Hey guys tyke here- and this is the iPhone, a plus now with the new iPhone there's been some pretty big internal upgrades like a new piece of a CPU, the level Bionic wireless charging and, of course, new improvements in the camera. We're going to be focused on the cameras today, printing up against the predecessor, the iPhone 7 plus well without further ado, let's get started before we get started. Let's talk about the camera specs now for the most part on the spec sheets. They look almost identical both how the dual 12 megapixel camera, one with the standard, 28 millimeter focal range, F, 1.8 and the other one being a two time. Optical zoom lens at fifty-six millimeters at F 2.8 both have oh, is on the 28 millimeter, but no R is on a 56 million I believe that's only in the iPhone 10. Now the key differences is a new portrait lighting mode on the new iPhone and the video capabilities is outstanding.
The portrait lighting mode is pretty unique, and it basically creates different lighting scenarios that effects your face. There's naturalized, studio, contour stage and stage many. The new iPhones can record 4k at 60fps and 1080p at 240fps. Now, that's incredible, seeing how not a lot of DSLR can even do that. So far, portrait lighting seems very promising, although it's not perfect by any means this stage.
Lighting is very hard to pull off, but I'm sure Apple will keep improving I'll talk more in depth about it in my full review, so stay tuned anyways now that we got over the specs now, let's compare it to the iPhone 7 plus overall, after looking through these pictures, I see good improvement in some pictures. The dynamic range is much improved, and I do prefer the new warmer colors, the iPhone 8 plus, produces this sharpness I, really don't see any major differences portion mode on both are about the same as well, except with a plus. Of course, you get portrait lighting. Well, that's basically it guys, and what do you guys think make sure to comment down below anyways if you like, this video make sure to thumbs up and subscribe for more similar content like this thanks for watching guys, and I'll catch? You guys in the next video.
