. It'll give me the better job. At the end of the day, you're going to be getting a better camera setup. A better camera feature.
It's just a better camera and jam possible that Apple 813 Bionic chip, we're gonna, be getting all those cool machine learning aspects within that chipset or this specific camera, which is really nice. So definitely the iPhone SE 2 wins in the camera department. They both have 7 megapixel cameras on the front, though, to keep that in mind and they both can shoot 1080p at 30, but still I would probably side with the iPhone SE to at the end of the day, so in terms of camera and definitely the iPhone SE 2 now I'm ending it off with the battery life. The iPhone 7 has a 1960 mile an hour battery the iPhone SE 2 has a 1821 million power battery. So between both, you might think.
The iPhone 7 has the better battery life, but that's not quite the case. The iPhone SE ? I think not only has a better battery life, but the fact of the matter is that it also has wireless charging there's an extremely useful feature and that's technically the battery feature. So I will probably side with the iPhone SE -. Why are they? Charging is super important? So you know I feel like this is a good enough reason to pick up the iPhone SE 2 over the iPhone 7. Even if the battery life was a little worse, even though it's not having that wireless charging feature is super important for the pad.
We have the end of the day so to some video man. If you were to get either of these phones, if you currently have an iPhone, 7 I would say you know you can keep it for a little longer. Obviously I'm, not your boss, and I'm, telling you to whether you keep it or not, but if I had an iPhone 7 I would probably keep it for a little longer and so used prices of the iPhone. Let's see, ? were to go down, obviously on Amazon err in the used market. That would probably be my go to, but if you have money and if you're, okay with spending more money and if you're, sick and tired of your iPhone, 7 and iPhone SE ? was a tremendous phone to go to, but on the other hand and iPhone 10 in the news market.
I think is also a pretty good deal. It cost about the same as the iPhone SE ?, and that phone will give you a better build quality, better screen and different things like that. So I'll, let you guys be the judge, but definitely if you have an advanced evident I would recommend keeping it just for a little longer. You don't have to keep it for like 15 years form, but if you keep it for like a couple more months, these things were podded to go down to like 300, maybe even a little cheaper than that in the use market and so fully up to you. But that's my opinion.
That's pretty much it!
