So you're getting an iPhone 11 or an iPhone 11 Pro. Well, we're going to tell you what's in store for you by unboxing this iPhone 11 Pro, it's the 512 gigabyte version in white and, let's open it up start by peeling off the plastic, always a satisfying feeling and then open it up. I can hear it boom take off the cover and there it is it's. A little shiny, has a silvery color to it if in perfect light- and there is the triple lens camera so definitely prominent, very prominent on the white version. So it's a kind of interesting there's. The midnight green version that everybody's raving about, but yet today we're checking out the white version.
We're gonna, peel off more lovely plastic yeah, so yeah we're going to set this aside. While it turns on and see what else is in this box, because that's what an unboxing is all about, so it's booting up rest that right there ever so carefully so designed by Apple in California, and that is all important yeah it's manufactured elsewhere, but all done in Cupertino. The first thing we see is this bigger charger this. This brick right here it is a fast charger that was huge news, not unexpected, because it's long overdue we've been dealing with this small 5 watt charger for so long. This is an 18 watt charger.
It is going to give you immensely quicker speeds for your iPhone, and charging should take a little over an hour instead of taking several hours with this old-school charger. Now it is USB Con this side, and then it's lightning on the other side we'll find in the box the special connector. So it's a little smaller of a connector same length, but the USB is a little easier to use on this side. It's no longer USA, so it'll actually fit in a MacBook, and that it is a perfect thing. Apple still includes the AirPods they're, the old-school wired versions, although they have lightning port.
So if you're upgrading from an iPhone 6's core earlier, it's no longer being plugged into a headphone jack, there is no headphone jack on this iPhone. It hasn't been that way since the iPhone 7, so yep. That's still here, there's no dongle inside the box. It's not there, but you'll have to invest in a very cheap dongle. You can get it on Amazon.
You know the Apple stores as well, so we're going to turn to the iPhone, and it's already saying hello and yeah we're going to boot this up, but so we're also gonna. Take a look at these cameras and in our full review and our full video review. We're going to test these out and take 4k video. Take ultra-wide photos. Take telephoto that telephoto has been improved, that's kind of something that they didn't really talk about too much at the launch event.
But it's something that kind of flew under people's radar. So that's going to be an interesting thing and then the regular lens, which has a special night mode, and so you can take photos on the dark, and it looks like the lights are on. So that's going to be cool, so we're going to check everything out. We're gonna. Do some charging tests we're gonna, do battery life test, try to drain the battery and go through.
You know see how the finish is this matte finish? That's very new, and it's still glass on the back, but it has just a finer texture to it and I kind of like that. It's a little less slippery. So that's great! So we're going to boot! This up, we're going to go through it, give you a full video review, but we literally wanted to tell you what's what's inside the box and if you need a know a way to connect to the headphones. We do suggest air pods. They don't come with the iPhone, but they do connect instantly and that it's pretty great so check out.
