iPhone 12 mini: my honest REVIEW + FINAL thoughts... 90 days later! (size, battery, speed + more) By Sarah Bispy

What is up you guys, welcome back to my channel and welcome back to another video. My name is Sarah. If this is your first time here in today's video, I am going to be sharing my final thoughts and a review on the iPhone 12 mini back in November. I uploaded a video to my channel where I unboxed my iPhone 12 mini with you guys, and I gave you my first impressions of seeing the iPhone 12 mini in person for the first time ever. If you haven't seen that video just yet, and you are interested in seeing me unbox the iPhone 12 mini and give you my first impressions for seeing it for the first time, I will link it above and leave it in the description box, so you can check that out, but, more importantly, for today's video, I am going to be giving an in-depth review and my final thoughts on the iPhone 12 mini after using it for 90 days. So the first thing I do want to talk about when we are looking at the iPhone 12 mini is obviously going to be the size.

I feel like the size is really what sets the iPhone 12 mini apart from a lot of the other iPhones, and the size is really what makes this phone unique. Normally, when you do choose to get a smaller iPhone, you have to give up some of the perks that come with the bigger iPhones, but when it comes to the iPhone 12 mini, and that is not the case, that is one of the most spectacular things that I do have to know about the size of the 12 mini. Is that you're not having to skimp on any of the technology and any of the features that you would actually get in the larger iPhone 12. After using this phone for about three months? I do have to say, I think it's the perfect size. It fits really well in my hand, it fits well in jean pockets coat pockets, especially if you do have a smaller purse.

It fits right in. I was worried that it was going to be too small just due to how it was advertised, but my experience has been the complete opposite in my unboxing video. I do compare the size of the iPhone 8 directly to the 12 mini and in that video you can see they are very similar in size, except the 12 mini actually feels bigger. Since the screen display is bigger on this phone compared to the eight I feel like iPhones continue to get bigger and bigger and bigger. So it's really nice to see that apple did incorporate the technology they do put in their larger phones into a phone the size of the 12 minute.

The next thing I want to go over in my iPhone 12 mini review after using this phone for 90 days is the quality. I actually think this is going to be the most important topic that we do talk about when it comes to reviewing the iPhone 12 mini, because the quality of this iPhone from the photos it takes to the actual durability of the phone has surpassed. Every single expectation that I did have one thing that I will say is the screen itself. Has this very crisp and clean look to it? You can just tell even when you're just scrolling, through social media, on your phone, the images in the display itself is very crisp, very clean and just very high quality, which makes it extremely easy to look at. I never know with a new iPhone how durable it's actually going to be, and if it's going to crack the first time I drop it.

I've sadly already dropped this phone multiple times and there has not been one single crack or one issue that I've had with the phone from dropping it. But I will say I do normally have a case on this phone, and then I do have the glass screen protector on the front, but even with that being said, sometimes, when you do drop your iPhones, they do tend to crack. I have not had that issue yet knock on wood. Another thing that I will add with the exterior of this phone is it just feels very high quality from the materials that are used. It looks very modern and industrialized.

I guess is the word, I'm looking for even the buttons on this phone just feel like they're made with a better material. I just love the way that the phone does actually fit with the rounded edges that it does have. Furthermore, I could not pick a better design for the iPhone 12 mini when it comes to the size and when it comes to the quality, I have zero complaints. There is nothing I would change about. The phone I feel like the display is a perfect size and I think the overall function of the phone is just really well put together.

One thing with the iPhone 12 mini that you are not going to be disappointed by is the camera. I actually did an in-depth video on my channel, where I did compare the quality of the iPhone 12 mini camera to the iPhone 8. So I will also link that, above and in the description box below, if you do want to check that one out the camera on this phone truly looks like you're taking pictures with a high-end professional grade camera. I'm just going to put an example on the screen of a picture that I recently took of my ROG with this camera. There's no filter, there's nothing added anything sharpened to this photo.

This is just what the photos do. Look like from the iPhone 12 mini the image, looks so crisp clear, and it almost feels like you're, actually there, when I look back at pictures that I've taken with the 12 mini, I feel like I am back at that moment, looking at it in real time. So that is one thing I will say about the camera compared to the iPhone 8 is the difference in the camera. Quality cannot even be compared to one another because they're just in completely different leagues. I love the fact that the camera does pick up on every single little detail in the photos that you're taking, especially for someone that does enjoy photography, or you enjoy making videos.

This is such an amazing phone to have, and I think that is really what sets this camera apart compared to other iPhones. Overall, I'm highly impressed with the technology in the camera that is on the iPhone 12 mini, and I could not be more satisfied with the results that it does produce. But again I will put the disclaimer in there that I did have the iPhone 8 before this. So I know there has been plenty iPhones in between the iPhone 8 and the 12 mini. So if you are someone who does have a newer iPhone, you might be used to having better camera quality anyway, so the 12 mini camera quality might not be that different for you, but when you go from the camera on the iPhone 8 to the camera on the iPhone 12 mini, the differences are spectacular, since this is the iPhone 12 mini the one thing that was always advertised about this phone before I even purchased.

It was that this was the smallest fastest 5g phone in the world. So let's talk about the speed, I'm going to be honest, I can't say that I've necessarily seen a huge difference or improvement in the speed on this iPhone. I wouldn't say that I've ever had a problem with connecting to the internet on this phone or how quickly it moves, but I haven't noticed anything out of this world or really anything that feels different from the iPhone 8. There has been a lot of speculation about the iPhone 12 mini and its battery feel like the battery on this phone has been a main cause of concern for many people, which is kind of one of the things that probably steered away. People who wanted the size of the 12 mini, but they didn't want to compromise on battery life.

I will say just from hearing other people's reviews and reading other people's calls of concern on how long the battery will last on the 12 mini. I was kind of skeptical before I did get the phone, and I was nervous that this would not have a good battery life whatsoever, but I have been pleasantly surprised with how long this battery really does. Last. Everyone uses their devices differently. Some people use their phone more than others, and then some people barely use their phone at all.

For me, particularly, I use my phone pretty often, especially with YouTube, I'm always using it to respond to comments keep up with my channel and edit every single one of my thumbnails. My battery will pretty much last me all day until I get in bed. That is the first time I will put it on the charger, but then again, I'm not one of those people that is sitting on YouTube every day, watching videos on my phone and using a lot of data. At the same time, I do spend a good amount of time on my phone, but I don't think that I'm one of those people that literally spin every waking. Second on my phone, but for me, I have not had one single issue with the battery, so if the concern of having a shorter battery life on the iPhone 12 mini has prevented you from getting the phone, I personally have not had any issues with it.

I can't speak for everyone, because again we all use our phones differently. We all do different things on our devices. The only thing I can say is: I have not had an issue, and I'm very satisfied with it. So when it comes down to my final thoughts on the iPhone 12 mini and my overall opinions on this phone, I think this phone is awesome. It is definitely a step-up from the iPhone 8, and I could not be happier with the choice of choosing the 12 mini compared to the other 12 models, but at the end of the day, it's just another iPhone thing with apple and the thing with iPhones is there's going to constantly be new iPhones that do come out, and the technology is just going to keep getting better and better and better.

But if I had the choice to purchase the iPhone, 12 mini all over again or choose another iPhone 12 model, I would purchase the 12 mini over and over and over again I cannot stress how satisfied and happy I am with the decision of getting the 12 mini. I know other people might have different experiences with this phone, but for me, it has worked out perfectly. That is going to conclude my final thoughts and my review on the iPhone 12 mini after using it for 90 days. Hopefully, this video does help you out.
