Welcome back everyone, I went ahead and did a battery comparison between the iPhone 12 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy s20, and I figured I might as well drop it on this channel on my second one, but pretty much. What I did was I put both phones on maximum brightness and I just let them die out. I did a lot of things. I played games, videos but whatever I did on one phone I did on the other exactly the same for probably like seconds away from each other, and what I can tell you is that my results were pretty fascinating for the most part, but it was kind of expected as well. So I let them sit out. I closed out all the apps in the background and same brightness everything, and it's 59 minutes into the comparison.
I saw that the iPhone 12 Pro was at 92 percent and the galaxy s20 was at 92 as well, and it was very interesting because I thought the 11 pro was, or the 12 pro was going to die a lot sooner, because the galaxy s20 has a much bigger battery. So that was actually very interesting to me and I actually thought the 12 pro may have beat the galaxy s20 now, eventually a couple of hours later. I know I should have checked in earlier two hours and 58 minutes in I saw that the iPhone 12 Pro was at 58. The galaxy s20 was at 70, so right there I was starting to see a pretty big difference already a 22 difference between both phones, so that was honestly, very surprising and eventually many hours later. In the six hour and 50 minute mark, I saw that the iPhone 12 Pro was at three percent and the galaxy s20 was at 25.
Now it was way too late, and I was just way too tired. So I didn't want to stay out earlier than that or later, and what I pretty much saw was, at the end of the day, the galaxy s20 will get you better battery life than the iPhone 12 Pro now. What's very interesting is that I set the galaxy s20 on that 120 hertz refresh rate. So just imagine if that 120 hertz refresh rate was not on the galaxy s20. It would have been way better than the 12 pro the 12 pro was said to have that 120 hertz refresh rate it did not bring it.
Unfortunately, it's weird because the iPads have it a ton of other devices. This you have it too, but they didn't bring it to this one. So that was very, very interesting to me. So, at the end of the day, even with the 120 refresh rate on similar usage, the iPhone 12 Pro will still not be as good as the galaxy s20s battery life. I will tell you, though I have been using the iPhone 12 Pro as my main phone for the last couple of weeks now, and it's been a pretty good experience.
It hasn't been dying for me at the end of the day, but I've been using the galaxy s20 for many months now, and I can definitely tell you it's a very good phone. I've been using it as a main phone, but I use it almost just as much. I make a ton of videos with it and talk about it all the time on this channel and my main one. So I can definitely tell you when it comes down to the battery life, the galaxy s20 will get you better battery life than the iPhone 12 Pro, even with the 120 hertz refresh rate, which is really insane so that really pretty much covers it up for the most part, if you guys have any other questions or anything, let me know in the comment section below hit the like button, tell me so much, but definitely hit that subscribe button, every single subscriber that we get really discount.
