iPad Mini 5! iPad Bendgate 2.0, Futuristic 360° iPhone & More News!

It, what's up guys big news day for Apple today, a couple new iPads to talk about, but first off I want to share my new iPad Pro just picked it up. Apple says you know nothing to worry about here with the Box a little bent, but you know it's up to their specifications here. It is the 2018 iPad Pro and I. Don't know it might be a little bent, but you know they say it's fine. So it's cool! Alright, let's talk about the whole iPad been Fiasco and all the latest news. Okay, so we have to talk about this whole bent iPad thing.

Obviously my thing is a joke, but a lot of people are buying brand-new iPads opening up the box, and there is a bent there's a very noticeable Bend when you set the iPad out on a table, it's rocking back and forth, and not because of the protruding camera lens, because there's an actual bend most are attending to happen around the antenna lines from the LTE model, just because they weak in the chassis and in my tests, just from like what I was able to gather by bending this thing, a little is, it is so malleable like this is some I'll? Do it for you guys right now like watch this. This is some of the softest and most malleable metal I've ever seen on an iPad like you can bend it and unbend. Oh, and unbend. It's just like that on the fly. I know, I, don't know how, but somehow this iPad is still working, despite all of its abuse.

It's taken. So the point is these: things are very prone to bending, but Apple. Responding to the verge are saying that this is normal. This is how they come from the factory, and I'm. Obviously, they're not going to be this bent, but they do have a quite considerable amount to bend from all the pictures we've been seeing online Apple said that there's a normal amount of Bend, and it shouldn't get worse over time, but the truth is most people that put these things into backpacks that are throwing them around.

They do tend to bend over time just from a little of force. Literally, if you have the iPad in a backpack, and you lean back that's how a lot of people have gotten their bends in their iPads, yes they're prone to bending, but the ridiculous part is that Apple is saying that it's okay, and they will not be repairing any bent iPads because of this they've built the iPad it's prone to bending, but it's not their fault, it's completely normal by Apple's words. They do not consider to be a defect. So if you come into the Apple Store with a bend on your iPad they're going to turn you away or charge a ridiculous feed to replace it. In fact, there have been some repairs on the iPad Pro already with a bent.

Chassis and Apple is charging around six hundred dollars to replace the chassis. The logic for the swap everything like that is ridiculous, so Apple needs to own this. They need to be replacing these on their own without people paying for them out of their own pockets. There is no reality, I think where it's okay for a product to come bent out of the box, not even with you, bending it. It comes to you bent already, so I think Apple definitely needs to onus.

That is ridiculous. This goes further, so 95 Mac obtained an email between a customer and the SVP of hardware engineering at Apple and in that email. The SVP says that this new iPad is specified up to 400 microns of flatness and in fact, that it's even tighter than previous generation of iPads and yes, the iPads, have been thin in the past, but I haven't really had any issues with bending because the edges were beveled. It was a very nice design, pretty durable this one boy, oh boy, it is so easy to bend. It's ridiculous and if you really think about it, had this new iPad been the iPhone 10s, let's say it was bending like that.

Nobody would be okay with that there would be a huge uproar, just like the old Ben Gay issue with the iPhone 6 is because the iPad is a little more of a specialty product, not as many people buy it that it's not that big of an issue but Apple. You need to fix this. So there's the whole bend fiasco if you guys have purchased a new iPad, and you're. Seeing a bent honestly send me some pictures. Let's make this a big deal, let's make the roar so low that Apple can ignore anymore, but yeah, there's that, on the other spectrum of iPad news, there's a couple of new models coming out in 2019 they're, going to help reinvigorate the sales of the declining iPad market.

So the China Times is reporting. Apple is working on two new iPads for 2019, and I'm actually very excited about what they could be: the iPad Mini 5. They say they're working on a replacement, iPad Mini and a replacement to the $329 cheaper iPad, with a slightly larger display talk about these in detail. Here we worked a little on the concept of what we could in one day. So don't expect a lot, but I try to give you as best of an idea as I could hear.

So, let's start with that, iPad Mini I think it would be called the iPad Mini five, because the last one was four. It's been quite some time since that was updated in September 2015. There's been quite some time in between there may be the naming could change, but let's call it the iPad Mini 5. What we know from the news article produced by China Times is that this would be produced in 2019. In the first half it would be announced in the full-scale production would start near or around December 2019.

This is still pretty far away, and they didn't really give any other details about this device. But my guess is that this would, of course be inspired by the larger iPads imagine and iPad Mini without a home button. At all, inspired by the new iPads, so that's kind of the concept we came up with, and it's obviously a smaller iPad. So it would cost a little less they're saying that this would be a budget model, so they're gonna focus on that budget. Part they're not gonna, make it too powerful, not too fancy, but still I'd like to see that display.

It would just be nice to have a uniform iPad line with the same home, but unless design I honestly love to the iPad minis, but now that we have an iPhone tennis max it kind of bridges, the gap between the iPads and the iPhones, it's sort of like a mini iPad on its own, but still I want the iPad Mini 5 to be a reality. I probably won't buy it, but it'd be certainly nice to have that in the lineup. Next up would be a cheap, entry-level iPad, so this would be replacing the $329 nine point. Seven-inch iPad that just came out in March 2018 and the only detail we have on it is that it would have a ten-inch display with a narrow frame. So from this I'm pretty sure what this means is that it'll also be removing the home button and getting a similar display to the new iPads that just came out, but with very cheap internals, so cheaper processors, not as much RAM, it won't be us capable, but it'll still look pretty nice.

In fact, we kept the same design but just updated the display just to have the differentiation from the newer ones with the blocky design. So this way the entire iPad lineup going forward would have that bezel-less display and the OS designed for it would work the same on all of them. It would be a very great plan. Just have the internals and the look slightly different to make them all unique in the lineup. The report mentions that Apple is trying to lower the price on these iPads by switching to a Korean supplier for their LED displays I doubt that'll translate to us, but more money for them in their pocket.

Of course, there's what's going on with the iPads the iPad Mini five gets me excited. I want to see Apple. Do that too. You can really start to see that Apple is in scramble mode, and I'm, pretty sure that they're going to do something with the iPhone SE as a result, because they're seeing whoa we're not doing too hot we're releasing products that people don't really want. What people really want is an iPhone.

Se too, like I, see more demand for that online than anywhere else. Imagine if Apple follows suit here, after releasing the iPad Mini 5, they work on an iPhone SE to model that is a device that people actually want. There's pent-up hype for it, so it would make sense for them to do that. But Apple doesn't always seem like a logical company. Hey where's enough about the iPads want to mention some other things.

I was twelve point. One point two got re-released with a new build number. Nobody really knows why, but there's a rumor that it's because twelve point, one point two caused a restore on several devices: they had to completely restore their device after he's getting bricked, and this is kind of an updated build to fix that Wow. So I invested an apple at the worst possible time. I'm actually in the market and these stocks just hit one hundred fifty dollars, I invested at one hundred and ninety hundred eighty somewhere around there.

So I'm doing pretty good on that, but anyways apples woes continued, the iPhone 10 our production is rumored to be slashed yet again by four million units. This is after it supposedly happened already twice. Barenblatt analyst is saying that, because of the whole Huawei scandal where the CFO was arrested, this created an empty pocket in the market and always promoting a product that crazy other competitors are at low prices to fill that void and the iPhone 10 are as a result with its high prices, won't be doing so great and, as a result, they're cutting production again. So this is just doing wondrous to the stock Apple as a company is doing terrible right now, absolutely terrible. They really need to rethink all their choices going forward into 2019 any whole Qualcomm and Apple spats has gone worse in Germany.

Apple has officially been forced to stop selling some iPhone 7 and 8 models in stores because of some issues between Qualcomm and Apple between the power management chip, any LTE modems. They cannot reach an agreement. This whole iOS. Twelve point one point, two twelve point: one point three: as a result of this, so something's going to happen. Here, it's cooking, it's getting pretty bad.

It's also very exciting to see some new patents that Apple is working on. Here's this one, that's just been granted to Apple it's a 360 degree iPhone with a screen on the front on the back and on the sides. Basically, a wrap around 360 degree display and this patent details an interface that would be controlled by motion and also a touch sensitive back, so you'll be able to touch the iPhone on the back and have it control the front of the phone we've seen this kind of before in some patents. But this is an all new one specifically for this design. The way I see it, this is possibly the future of smartphones, so many phone manufacturers are working on things like this Samsung in particular Apple now ? for the longest time that wraparound displays may very well be real one day kind of something that looks ridiculous right now, but will be normalized I.

Think, like ten years from now, even once the technology catches up I think that it's pretty needs, but let's see 10 years from now what the reality brings and a very unusual one for Apple. So this here is a patent that weaves circuitry into actual fabrics, and they give an example with a glove potentially opening the doors for an apple glove that you can control your iPhone in extreme conditions in rain and snow up on the mountain, just an accessory to make your life easier in those situations. I think that would be very neat as well. I would totally buy these and, lastly, I wanted to mention the Samsung Galaxy S 10 I think that Apple is in for an absolute beating with the Galaxy S 10, once that's released later next year. Apparently, there have been a lot of leaks talking about some great features.

It's going to have one of those is bright Knight, so this was found in a beta build of its software, and it's going to be the nitrite feature from the pixel, but on galaxy, basically giving the camera a boost in nighttime environments, letting you take much clearer and brighter pictures. This is just one of many features. This phone is going to get, and it's poised to release in such a perfect time, where Apple is not doing great, so their iPhones are selling very well. They don't have the best features right now. I want this to give Apple a huge reality check with the next generation iPhone to actually put in some great features, some exciting things to get people excited again, not over some emojis or whatever, but anyways there.

It is the latest happenings with Apple the whole bend gate controversy leave your comments about down below, but otherwise, thanks for watching guys, peace.
