IPHONE 12 PRO UNBOXING *its here!!!* By Catherine June

Hi guys welcome to. I should wait. Hi guys welcome to today's video today we're going to be today we're going to be unboxing the iPhone 12, but first I need to go pick it up. I've got about an hour drive to go hop in line to go pick it up. I did order it online this morning I ordered one when the pre-order came out and that one isn't even supposed to be delivered until like mid-November, so I figure instead of waiting another two weeks to even get the new iPhone and do an unboxing for you guys. Let me see if I can order it and pick it up today.

The only place that I could pick it up is an hour away, but the dedication we have for this unboxing to go up for you guys today, incredible so, lets uh. Let's start this journey to go, get the iPhone, so we can unbox it for you. I know a lot of you guys also wanted to see the iPhone unboxing on my lifestyle channel, so figured we're going to post it over here, but a majority of my tech content will be over on my tech channel.

So I drove an hour down here. We got them now. I can head home and uh we'll do the unboxing for you guys. I really want to test out the camera and everything I'm so stoked, I'm so happy they. Let me just like pick it up.

I was so surprised that there wasn't more people in line there was like nobody there. The mall only opened 30 minutes ago, but I assumed that there was going to be a lot more people, I'm so freaking excited I'll. Do a camera comparison for my current iPhone 11 Pro max and the 12 pro all right guys. I don't want to waste any more time, let's just hop straight into this, so the iPhone that I picked up. This is the iPhone 12 in the graphite color, and this one we've got 256 gigabytes of storage.

In this thing, pretty much the same amount of storage that I already have. You can probably hear Bentley outside the door uh the same amount of storage and everything that I got on my 11 pro max. I know I told a lot of people over on Instagram and I think here on YouTube that I was going to wait for the 12 pro max, but to be honest, the specs between the 12 pro and the 12 pro max weren't, a big enough difference for me personally to feel like I needed to wait for the bigger phone waited a little decided that I was just going to go with the iPhone 12 Pro. Instead, so here we have it, as you guys can see it's a very, very tiny box that we've got here. The box actually doesn't come with the brick anymore.

I know there was a lot of controversy over that apple said. It was for the environment, but, as you guys know, the regular charging bricks are the USB. This is the USB. So if you do not already have one of these from the iPhone 11, you guys are gonna need to purchase one of these. So I have one of these from the iPhone 11 that I purchased last year.

Bentley actually chewed up the cord, so that was a bummer. I didn't actually get to use the fast charging feature that this had for the entire time. I also picked up the new mag safe charger. This is pretty interesting to me. I'm excited to test this out.

I've already watched a ton of other videos of everyone else, unboxing theirs and testing that out. So I'm very excited about this piece as well. Let's go ahead peel this off. Oh, such a beautiful, sound, so excited I am so excited. I have the iPhone 11 in the midnight green, so it's going to be nice to have the black phone again.

I oh she's, pretty she is pretty. Oh, my goodness. Oh, look at that beauty. Look at that beauty! Oh! So pretty all right! Nothing covering the back! Let's go ahead and peel this off too, oh, so satisfying, honestly, so freaking satisfying. So we have our iPhone 12 Pro.

I want to compare these sizes really quick, because I feel like there's not that much of a difference like I don't feel like I'm going to be missing my pro max size that much, if I'm being honest, we've got the difference between the two really isn't that much side by side, it's just a little bigger all together, all right! Oh, it just feels so sleek on the sides. Oh, my goodness! I really like the feel of this, like just holding it in my hand. I can feel that it's going to be so much easier to hold than this one. It just feels that much sturdier that makes any sense at all it. Just it's just more comfortable, more ergonomic is that the word we've also got this little piece in here.

This just has we've just got sim card remover in here and some information and, of course, one single apple sticker. I feel like it would have been cool if it was a gray one to match the phone uh, because I know this bass gray laptop that I got my MacBook Pro actually came with a space gray apple sticker. So I don't know, honestly. I never really use the apple stickers or put them on anything. So not a huge deal to me, and then we've got the charging piece that you were going to need you guys I should have had more coffee before this.

I just drove two hours round trip to go: get this phone to show this to you guys all right so tiny box. That is everything that's in the box. Let's go ahead and unwrap this. I need to turn this baby on and there we have it what a beauty I'm so excited for this, so I ordered, I think I told you guys this. I ordered the iPhone 12 when the pre-order came out.

Furthermore, I ordered it maybe the second day that the pre-order had started, and my ship date was not until November 6th, I think, was the estimated ship date, and I'm like honestly, am I really going to want to wait that long? I didn't know that the Apple stores were actually open. At least the ones near me were not open, which is why I had to drive when I saw that I could pick one up today, I'm like all right: let's do it, I'm just going to cancel the other order before it even ships. Now we have our new iPhone all right. Let's go ahead and set this up, I'm going to go through all the usual things that it asks. Quick start.

Can we do that? Let's do the quick start here, all right, we are doing the quick start, I'm going to hold it up. Do this little number all right, while we have that taken it's time to set up, let's go ahead and unbox the MagSafe charger. I am super stoked about this. I have a puppy that sleeps with me every night, and he is notorious for knocking things off of my nightstand and, to be honest, it'll be nice to have a charging piece that actually sticks to my phone, not to mention when you use the just like Bluetooth chargers. Furthermore, I have one from Amazon, and you have to set it like very precisely on that charger and some nights most nights.

Furthermore, I don't do that, so my phone doesn't charge, then I don't have a charged phone and I just start the day off on the wrong foot. So this will be nice. The fact that you can know for a fact that it's attached to your phone- and you don't have to worry about like moving it around- to make sure that it's actually charging all right, we're gonna, set up face I'd all right face. I'd is now set up. We're going to go ahead and transfer all the data.

If you guys didn't know, I did a total rebrand, so we had Catherine June with a k. That was something that I came up with, because I thought it was fun uh for my YouTube name quite some time ago, and as of recently, I have changed it to the actual legal spelling of my name, which is Katherine with the c. There was lots of confusion over that just figured. I would put that out there, so, hopefully there's no confusion anymore. It's just Catherine June we're sticking with it, we're going with if it's what it is all right, while that continues to set up.

Let's go ahead and pop this out, setting up Wi-Fi settings for my other phone, perfect we're going to set up my wallet later we're going to pair it with my Apple Watch. Really quick. I never use iCloud storage. If anybody else I've, I never use it, honestly. It gets filled up so quick, all right press and hold the side button to talk to Siri cool, going along with all of this stuff.

Let's go ahead and sign in to my Apple ID all right. We're going to have to skip that step because it's not accepting the password. I don't know what's going on there. That's that's frustrating that happens to me every single year with the iPhone like I know my password. I just had to set that all up with my uh new desktop, as you guys saw on my tech, channel and uh.

I don't know why it wasn't working all right, cool, it's transferring all of my data. Hopefully the uh. The internet here is actually going to work. I don't even think I'm on the Wi-Fi right now. We've had so many issues with our internet the past few days, so I wouldn't be surprised if it uh doesn't want to work with me.

Alright, so it's time remaining about 15 minutes, so we're gonna hope for the best here. I'm going to go ahead and plug this in, so we can test it out and see how it works. Oh now, it's saying like 50 minutes all right, cool cool cool love that it's just going higher all right. I think my laptop's, the closest thing that I have that uh we'll be able to work and charge. This look at that.

That's awesome how freaking cool is that I've seen everyone like hold it. Look how sturdy that thing is. That's amazing, you're, like you really don't, have to worry about that falling. That's pretty dang sturdy, like I love it cool. I don't have a case for my phone.

I had a little mishap with a company that I ordered from and uh. Now I have to pay to ship back all the cases which is probably going to be the same amount that it is to just buy more cases, so I really haven't decided what I'm going to do yet still TBD on that but uh for now. I won't have a case on my phone all right this one. I saw someone do a video on TikTok the other day that shows the magnets in this phone. You really only have one down here in this corner, so the magnetic stick on these phones is not going to be as strong, obviously as you would have in the new iPhone 12 Pro and that's just because the magnets are obviously not built the same, but there we have it overall.

I'm really freaking excited about this, so the size comparison here, as you guys can see on the side. I don't even know if you guys can see that all right so for a side by side comparison, you guys can see here. Obviously this is the difference that we have. We've got the back of the phones. Now you can really see the size difference on here, but look at the cameras.

We've got that extra sensor on there it looks nice. It looks really nice. I love the graphite color of this one and honestly, just like the feel of everything incredible so beautiful. I know a lot of people were saying all right, we're stepping back in time. It just looks like the iPhone 5.

I personally am very excited about this particular design feature. I feel like this. One is just so much easier personally to hold than this one with the rounded edges like you've got more of a grip on the phone itself. I know I'm getting fingerprints all over this phone, I'm sorry to anyone who is like not a fan of that. I will obviously clean it afterwards, but these are just so nice.

Furthermore, I am so thrilled to have a smaller phone, because now I can actually use one hand to do things on my phone versus actually having to like to take both hands, and really you know, figure things out all right, guys, I'm going to go ahead and let my phone take its time to set up it's going to take another 40 minutes to even transfer everything, so that is going to be it for the unboxing portion and if you guys want to see a comparison for the actual cameras on these two phones make sure to subscribe to my tech channel.
