Hey everyone- this is done, the rest of the newsreel, and I'm doing a comparison, video of the HTC ten to the HTC. U 11! Now those that have followed me since the beginning know that I'm a big HTC fan, so my love for HTC really took off with the HTC One m8 edition now I had this, both in Android and Windows version, because I really loved the form factor of the all-metal built and you and all these years later, this phone is still a champ. It looks great. My screen is flawless because I kept it protected, but this guy- it's just it's just been a champion. Of course. The boom sound speakers are really set this kind of part of everything else, but anyway, that's yesteryear, stuff, we're looking at these two.
The reason is. The big deal is because I recently unboxed this one that video never went live, but here are some clips that didn't make the fold so the HTC 10 is still a worthwhile investment nowadays. Now, if you can get it on special, that is because it is last year's flagship for HTC I, think it launched around March or April last year. Now this device is still gorgeous. It feels amazing in the hand, I really love the textured power button on this, because you can't miss it.
It might be a little fine for some people, and they might stress them, so they have sensitive skin. But to me, I really love it. The screen is beautiful. The cameras are quick and painless and easy to use, and it's I'm still not used to it, but learn to accept it that booms down is actually separated from the top and the bosses tweeter and bass and which is OK and USB. Type-C is on this guy, of course, just like most of the flash of nowadays, but the best part is that this high-powered headphone jack is on this now.
One of the main differences between this device in the U 11 of course, are in the camera department. The front facing cameras optic is an optic image. Stabilized 5, megapixel, shooter and I actually prefer to the 16 megapixel front-facing found on this. You 11 here, but anyway, back to the HTC 10, so a double swipe on the screen when the screens off, and you can launch the camera, which is pretty cool. So what sets these two? Truly apart by styles of designs of obviously, because we're talking about all-metal here versus a glass back here, I am NOT a glassblowing fan because of my experience with the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge that I've already cracked twice in a year.
This one has a protection, the HTC advantage. So if I were to crack the screen, I can have this phone replaced by HTC no problem HTC smartly removed, auto protection for the HTC. U 11 and, as you seen jury-rigged everything he did, he didn't really high praise this phone and that's why I have been using this phone on and off. I had had some network issues on Verizon where the first two days it worked just fine in the third day, I, don't know where the SIM card wasn't reading anymore on the device. So I switched over to the HTC 10 and it's working just fine, and I took the SIM card into my unlock to s7 edge that I got from Samsung comm, and it worked just fine, and I kept having the network issues here now, I didn't know there was a network settings reset feature here, and I'll show you in case you run into this issue you especially on Verizon, because Roger is not going to be of any help with this backup and reset.
So this is network settings reset feature. Where will reset your Wi-Fi cellular data in Bluetooth settings which I didn't know because I ended up completely factory resetting this device, and I'm setting it all up again. So it's like two new phones in just less than a week, and it's really frustrating for me because I hate setting up my phone, especially when I'm going from one ?, one full manufacturer by Samsung HTC, because they're not exactly transferring my apps data and settings properly. Yes, I bag, our thing up to Google and the respective account, but most of my data isn't carrying over I, have to manually input almost everything and then download over 150 apps that I actually used believe it or not into this thing and I had to do it again. So I am frustrated about that, but the overall impressions of this phone that I've had been the audio quality is pretty impressive.
Its it is more powerful in the HTC 10 in terms of speaker output. Now the sound I put through the headphones is pretty impressive, but the inbox used sonic headphones only work with the U 11. They do not work with the HTC 10, which is a big-time bummer, because that means is proprietary, and I hate proprietary, stuff I prefer between these two, the HTC 10, but where things do get really different, are the HTC 10 of them that I have is on Verizon and the HIT? U 11 that I have is from HTC direct Android, 7.0, Android 7.1.1 reason. It's a big deal is because these two batteries are the same. There are 3000 William power batteries.
Now I was a first concern when I heard that, on a so-called flagship that this is versus the HTC 10, because my impressions of the HTC 10 battery life has not been all that fantastic. Now, these guys have been on for generally on the same time and I actually had a lot more going on the HTC 211, because I'm setting everything up all over again but what's been super impressive, is the battery management on the U 11 I actually fully charged the device before turning it on, and then I turned it on and after trying it on it needed to software updates full software updates from HTC on this device. After that, I ended up installing all of my applications, so it updated 30 apps that were built in, and then I installed just about a hundred other apps onto this phone that supposedly was transferred from another device. I left, all of that installing and the battery dropped 5-percent, which I thought you know what? Maybe because it's new so, and I used it for two days, and I was very impressed with the battery management. It got me to a through a full day's worth of use before I had a recharge and the bank by then it was a 20% which is really impressive, because I really pushed my phone HTC 10 I've been having to Huggle water now and then look at you drop the percentage while we're on the video and the U 11 is still holding steady at 87.
That's also a testament to it because they're both having the same brightness settings and just the battery optimizations on the processor and this and Android 7.1.1 has been very, very impressive, so I'm, a big fan of the U 11 in that department. What's really eating at me, though, is that I it's just a much bigger phone. I am NOT a fan of big phones, especially the bigger they are and more slippery. They are holy smokes listings land on the floor. What they're going to happen to all this beautiful glass I am NOT looking forward to that, whereas this guy taking a couple of beatings- and you won't find a Nick on it, which is really amazing but then again, HTC 10 is considerably heavier than the U 11.
When the KIT my case arrives from sign I'm sure it will make this thing a lot easier to use. The only concern is that now I won't be able to see this because I have a black silicone case. I got for it, and it's just going to cover the whole device up this one uncomfortable carrying with them without cases which also you sign, on the link to the description down below. If you want check out their cases as big and calm and, of course the gimmick, the squeeze I actually use it. Now it is pretty cool.
You can squeeze to take a picture record, a video and such it's just that so every time you squeeze unless you're super, super steady, which is Wow that'd, be pretty impressive, you're still going to get a blurry shot or some jello effects on such as things like. Your pictures or videos at the beginning and at the end, when you're stopping me from recording and such now regarding the camera, you can still have some squeeze functions here, where you don't have to just squeeze one to take a picture you can squeeze in a hold, and then you could swap cameras which is really cool so squeeze in the whole, and you swap cameras in front and back, so that's really cool. It's a part of me with all the noise. This is one of the yoga opportunities that have to record that's what I've been behind on my videos and, of course, I can't control the ambient noise going on and my home office that I'm at today, so I wanted to take advantage to share my thought. These are my impressions of the HTC: u 11, compared to the HTC 10 and with a cameo by the HTC One m8 that I'd so love still to this day.
So like share subscribe. If they don't know, this is on this little newsreel signing out you.
