Yeah: let's go that's right! That's right round of the closed round of applause round of applause, what's up guys TK here you're, listening to the Android gangsters, podcast episode, number 5, and I'm just rolling down the street in my sixth fall nervously um, so I am rolling down the road I'm. Getting this 15-minute podcasting with you guys getting back to a daily status, shout-out to mid I got to Miami getting back into being in town and not dealing with I do have some explanation. I will get in with you guys here in the near future. I got a couple of things to talk about. Here's a weird thing: to start a podcast out today. Have you ever been like just blindsided, for you guys I do business, have everything blindsided, but like a business partner, have you ever like? Have you ever had a business partner? Do some some some real? Have you I mean I me personally, I've never had that issue because people, you know people would think you know how do I say it like people I think people know better like we're doing the other, that I've done being from my history and stuff that you don't do that kind of, but yeah man.
If you guys don't know you guys, know I've been in the strip club business for a while. So some of you guys that have been following me for a long time you guys were here when I had jiggles and some other places in Oregon and the club in Miami. So shout out to you guys that have been with me subscribe for a long time, and you know what I kind of where my money comes from, but yeah you know I try to do something else with another family and another partner in another part of Florida and that that went left I, don't know man I want to put it all together and say that it was like on some real conspiracy. Theory like the people I was dealing with, were just oh, my god, ridiculous man, everybody's always out trying to get them and if a full disclosure you know some up, does happen to them. But I don't know man, it's like DEFCON 1 all the time, but so there's a brief explanation.
If you guys are wondering why I like well, how come you know? Why is it that you know you're not dealing with stuff in Orlando or you know up in Central Florida now and that's pretty much why I just I'm cutting my losses so to speak and just moving everything back to Miami. So there's a quick little personal update for you, guys that have been hounding me about it for the last 24 hours, so man lots of stuff going on look the HTC? U 11 is coming out and I and look I haven't even get to see the launch video on this thing. Yet I shout out to Jay Wills. If you haven't subscribed to his podcast I know he uses Speaker as well. You should definitely go check him out and sub to him and the YouTube channel while you're there, because it because you can, you should definitely go.
Do that I with Jay. Will man he's he's uh, not like me at all? So if you're, if you're offended by my language go, listen a because, he doesn't swear on his butt, but in other news the ATC eleven was announced, and this thing is supposed to have a little better by one point like I guess it was something. Eighty, nine and now it's ninety the camera supposed to be better than the pixel. Now here's the thing HTC did manufacture the Google Pixel. So the fact that that phone has one of the, if not arguably the best camera ever on an Android, there's, no excuse why HTC can't bring that to their own flagship phone.
So it's going to be very interesting to see what the actual real-world usage of that phone. You know that camera is that's. You know outside the waterproofing and the specs and all the other stuff I think that's kind of where we're going right, like everything is so mobile. I mean think of everything in our society. How things have changed with the camera right I mean think about it.
Everything that has changed with the cameras' situation with phones is, you know it's down the phone. It's like phones are almost at a level and I said almost because I know someone's going to try to blast me in the comments on YouTube. When this post says video that was going to blast me and say: that's you know: they're, not they're, not DSLR, yet well. Outside the zooming capability. Is the regular just point-and-shoot the ability to get RAW images on a lot of these cameras, some of I will tell you right now.
I can get some cell phone cameras to take better, just straight photos than my Canon 60d, just the one I use it just for photos now so pulling out that it doesn't matter what lens I have on it. I can legit get like a perfect. Sony I, like the new, the Xes or I, could take the Galaxy S8 or the pixel and I can get a better photo with a cell phone camera in and not all cases, but in some cases, then I can with that Canon 60d, that's insane! Now what I'm really excited for, and I thought we were getting there with the v10 and the V 20 from LG was that manual, video controls and all the extra stuff we were getting. You know for video creation on cell phones, because YouTube is huge, even though we've had this hiccup, where advertisers have left- and you know, whose advertiser friendly. Who ain't who gives a? But you know we're at a point now, where that's huge I mean, could you imagine being able to just be like? Let me just throw my Samsung LG Apple, whatever phone it is in my tripod film, something in 4k at 60 frames per second loaded up on my YouTube channel.
Leave from the office use that same phone to make phone calls texts. Do everything else I have to do the rest. That's that, so I mean that's one piece of technology, our smartphones. That is more important than anything else today. It just is I mean who leaves home and out their phones, nobody right and to be able to use that if you're, if you're a video or content creator to be able to get DSLR like footage from your phone, that's huge because now, when you go like so yes, I brought my DSLR to CES, for you guys that were watching some videos from Vegas I noted what videos I did with the Canon 70d and I noted what videos I shot with the iPhone, 7, plus and I believe I.
Had the forget: oh I, had the motor I had the development device of a motor that hadn't been released yet so those were that's what I shot. Most of my footage with at CES, was mostly cell phones, okay, believe it or not. Some of the footage I took on the floor with my iPhone, and it was the other one. I think the iPhone is where I got a lot of the video was because of the stabilization blew my Canon 70d out of the water. It was just insane.
The footage I got at CES, um and live-streaming is now becoming important. So unless Canon or Nikon or Panasonic or Sony comes out with a camera that will immediately livestream to YouTube, guess what I think the SLR is I'm, not going to say that they're going to be in trouble, but you're going to have phones that are going to come out that are going to be sick right, because now you can live stream to YouTube, and I'm, going to tell you why, live-streaming to YouTube, and we'll get into that, I promise I'm going to get back to the HTC, but why live-streaming to YouTube is going to be so huge. Super chat. Super chat. Money right now is so tight money is so tight on YouTube.
When it comes to advertising that you've noticed, you see a lot more people live-streaming and there's people using copyrighted music and live-streaming now. Nobody gives a because now it's super chat: you don't lose that money, because you played some copyrighted music you're going to have DJ's start live-streaming channels on YouTube because they don't care about the AdSense revenue anymore, because now you can get that super chat money and to be clear about it. I mean I, know some people that are doing it now that are making between some live streams are getting. You know between 600 and 800 bucks. You know for an hour or two live streams.
That's pretty good money! That's that's! Perfect YouTube money for the average YouTuber. Okay, that's supplementing now that advertising revenue, because now it doesn't matter if the video gets flagged, and they take the revenue for advertising right because, let's keep it real people are not going back to look at live streams from 3-4 years ago. Okay, you're getting that money in the first week or two in the ads, maybe that month and then that's it. So your make people making a lot more money now with live streams on YouTube than they were just a month or two ago and that's to super chat. Alright, I, don't know, I just went left out.
We started this crazy, I'm, sorry, I went I, went all the way left. Sorry, alright! So let's get into this HTC? U 11 so I mean yeah, I, I kind of feel bad for HTC, because it's not like they don't have the ability to make an awesome smartphone. The pixel is a prime example granted that is Google's phone right. That's Google's phone, but Jesus Christ man, I, don't I, don't understand how like you, it's like getting into a fight right, it's like you're in the club and somebody says something, and you get into the fight with the same dude and that same dude beats your brakes off. You like three weeks in a row, usually by the third week, either you're going to learn some new, and you're going to learn that hey when he goes like this he's going to hit me with that hook and knock me the out or um you're, just not going to fight with that dude anymore.
You know saying how HTC hasn't learned that this that they're doing isn't working I, don't get it I'm it? It does not compute in my brain they have the ability to make the best smartphone in the world. I goddamn if I wish I had the resources, and I'm sure there's a bunch of other smartphone fanatics that are out there. I could do the same thing, but god-damn it. Put me in at HTC for six months and I would manufacturer a phone that would that I would kick Apple so hard in the balls that them their nut sack would be in their throat. I would kill every single, and that means Samsung, ? I know I'm Samsung nights are going to get mad, and I wouldn't even have to have a massive advertising budget for it, because the smartphone that I manufactured and put out would kill everything your TK.
What would you make I would HTC has good just a display technology right, even with the LCD 5, but I'm, not look. HTC I've said this. Multiple times have the opportunity to do it. They have the relationships they can make. It happens.
I. Don't give an if my company manufactured the display I'll go, get a display from Samsung or LG. That's OLED, I! Don't care as long as it's HDR certified I want that new HDR I want to say: oh, is it a Snapdragon 835? How much RAM will that chip support, not because it needs 8 gigabytes of RAM, because I just said it and I foo eight gigabytes of RAM in it, you know I'm, saying how what kind of camera can I get? What's the best frigging sensor I can put in here, and how can I spend three to six months to optimize it, so I know I have the best smartphone camera in the business great. Now we have the frame in the design of the phone now waterproof that and make it the phone that goes the deepest in the water without have any issues and market that is waterproof, not water-resistant. It's just the little things and HTC has the money.
They could do it. They don't even have to advertise I hate, OnePlus, I, hate them as a company. I think they're a bunch of scumbags personally, but you can't with them with what they're doing look, what they're doing with no advertising man, yes, they're, throwing stupid specs in a phone and selling it for cheap HTC doesn't even have to do that. HTC people will pay you seven, eight nine hundred dollars for the phone. If you build the phone, this is a that drives me nuts.
It just makes me want to pull my hair out because I've been dealing with them like they had the Hitman m7 was the m8 followed up. I was like oh, my god. HTC is turning it around. This reminds me of the touch diamond days like the designs coming boom, they're hitting their getting done, and then they come out with the nine and then the ten which was a good phone, but like yeah, you could have done better man. You could have made that a world beater.
You know I'm saying, and now we look like a bunch of with our dicks in our hands, because now we're sitting here and HD kind of dropped, the ball we'll see. Maybe the phone sells good, but HTC has to get a home run like they're, not Samsung, I can put out some mediocre, come back with something better and then like sell like gangbusters HTC does not have that luxury HTC needs to come out with a phone. That's just like the phone call, it the be a be like. This is a V phone call that the phone HTC, the phone, like all this other- can kill them. I know I'm running out of time, guys but I.
Just this makes me mad any major company that has the revenue and the resources the HTC has. There is no excuse, go fire all these with their MBA's and these people that are working for your company, HTC I, know, tear Wang and you guys, instead of trying to turn around but Jesus Christ, there's only so much time that HTC loyalists are going to continue to with you when you keep putting out this mediocre. Now. Look some of these other phones, HCC's released recently have been good they're. Just not there.
You cannot say like this is the best thing. It's an experience. It's that nobody cares. You have to sell them to the mass market and HTC has the prime resources to make it happen. I just wish they were to make it happen.
Oh so, stay tuned, we'll follow up we'll talk, specs we'll do all that tomorrow, on podcast number 6 we'll follow all this up with the HTC. U 11! Let me know what you guys think in the comments below am I right am I wrong. Am I crazy? Maybe I am crazy. Who knows what do you think man HTC has the ability to build a world beater? What do you think is holding them back? Are they intentionally taking losses on purpose I'm, starting to think that way, I'm starting to think somebody in their executive portfolio is intentionally betting against their stock on purpose, that's a whole other story. Anyways.
Let me know what you guys think and thank you guys for listening to episode, 5 of your daily Android gangsters, podcast and until next time, I'll catch you all, later Deep, Nuts.
