iPhone 12 Pro 6 Months Later - Best iPhone EVER??

This video is sponsored by morning bro, become smarter in just 5 minutes. Okay, let's talk about the iPhone 12 Pro and man. I don't even know where to begin out of all five iPhones dropped last year. This is the one that I keep returning to and dare I say it, this might be my favorite iPhone of all time. Now I get that's a big statement, one that I'm sure that not everyone is going to agree with, but the iPhone 12 Pro to me has been generally great in virtually every way possible when it comes to user experience. I usually always find at least one thing about any iPhone that bugs me, but man, I've been doing some hard thinking over the past few days and there's nothing about this phone to me.

That's overtly bad! So today I want to talk about how my experience has been with the iPhone 12 Pro six months later and specifically go into why I think it's the best iPhone ever now before we jump into the review in case you're new here, I'm Jason. I would really appreciate it if you give this video a thumbs up. It really does help me out and if you're a tech junkie like me, don't forget to subscribe to the channel, so you can stay up to date with all the reviews. Okay. The first reason why the iPhone 12 Pro is the best iPhone ever is because of its performance.

iPhones are renowned for their capability and have a history of outstanding performance, and the main reason for that is because of its uncanny ability to integrate their software and hardware. Now, that's nothing really new, but the iPhone 12 Pro is an exceptionally well performing phone. It's been six months and there's been not slow down whatsoever. UI navigation continues to be buttery smooth, and I've been doing a lot of gaming lately, something I didn't do in the past. It's super enjoyable on this phone, and it's never ceased up on me once now.

Primary reason why the iPhone 12 Pro is as powerful as it is because it's equipped with apple's latest chipset, the ultra powerful a14 bionic and what's becoming more clear with each passing day, is that apple does not mess around when it comes to developing its own processors. Smooth scrolling around the UI and honestly even playing spec intensive games is not that difficult for most iPhones to do, ironically, where the a14 bionic is doing by far the heaviest lifting is in an area where most people won't even notice. The iPhone's camera features I know, features like deep fusion and next generation. Smart HDR can sound like gimmicks, but in reality they require a ton of horsepower. Every time you turn the camera on.

When you hit the shutter button, your phone isn't just taking one picture: it's oftentimes, taking multiple snaps at different exposure levels and then using the a14's neural engine to evaluate individual pixels between all the pictures to ID the best ones and then stitching together all the best parts. To give you a final image that looks incredible, and it does it all so fast that no one ever notices it does the same thing when shooting video as well and what's even more insane, is that it gives you a live preview on the viewfinder of the stitched together, feed and because it seems so effortless most people don't recognize how much power you actually need to have a feature like that, and I think that underscores just how well the iPhone 12 Pro performs. It's so good. You won't even notice what it's doing now. The next reason why the iPhone 12 Pro is the best iPhone ever are the cameras themselves, but before we get into that, I want to give a huge shout out to morning brew today's video sponsor.

If you're. Like me, one of the first things that you do in the morning is catch up on the news. I usually end up mindlessly jumping from app to app sight to cite only to realize that I've wasted at least 30 minutes of my precious time without much to show for it. That's before I signed up for morning brew morning. Brew is a free online newsletter that makes the news not only way easier to digest, but also way more fun to consume.

They do such a good job of getting you to the points that matter in the story by curating the newsletter into bite-sized chunks, and they summarize using a ton of woody references making it a lot of fun to read. Morning brew is so much more entertaining than the traditional news that I honestly end up, reading, maybe two lines of and then skipping, and it's now one of my favorite parts of my morning routine.

I was just reading an article about NFTs, and it's a very complicated subject, but morning brew did such a good job of making it much easier to understand if you're, interested in business finance tech or just keeping up to date with everything that's going on in the world, there's really no reason not to subscribe to morning brew it's totally free. The link in the description below to subscribe to morning brew today and start your morning off right, okay, piggybacking off the first reason why the iPhone 12 Pro is the best iPhone ever. The second reason is no big surprise. The cameras themselves apple has made significant gains in their camera performance over the past few years, and I firmly believe that the iPhone has solidified itself as having the best overall camera screen on any phone.

The iPhone 12 Pro has a total of four cameras, starting with the front-facing camera. It's a 12 megapixel sensor that pumps up fantastic, looking, selfies they're sharp, have excellent colors and because it uses the depth sensors that are part of the face ID security system. It does particularly well with portrait mode shots. There's really two standout features when it comes to the selfies on the iPhone 12. Pro first is the dynamic range you get really balanced exposure, even in difficult lighting situations.

The second is how natural the selfies come out: they're, not as aggressive with face smoothing or beautifying, making them not look artificially enhanced. As far as video apple has always been a leader here when it comes to resolution frame rates and overall quality and somehow the iPhone 12 Pro is able to take it up a notch. It can record 4k video and Dolby Vision, HDR at up to 30 frames per second, the dynamic range you're able to get on this phone is almost like magic, and this is still, in my opinion, the best phone, if you're a content creator on something like Instagram or tick-tock. When it comes to the cameras on the rear, you got your standard wide angle, ultra-wide and a three times optical zoom. It can seem pretty vanilla, but when it comes to performance, it's anything, but the iPhone 12 Pro produces the most reliable, consistent, still, images that look incredible, razor sharp get natural, looking colors and again, the dynamic range is exemplary.

The comprehensive image processing is so well integrated into the hardware. All you have to do is press the shutter button, and you're almost guaranteed a fantastic image. Plus this phone has a built-in LIDAR sensor, which could be used for a variety of different applications. I don't really dabble with it too much, but it does make finding focus virtually impossible to fail, even in super low light conditions when it comes to video. It's no question the iPhone 12 Pro holds on to the title of undisputed champ in this area, and it's by a far margin.

The cameras on the rear can also shoot in 4k, Dolby Vision, HDR, but up to 60 frames per second, and the quality is ridiculously good. The dynamic range you're able to get on this phone is almost like magic and, as video is becoming a more often used medium these days, it's a really important feature to take into consideration. Overall, the cameras on the top pro have been an absolute joy to use over the past six months, and it's probably the most convincing reason why you should pick up this phone. Okay. The last reason why the iPhone 12 Pro is the best iPhone ever is because of its build quality and form factor.

iPhones have always been known for their use of premium, build materials, and it's no exception here call me a snap, but I really love the stainless steel frame. I hate using this terminology, but it does feel way better in the hand than aluminum, and it provides more grip, and this high polished finish pairs perfectly with the frosted glass panel on the back. It's awesome because you get no fingerprints plastered all over the place, like you would on a glossy finish and the way this phone shimmers in the light it seriously never gets old, and it's such a clean minimalistic design and to me the main reason why all the iPhone 12 Pro's build materials and the overall user experience come together is because of the form factor. I'm a huge fan of this new right size approach, dimensionally, it's perfect for being able to comfortably hold and operate while also getting a super immersive display that makes consuming content pretty fantastic. Now, a lot of people don't believe me, but I did have the iPhone 12 Pro max for about a month and I did return it, which is kind of odd, because I've been a big iPhone person for a very long time.

Now, at the end of the day, I just found it uncomfortable so wide that it's hard to operate, and, ironically, the flat frame actually makes it harder to hold not to the extent that it was awful. But to me the regular 12 pro is just so much better. Overall, it's a luxurious! More comfortable phone that to me represents a very refined design by apple that doesn't have many compromises, so those are the reasons why I think the iPhone 12 Pro is the best iPhone ever. Let me know in the comments, if you guys agree with me, disagree with me would love to get your thoughts in the comments below thanks for watching, and I'll see you guys in the next one you.
