iPhone 12 mini 24 hour update/battery By Sarasota Tim

Hey how's it going everybody Sarasota Tim here. Welcome to my next video. Well, I'm out taking a run right now, and I got tired, so I thought I would make a little quick video. It's only been 24 hours since I've had my new iPhone 12 mini black with 128 gigabytes, and I just can't say enough about it: uh, it's just so invisible in my pocket and in my hand I just want to let you guys know that uh I've been getting some very, very friendly, um complimentary comments, um about how I do my videos and everything- and I just want you to know it's very humbling- and I really appreciate it. I mean to take the time to say something like that is, is very uh very nice. So thank you again also uh.

A couple have asked me about uh. You know doing a video on the case and the screen protector, and you know the battery life stuff like that. Well anything I can tell you I'll try to think of a way to give you further information on the battery, but I had the SE 2020, and I'm a camera hog, I'm always looking at YouTube, videos or surfing the web, and it needed to be charged. You often know, but it never really bothered me, I mean uh. I was either near my charger at home or in my car I never had a know situation where the battery died on me and I use a phone I guarantee as much as anybody, so I kind of say in 24 hours I intentionally, you know, haven't charged the phone because you know people were asking about what the battery would do.

So I said well let me just let this thing go down. You know I got the charger right here. It was hard to kill it. It's got a little bigger battery, of course, in the se2020. So I was happy with that.

I'm totally happy with this and uh I charged it this morning to tell you what happened. You know I got that anchor charger, 20 watts, and I'm using the USB, the lightning cable that comes with the phone, so I put it in because the low battery light came on. I did not put it on the charger. Last night when I went to bed uh, it was 50 percent and I woke up this morning and started playing around with it and watching some more YouTube videos. I use my Roku on the phone here to navigate and control the TV and listen to it.

You know through these, so the volume isn't disturbing my girlfriend, because I get up at four or five in the morning yeah I go to bed early too, though, but not, not real early, and sometimes I'm up pretty late, but I hit the ground running. I get up early, I'm one of those kind of guys definitely a morning person, so the battery light or the battery warning you know low battery came on, and so I put it on, and I got to do a crosswalk here got to be careful. I don't get run over nobody's looking at me, holding my phone up but um. So I put it on that charger. It didn't seem like no time I was going to go out for my morning walk, so I went in brush my teeth.

You know finished my coffee. Maybe I had another cup of coffee wouldn't brush my teeth and uh. There's a blower here, uh tropical storm Ada came by a week ago. We have all these I'll show. You got all these acorns on the ground and uh tree limbs and stuff, so they're they're coming out trying to clean the mess-up.

So the guy's got him a jet blower over there anyway, back on topic. So by the time I brushed my teeth finished my cup of coffee. It really it didn't seem like no time at all. I was down to 17 percent and I went and unplugged it take the walk. I was going to take whatever charge.

Furthermore, I had it said 85 I mean come on, that's crazy, good in no time so, and then I'm on the same, I'm on the same charge, since I did that this morning and uh I've been using the phone as much as I could. Furthermore, I mean can't use it when I walk, I walk five miles, and I'm running right now. You see me running, and it's a four-mile run just taking a break here. I just thought of you guys thought. Oh, my arm's killing.

Me though you know, I can't do this without something to put my arm on after about five minutes. So the battery is great, the phone's great and that sign case is the jets coming. Sorry um is awesome and the screen protector I put on there with that little gizmo. In my other uh video, I showed you lay the phone in there. That thing is on there, so invisible so perfect, so aligned you remember back in the day.

Yes, you know by hand, lay them on there and try to get them right. Then you lift it up. Put it back down. This just goes on perfect, so never really been a big screen protector guy, but so proud of this phone. I just wanted to protect her, so I got those things oh my arm, so I have to close now get back to my running, and I'll.

Do a little more, I had some screenshots I took of the battery, showing you know what I was using, mostly YouTube and settings. There's a guy on YouTube. His name is Brandon he's always when a new uh update comes out talks about the things to do to your phone first thing and how to save battery in the settings. I bet a lot of people don't know this, but if you hope I don't turn my phone off, I got to change arms. If you um close out your apps, you know push to push them up like that and then reopen the app.

He said it takes actually a little more battery, so leave them open and bring them up and fan through them and just go back to whatever app you've used. Last I mean they're the wraps you're using all the time- and you know most people think that closing them out is how you save, but I don't know if it's true or not, but I'm doing that so yeah. I do everything I can to save battery. I'm sure you guys want to as well, but the mini is awesome. Furthermore, I can't say it enough: I like the black- I like it is like it, I've been doing some picture taking and some videoing.

Furthermore, I got it on 4k um 30 frames per second, I'm sharing them with my daughter and other people, and I'm sure they're enjoying them. My daughter was asking me how I like the phone she knew. I was getting it and uh, that's it so, like I said earlier, I'm going to have to figure out some other kind of things to put up on the channel uh.
