HTC U11 Android 8 Oreo Update! New Features & Speed Test!

Hey guys so I was planning uploading. The speeding camera comparison today, but a lot of you really liked the LAB, 30 and adore your video uploaded yesterday. So putting in doing the same thing here with HSE your weapon just downloaded, it needs for a few hours and some pretty good improvements here and also guys it's about a weapon degree, Fahrenheit ?, so I'm, gonna, grease Celsius, so really don't want to go outside and film. The camera portion in that video. So during this video going to go over new features of Angie at Oreo going to do a couple quick speed, those comparisons as well and I. Think most you guys noticed by now, but just a quick look at the Easter Egg, so it did record a quick video of this phone on 87 nougat before upgraded, so I'm going to show you guys quick speed this comparison of that.

So next we have a boot up test, see if it's any faster here on engine 8 Oreo on website or a video at film when I was still a 97 nougat and, of course, on the right, upgraded person, a Jade Oreo. So, so far is a bit faster on the 11. Now the animation, everything on the boot up is exactly the same, but it should be about two three seconds faster here, and you are up there. You go up now in indicate Oreo and yeah bout, two seconds behind there on the nougat version. So let's upgrade us a while to get new features into over that in a second.

But before that guys, real quick, we going to board up some apps co-pastors ponies you so speed is one of the big areas of bonus for improving with the update and have to say guys just from loading up the apps I mean the phone is already insane we passed, but I think it actually may be a tad bit faster now and real quickly and look at the multitasking as well and, of course, will poke bowls. Pitas scammed us comparisons, maybe next week later this week, but so far guys looking pretty promising here yeah all these pretty much. You really can't get any better than this guys and I think this year, when you stop doing a 45 comes out, can I make this? That's a bit harder, probably have like eight games up rather than four but yeah. This is just crazy, fast here, no rebooting at all. Okay.

So now, let's get to the new features. So first off you get some interface changes minor changes. Here we did from a quick video of its own in seven new gear on the left side here. So, as you see, the apps are a bit more rounded on Oreo, which just makes sense because Oreos around the quick settings you used to be actually rewind a bit here, used to be black here now, it's white I think a couple other minor changes there, but not much now, something pretty awesome ear, if you guys don't already know, definitely need to know this, so the access the app to a rather than is pressing a button right here. All you do is you swipe up like this, and you can also swipe down like this just close out of it, but even cooler than that guys if you swipe down like this, brings up a notification bar now, it's pretty awesome because, obviously phones getting a lot bigger.

Now pretty hard access notification bar at the top here, but with this very, very simple, so once again, anyone home screens to swipe up once access the app drawer and swipe down acts. Notification bar next up, something that's new to agitate Oreo in general, is picture-in-picture mode and here's a look at some of the apps that support that. So, for these guys not aware it's basically a way to have a picture rather have a video playing, or it could be something similar like Maps, Google, Maps. Well, hopefully, one day Skype call Assam. Now it's just Google Duo call video call, but this is showing you guys quick example that with video actually picked a different video with a wide screen luck and have a nice ROG bit here for you guys.

So as you see you all, do this press the home button and I have this picture in picture right here so can jagged. Anyone on the screen, of course, can do whatever one to background as well tap on it once to make it bigger and to dismiss it, you could press on the X or swipe down, but even if you dismiss a guy is still going to be in the background here, oops one second guys. So, as you see, did this missive Biden I actually closed out of Chrome still playing here. Next up, we have a new feature, called X launcher, and I'm sure, most guys aware, if you squeeze your phone like this, it brings up an app so, for example, at the cam app, but there's no turn of that that guys, maybe for more so going through your settings. First and then search for edge.

You want to quick here on edge sense click on customize squeeze action. So, as you see, I chrome me at the camera, but instead one quick here on edge launcher so once again squeezing the phone, as you guys see now a lot of apps here on the side. So, of course you can add them a pressing here. You can also press the settings right here and, if you want them on, the other side of screen is swipe to the left like that, but the right and you also the calendar at the table, so it's pretty cool way to be able to access a lot of apps. At the same time now there have been improvements to the battery as well.

So, for example, if you're going to battery usage in the settings, you can now switch between app usage and for device usage, just a more in-depth way to look exactly how your battery's being used, but even more important than that guys. The battery overall is supposed to be improved. Now from what I've heard, it's mostly in the standby mode and of course, what you have to do a battery test to see, if that's true, but generally guys, the Android auto update, is pretty good for the battery life. Also, there are improvements here notification. So, for example, you have notification.

Dots now, so I have a counter notification right there, as you guys see a green pad actually think they're called badges on the HTC greened out there in the top right corner. So if I'm on persona, as you guys, see more options right there and also, if I swipe down here, actually that same notification right here and don't swipe too much to swipe a little like that, and now we have an option here for timer. So it seems that for one hour, but if you own to the icon, badges in the settings, there are more options there in terms of timing, so I'm filming the last portion, this using HIM for pizza, camera or excellent video and audio quality on this. Now, if I miss anything, if there were any features, throw any features, I forgot to mention- please don't know in the comment section below also. Let me know if you have any questions, and I'll try to answer them now.

I do have autumn or HTC. Videos planned, including camera test, speed s comparisons and more so, if you guys, like the video on sumo I, get pressed upon the mail there right in my face press that button there subscribe for more, or you go and press the top left or top right for that video right now, and it's always guys thanks for watching.
