Hello guys it's Dakota and welcome to another video in this video we're going to have another comparison, this time around, not just between two devices, but three, all these devices can be found in the same price bracket. So if you're considering getting any one of these, this video is going to help you do just that. The first device we have here is the Huawei y8p launched in august 2020 here in Ghana and going for a thousand two hundred and fifty-nine gazettes. The second device we have here is the Samsung Galaxy a30s from september 2019, going for a thousand two hundred and ninety-nine Anna cities. The third one we have here is the Samsung Galaxy 81 launching 2020 of May go for a thousand four hundred and ninety-nine mantillas. So from this, the Huawei seemed to be the lowest price among these, but let's see how all of these fare against each other.
Let's get to the video. So to begin with, let's talk the design when it comes to the design and build all three phones have a glass front and plastic bag, as expected from the price range. All three devices have their power buttons and volume rockers on the right, a single firing speaker, microphone and 3.5 millimeter headphone jack below, but the white app has its headphone jack at the top region. All three phones support the NATO sim card, the 8x1 and 880s having a dedicated memory card slot. When it comes to the fuel, all three phones are comfortable to hold, having almost identical form factors.
Now, let's get to the display, the yap features, an OLED capacity touchscreen at 6.3 inches and a 1080p resolution. The 831 has a super AMOLED capacity touchscreen at 6.4 inches and a resolution of 1080p too. The 880s features a super AMOLED display also at 6.4 inches and a resolution of 1080p. These screens are great and amazing. Calorie production from all three are good.
Deep and rich blacks from the OLED all get bright and colorful consuming media on any of these devices is great. Of course, all three phones come with a dual drop: notch-like selfie camera at the top region. Also, on the display is the in-display fingerprint sensor. This can be found in all three devices, and I must say they all work great, but the yap sensor works a tad bit faster than the other two. When opening your phone, this is slightly faster, and you don't even have to put on a lot of pressure.
It works and it works really. Well. Whilst on that, let's also talk about the face ID, the same story can be found here when it comes to the face ID the white app face ID is so fast. It unlocks my phone so many times before. I even think about using my in-display fingerprint sensor.
So when it comes to security, the face ID and in-display fingerprint sensor, I will personally give it to the yap they do really well, and I, like them, diving deeper into these devices. The yap comes with a Karin 710f chipset. This is an outscore chipset clocked at 2.2 gigahertz out of the box. It comes with android 10, with emu 10.1. It also has 120 gigabytes of storage and 6 gigabytes of ram.
The 8x0s comes with android 9 out of the box, but upgradable to android 10. , with the 1.8 gigahertz outscore Enos, 7904, chipset, 4 gigabytes of ram, and I have here the 64 gigabyte of storage variant. The 8x1 comes with MediaTek chipset android 10 out of the box, with one UI installed. Here you can find a 4 gigabyte, ram and 128 gigabytes of storage, starting with the benchmarks course. You can see that why app scores significantly higher in an tutu in geek bench course, so you can also notice this with the multicore performance.
So you can see the Karin 710f is a little better. Let's try some basic speed tests on all three devices from the results. As you can see, the yap does a good job at openings and run management. The carrying chipset proves its capability over the Samsung devices here. So, when gaming on these devices and performance in general are also handed to the yap.
The animations on there are a little faster compared to that of the Samsung. They are great, but the animations are generally faster on the yap games, run smoother and all when it comes to the batteries. The yap is powered by a 4 000 William battery and comes with 10 watts charger in the box. It normally took me two hours to fully charge. The 830s has a 4 000 hours, William hour battery too, and comes with 15 watts, fast charger in the box and took a few minutes shy of two hours to fully charge.
The 8x1 has an open five thousand dollar William battery and also comes with a 15 watt fast charger in the box and normally takes about two hours, 20 minutes to fully charge. So in this department the 8h1 takes it with a whopping 5 000 William hour battery, which normally took a day and a half in light day usage, the yaps AI battery management ensure longer lasting battery usage and, from my experience, the yap lasted longer in normal day, using normally, I can go to two days without charging. My phone and the a31 also gave a similar result when it comes to the batteries the five thousand William hour battery wins in the 831. For me now, let's talk about those cameras. When it comes to the cameras, the one app has a 48 megapixel main sensor, an 8 megapixel ultrawide sensor and a 2 megapixel depth sensor.
These are AI powered cameras. The 830s has a 25 megapixel main sensor, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide and a 5 megapixel depth sensor. When it comes to the 831, it has a 48 megapixel main sensor, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide, a 5 megapixel depth and a 5 megapixel macro camera from the pictures portrait and night shot. It can be observed that 830s pictures are a little less detailed compared to the other two. The yap produces sharper images during the day compared to the other two, and this can be seen in a nice mode.
Pictures too pictures are crisp and details even in low light situations. I was really impressed with how the super nine shorts turned out on the yap. The 830s has the most colorful pictures among the two for the videos. The three phones shoot at 1080p resolution. These are sample videos when it comes to the build.
All devices are great they're, all made of plastic and all feel comfortable in the hand when it comes to the screen. I'll always take the oled screens are actually really cool when it comes to performance in daily usage, the yap significantly fast, animations everything runs smooth whilst using the white app for the knights' mode pictures. The yap did an amazing job. I was really impressed when it comes to the batteries. The 831 takes that one, so in total I'll go for the yap, which one would you go for? Let me know in the comment section, so this brings us to the end of the video.
