iPhone 12 Vs Samsung Galaxy S20 Full Battery Comparison! By LoFi Alpaca
Welcome back everyone, I went ahead and did another battery comparison between the Samsung Galaxy s20 and the newly released iPhone 12, and what I found was pretty expected. I'm not going to lie now how this battery comparison works is pretty much. I charge both phones up to 100 percent and I close out of all the apps in the background, and I pretty much just use all the phones that I test. Furthermore, I test a batch of phones at one time, so I can make a ton of these videos and get a good idea of how the iPhone 12 kind of stacks up, and I just wait and see until one of them dies now. This is not an end-all bl test. This is not like the best test in the world, but it, like, I said, is just to kind of give us an idea of which one will be better so, like I said I charged them up fully 100 and an hour into the test.
I basically just let the screen on time. Just you know, I didn't do anything on them for that hour, just didn't let the screen style out, and I saw that the iPhone 12 was at 91 and the Samsung Galaxy s20 was also at 91. So that was pretty expected. You know I was, I didn't know which one would be better because I didn't have the 120 hertz refresh rate on that galaxy s20, even though I didn't really use it. For that hour they still went down the same exact time, which is kind of surprising.
So I eventually let them kind of go on a little further and then at that 2 hour and 58 minute mark I checked in again, and I saw that the iPhone 12 was at 62 percent and the Samsung Galaxy s20 was at 69 percent and, like I said before, I was watching all the phones at the whole entire time and if a screen started to time out with the galaxy s20, I just kind of tapped it back and still it was at 69, which was your knowing, seven percent more than what the iPhone 12 was at. So that was something that was very surprising and then ultimately, at that six hour and 15 minute mark, I saw that my iPhone 12 was at 12 and my galaxy s20 was at 25. So the reason for that huge gap was because I was just so bored, and I was getting ready to go to sleep, and I was like I'm just going to end it here, there's no point in continuing on so pretty much. The Samsung Galaxy s20 has a little better battery life than the iPhone 12. Now this was kind of suspected for me because of the bigger size battery that the galaxy s20 has.
I mean the iPhone 12 is like a 28 85 million power battery the Samsung Galaxy s20 has, I think, a 4 000 million bar battery, which is massive. Now they both have wireless charging. You do have reverse wireless charging of the galaxy s20 and in this specific case I would tell you that I think the galaxy s20 actually has the better battery life here now I don't know what it is with the iPhones this season, because iOS 14 has taken a huge toll on battery life. In my opinion, it's still at least a marginal one. In my opinion, and even with that little of a test, I can definitely tell you that, in my opinion, the Samsung Galaxy s20 will probably end up giving you better battery life than the iPhone 12 in my opinion, so that really pretty much covers it up for the most part, if you guys have any other questions or anything, let me know in the comment section below hit the like button help me so much, but definitely hit that subscribe button.
