What's up YouTube Sapphire on super soft TV and in this video I'm going to be doing a speed test between the iPhone 6 under the Samsung Galaxy s5. So yesterday, I did a benchmark test for key quench 3 on the Samsung Galaxy s5, the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 plus a lot of you are requesting a more detailed speed test. If you want to see the benchmark scores, then I definitely recommend you go ahead and check out that video, but here they are, as you can see, they were very, very similar in terms of the multi-core scores, so we're going to start off with a boot test on both of these, so we'll power both of these up at the same time, I will speed this process up, so we don't have to sit through the boot animations and, as you can see, the Samsung Galaxy s5 does finish. First at roughly about 18 seconds. The iPhone 6 comes in slightly later at roughly about 23 seconds. Now, let's do a quick browser test, so we're going to be using the default browsers on both devices just to keep this test as fair as possible.
We're going to be loading up the verge, which is quite a heavy website, so starting both up. At the same time, we start seeing the content fast on the iPhone 6. It also finishes loading first on the iPhone 6, the Samsung Galaxy s5, coming in a little later now jumping into an article clicking them both at the same time, looking at the bar at the top, we can see that the Samsung Galaxy s5 does finish loading the article up first, in this occasion on the iPhone 6 coming in a little later. Now, let's try out a popular app. My favorite app one of my favorite apps is Instagram, so opening them up both at the same time, it does finish loading a slightly quicker on the Samsung Galaxy s5.
Now once we're inside the app going from images- and things is absolutely neck-and-neck- there's really nothing between these two. Now, let's try a game so Temple, Run 2 is a game that's available on both devices, so opening them both up at the same time finishes loading quite a bit quicker on the iPhone 6. So we've already reached the menu screen. While it's still loading on the Samsung Galaxy s5 now, finally, let's just try YouTube is obviously an app I use a lot, so let's open YouTube up at the same time on both devices, and they pretty much load it up neck and Tech. Now what we'll do is we'll load up a recent video one of my recent videos, so we'll go onto my channel here on, let's load up a video and see which one loads it up first so clicking both at the same time, you can see that it starts playing first on the iPhone 6 ever so slightly quicker.
So there we have it a more detailed speed test between the iPhone 6 and the Samsung Galaxy s5 I think, overall, they are pretty similar. Some the iPhone 6 was quicker out and some of these Samsung Galaxy s5 was a little quicker app. So I do think if it comes down to speed. Both of these are very, very good. Some of the fastest devices out there, and I don't think you're going to have any problems whatsoever when it comes to speed with both of these devices.
