This video is brought to you by iPhone in Canada today's the day, September 16th 2016 Apple, releasing its new iPhone, 7 and iPhone 7 plus and has become normal here on this channel. I have a video for you, I'm going to do a quick unboxing here. I have the new iPhone 7 plus this one is going to be the matte black and, as you can see right here, I decided to go with the 128 gigabyte version. Furthermore, I have the 128 with the 6s plus and I haven't filled up the storage on that, so I figured. You know what I don't need to bump up to the 258 one.

You know I always usually buy the highest end one, but if I'm not going to fill that space, then for me, don't really need to spend that extra money. So here we go things a little different with this phone first thing off the bat is you've got this little pull tab right here makes it really easy to open these up. No longer do I need that knife. Alright, let's open this up now. I should point out: I pre-ordered this for pickup in store.

That's why I have this so soon. It's a perfect option. If you do have an Apple Store near you, the one thing I did find out when I was pre-ordering. It was I, usually pick up my phone here in Edmonton at the South Gate mall, the South Gate Apple Store they didn't have any of the 128 7 pluses available. So I have to go all the way west Edmonton Mall to pick it up now, as I was standing in line talking with the Apple employees they're, apparently here in Edmonton the stores between the two stores, they only got three.

That's right: 3i, Phone, 7 pluses in this matte black version. Now you may be wondering why I decided to go with the matte black, not the jet black. Well, you know I always put a case on it. So as fancy as the jet black one looks really didn't matter to me, so I decided to stick with the matte black one, simple fact: you know Apple says you could get a couple of scratches on the jet one, even within the case, I think you could be prone to a few little scratches, so I just decided to go with the matte black I like it, but I'm really excited the dual camera right there. But enough about that.

Let's take a look. What's inside, you got your design by Apple in California, you got your goodies' information about the phone and, of course, you've got some beautiful, looking Apple stickers right there, but let's move on to the phone itself. Here we go taking a look at it wow. This is the first time I've had a black phone in a really long time. Last few ones I've what gone the gold, the silver usually go with the white kind of one.

So for me this is brand new, a black phone again but wow. This looks amazing. I love this matte black. Look to it. You got all your normal buttons there on the side.

Of course. The big feature for me is this: dual: a lens camera really excited about that I use my phone for pictures and videos all the time of my kids and my family. So for me, it really was a no-brainer to upgrade to the six or seven plus I should say because again it's got that dual lens camera. We excited to put that to the test. So let's just put the phone right there.

Of course, you've got your charger, and you got what looked like the normal ear pods. But of course, this time they are going to be connected to the Lightning port, no more headphone jack. Now, if you do have regular headphones, of course, they do provide you with the connector lightening it to your 35 millimeter jack there for regular headphones. So there we go the near ear, pods and, of course, we've got our charging cable, nothing exciting right there, but yes, the iPhone 7, plus the matte black version, I! Really like it. You know it's not all that muted.

It still looks really, really nice in the all black excited to try that out now, while I was there, of course, as I said, I do like to use the cases, so I grabbed the ocean blue silicone case I had a leather case on my last phone I. Just don't like the way it weathered I like to have a more colorful case and I just don't find that they weather all that nice. Now, if I was going with the brown or the black, when it probably weathers a lot better, the leather one, this time I decided to go with the ocean blue silicone case and, of course, the screen shield I love these tempered glass ones. So we're going to try the Welkin, Enlist glass ultra, so stay tuned for a video for that for the installation of that, and will of course, also take a look at this silicone case for the iPhone 7 plus. So there we go very quick.

Unboxing I will point out that when I was there at West, Edmonton Mall, the launch was very subdued. That's because of the limited quantities that Apple has at the store. Nowadays, everybody's just pre-ordering online and getting it delivered, and so it's becoming less and less of an event at Apple stores for these launches still a few people there. But you know just not that overall, huge hype excitement still very excited to pick this up, I still like going to the store and picking it up in person, rather than waiting for it to be delivered because on my route here, where I live I'm, usually the last person that gets delivered in the day. So you know if I want it early like I, do right now, then I have to go to the store and pick it up, but there we go quick.
