iPhone SE 2020 vs iPhone 6 (2014) Speed Test By Saturnax

Hello guys, my name is Saturday and in this video we're going to be taking a look at the speed of the iPhone SE 2020 versus the iPhone 6 that came out in 2014. Let's get started so on my left. We got the iPhone SE 2020 with the a310 bionic chip and on my right. We do have the iPhone 6 with the a8 chip, so starting off with a video, let's see which one of the phones can block faster. Three two one, let's go as you can see. We got an Apple logo, first on the iPhone 6 over the iPhone SE, but we'll see which one of the phones will blow faster.

As you can see on my left, we got the iPhone SE ready to begin with the speed test. So let's just unlock it a couple of seconds later we do have 6s on my right. So now, let's just unlock the phone, and we'll just begin with the speed test. First, let me just clear all the apps that are just working in the background, all right guys, so both of the phones have the background, apps cleared and now let me just go to the settings and show you the battery how far above active devices the iPhone SE 2020 is new, so it has the 100 of the battery and the iPhone 6 has the 84 of the battery. Now, let's just move on into the uh software update so yeah.

So, as you can see, iPhone s is running on the latest. Io's 13.0.1 and the iPhone 6 is running. The is 12.4.8 all right guys. So once we do know this, let's just go to the bench of the apps and just see which one of the phone uh can block the apps faster. First, let's just start with the calendar.

Three two one, as you can see, iPhone c is faster. Let's just try out the photos. Three two one yeah the photos, app open faster than the acne. Now, let's just try out the camera three two ones. I missed that three, two one, let's go with camera again and like, and it's just like two seconds faster on the iPhone SE over the iPhone six.

Now, let's just go to the clock: uh yeah, it's faster like two seconds faster on the iPhone see. Now, let's try it out maps yeah, it's you know like five seconds faster than the iPhone SE versus the iPhone 6. Let's try it out later three two one yeah again like couple of seconds faster on the iPhone SE versus the iPhone 6. Let's just try it out app store, it's almost instant on the iPhone SE. The iPhone 6 also holds that pretty good like for the six-year-old phone.

Now, let's go to the phone three two one yeah, it's almost instant on the FNC SE is definitely winner in the apps. Now, let's go to the safari and see which one of the websites are just loading faster, all right guys. So all the apps are already um closed. As you can see now, let's just go to the Apple website and see which one of the founders just loading the websites faster. So three two one, and it looks like the iPhone SE- has a little of the advantage over the iPhone 6 with loading the pages.

Now, let's move on into some other pages, such as the Google three to one yeah, it's almost instant on the iPhone SE, then on the iPhone uh six, so the iPhone SE has a giant performance advantage over the iPhone 6, as you can see in daily uh used apps. Now let me just try out the third-party apps, such as the Instagram, snap chats, Amazon and some other ones. So, let's begin with the Instagram three two one and as you can see, it's almost instant on the iPhone SE again uh yeah, so that's it uh. You can just follow me on the Instagram. My nickname has been max as well yeah. So that's it now. Let's just try it out. Snapchat three, two one yeah so iPhone is a winner in the app now, let's just try it out Amazon yeah. Definitely iPhone's e is the winner.

It takes so long for the iPhone 6 to load the app alright. We got it still loading, let's open the under the benchmark. Now three two one: we got some ads on the iPhone all right, so um the an tutu is about the same, but I think like it was a little faster on the iPhone SE, because there was a knot. Let's just do the test of the iPhone 6 and see how much of the performance it has alright guys, so we're. Finally, after a test of the iPhone uh six and as you can see, we got a score of 55 754 points on the iPhone 6, which is like almost nine times lower than on the iPhone SE 2020 um yeah.

So pretty interesting thing here, um almost nine times faster. You know the iPhone st is almost nine times faster. You can just imagine if it's crazy. Now. Let me just go to the YouTube and see which one of the phone can open the YouTube faster.

So let's go three two one, and we're still loading all right. So we do have the YouTube DOM and YouTube open, open, faster on the iPhone um SE than on the iPhone 6. As you can see yeah, so that's it now. Let me just try it out. Some games, such as the subway surfers and PUBG mobile.

So first, let's go to the subways, reverse and see which one of the phone can load the game faster. So three, two one, let's go yeah, so it looks like the iPhone. Se is again the winner here and the game is still loading on the iPhone 6. As you can see in the gaming, the newer iPhone has the giant advantage over the older iPhones is just the loading on the iPhone 6. Yeah, but the game is working um, pretty good.

It's pretty similar to the two to what we do have on the iPhone SE. We can experience some more of the lags here, but uh overall uh. It's still the game, looks still pretty good on the iPhone 6. Yeah. So now let me just get out from this and let's try it out PUBG three, two one and let's see which one on the phone will just um blow up the game faster: the PUBG loaded faster on the iPhone see than on the iPhone 6 yeah.

But it's just obvious that it will take a place now, let's see which one of the phones can uh enter the match faster. So let's just go three two ones. I missed that on the iPhone SE, but as you can see, even if I missed the efficiency is faster, so it's definitely uh. The FMS is just definitely the winner here, yeah we're currently in the game. The game is really smooth.

It's just working the ultra HD. You won't experience any luck for sure on the iPhone SE. It's just the perfect fun for the gaming like this. Now, let's just move on into the uh old iPhone 6. We can experience more of the lags going on here, but um.

Actually, it's not that it's absolutely playable! You can just play in a smooth, 25, 30, fps and um yeah. The game still looks and works pretty well on the um six euros, iPhone yeah. So let's just go back to the home screen, and now we'll just take a look at the ram management on the both of the phones so uh. Let's try the apps that are just working in the background. Let's just go to the uh first app that we opened in our com in our today's comparison and see uh.

If there's any reload so yeah, I think, like there wasn't a reload for on the iPhone as e2. So let's just move on into some other apps, there's no reload on the iPhone SE, there's no real on the iPhone 6. Um. Let's just go, for example, to the maps um three two one, there's no reload on both of the phones, I think uh. Now let me just go to Instagram three two one: there's to reload on the iPhone 6, but not on the iPhone SE, so um yeah, the two additional gigabytes from do the work on the iPhone SE.

Now, let's try it out Amazon, there's to reload on the iPhone 6, not on the iPhone SE. Let's try it out app store and there's no reload on both of the phones. So, as you can see one gigabyte of ram on the f6 and still works pretty good. I love the optimization on the older iPhones is just amazing. Now, let's go to the PUBG and see if the game can reload.

So, as you can see, we don't have any reload but uh. I was just falling off the sky, and now I'm just on the ground. Alright, so yeah, there's no reload on both of the phones. The game looks and works pretty smooth, alright guys, so that's it for today's video. I hope you enjoyed it.
