Hey guys it's altitude here and guess what it's thanksgiving week and I just wanted to say thank you for all the watchers and subscribers on my channel. You guys really left a lot of good comments, suggestions, feedback, words of encouragement on my last clear cases, video- and this really helps me to generate more content like this. So thank you very much for that. Anyways, if you guys are thinking about indulging in some nice iPhone, 12 pro accessories this Black Friday weekend, and you're, not sure what color the pick I'm here to give you a few thoughts on what colors, I think, are the best for the wallet for the silicon case and for the leather case. Obviously, I'm maybe a little biased, as I have the pacific blue iPhone 12 Pro. But here are my thoughts.
First, I wanted to show you the silicone case and deep navy. If you look on the inside, it has this very, very soft material, along with the MagSafe magnet inside the back of the case. Now that we have the silicone case on the phone, let's go over a few pros for this case, when you first pick it up you'll notice that it feels ultra soft in your hands, it's a very pleasant feeling in your hands, and it just really makes me want to pick up the phone even more with silicone cases. A lot of people are worried about lint, worried about the case attracting lint, and you know to be honest for this case. It didn't really attract too much lint.
I put it in my pockets throughout the day, and it picks up a little of lint, but it actually comes right off when you kind of sweep your finger over it. So it's not too bad. For this case, the button cutouts are pretty nice very tactile on the power button and the volume buttons as well, there's very good lip protection for the front of the screen and also for the camera cut out in the back as well. Overall, this case is a very sturdy and very solid feeling case. It's its a case that you can just chuck around, get dirty get water on it, and it doesn't really matter it's a very good.
You know casual day-to-day case, just slap it on, and it will protect your phone, and it feels great in your hands, and you just don't have to worry too much about it. This case do note that this year they added protection for the bottom part of your phone. They actually closed this off as compared to previous year's silicone cases. So that's that's a plus. This is how it looks like on your iPhone 12 Pro in pacific blue, to go over some cons for this case.
If you notice on the back oils from your fingers and your hands grease anything like that does adhere to this case very easily. This is just from a few days of using it. I've actually had this case uh for a couple of weeks now, and you know after each day or every few days I kind of have to wipe it down with some water. Just a warm towel to get off some of these oil marks and oil stains. There is some concern about this case over time, how the material will respond to the oil and the grease.
If it's anything like the silicon bands on the Apple Watch over time, it just gets kind of a like a slick sheen that never really comes off um on my Apple Watch, silicone bands, so if this is anything like that, that might be something to kind of watch out for, and you'll kind of notice. Here I don't know if you can see it, but even this case gets kind of like the mag safe mark on the back as well over time. As always, this is a MagSafe case, so it charges great using the MagSafe charger and in addition to that, the leather wallet in saddle brown color also looks fantastic with this case as well. Next, we have the leather case in Baltic blue. If you look on the inside of this case, it also has the very nice soft material on the back, so it doesn't scratch your phone, along with a MagSafe magnet there on the back of the case.
This is what the Baltic blue leather case looks like on the iPhone 12 Pro in pacific blue at first feel. This has a decent grip as well. It's a little more slippery than the silicone case, but actually provides still provides very good grip. It's a noticeably smoother finish and kind of sleeker finish than the silicone case, so the advantage that this has is it doesn't attract any lint. Furthermore, it feels like it doesn't attract any oils, and the best thing I like about this case actually are the buttons you notice.
The buttons here are actually metal buttons. They are very, very tactile, and it's almost like pushing the actual real button on your phone again. This case also has very good lip protection for your front screen and also for the camera as well on the back, it's overall, a very stylish looking case, but this case I do find myself being a little more careful about the case where I put it down whether I'm going to spill anything on it. An obvious concern about the leather case is that the leather because of the material will wear down over time, you're going to get scratches. Discoloration dents mark a patina.
If you will and over time the leather is just going to get worn and that's just how other functions. If you notice on the Apple website, they even sell the leather case with a disclaimer showing a picture that your mag slave will actually leave an indentation on the back of the leather case over time, and you know I'm concerned that you know the imprint will become a little more permanent over time and even putting on the saddle brown wallet case here- might kind of leave a mark over time if you keep sliding it back and forth to get off the wallet so anyways. This is what the leather case looks like with the saddle brown wallet. I think, in my opinion, this is the best color combination for your iPhone 12 Pro and pacific blue with the Baltic blue leather case and the saddle brown wallet here and naturally this case charges with MagSafe as well. So, which case will you be getting the silicone case or the leather case drop a comment below and let me know which one you like better as for me, I think I'll stick with a leather case as it matches a little better with my saddle, brown wallet anyways.
That's it have a great thanksgiving, guys, see you in the next one peace you.
