Here is everything what you need to know about Instagram and the Apple Watch and their relationship in a 2020? What you can do with these things and how much you can use Instagram and how well you can get into the functions of Instagram on the Apple Watch, let's begin so. The main question is: what can you do with the Instagram on at the Apple Watch? There is no Instagram app available on that platform. We used to have one. We don't have anymore, so you need to have IG installed on the iPhone which is paired to the Apple Watch. That is the requirement for pretty much anything and the things that you will be able to do with the Apple Watch and Instagram together on the rest include you'll, be able to see all notifications on the wrist, since this applies to every single app that you have on the iPhone, and it gets notification to the Apple Watch. The same thing also applies to the Instagram, so everything including posts, of course, when you turn on and enable post notifications on a certain profiles or even story notifications or anything that Instagram allows you to do, you will receive likes on the rest as a notification.
The same thing applies to followers the new followers, for example, to things when someone tags you in the story or in the post, and pretty much everything that is and can be put on as a notification right on the screen on the Apple Watch and all of this from multiple accounts. So, even if you are using more Instagram accounts on the IG app on the iPhone, I mean in the beginning of every notification you get and receive on at the Apple Watch. There will be the name of the account in the brackets, so you always know ahead which account this notification pertains to, and you better know what's going on, and you have all of that information right on the rest, the notification that you receive also includes some recommendations from Instagram. It's mostly when you're being inactive for a longer period of time, so they try to get you back to using the app they'll. Try to show you some people that you may or may not know- and I mean you're familiar with this, but this can also be displayed on the screen of the Apple Watch.
For all this to work, you not only have to have installed Instagram on it, the iPhone which is paired to your Apple Watch. You also need to have the iPhone. You need to have it in the range of the Apple Watch, because all of those notifications are transmitted from the iPhone to the Apple Watch using Bluetooth and because there is no app specific Instagram app on the watch. It has to rely on at the iPhone plus having cellular Apple Watch doesn't change anything again and there is no specific app, so you always need to be connected to iPhone, even though you can access at the internet without it by the way guys if you are new on this channel. I really do hope that you enjoy this content and I really do hope that you are enjoying what you see and if you want to see more videos like these in the future, don't hesitate and click on the subscribe button.
Now, let's continue with the video, so there are also some third-party apps, which act like Instagram or sort of try to replace Instagram on the watch. I would definitely not recommend this because first, Instagram in general hates this kind of third-party stuff, starting with the tracking followers getting fake likes and followers to these Instagram platforms. Quote-Unquote platforms- I mean they don't like it, so they're not gonna, be happy about the fact that you're using it, and also it's not really working that well if it works at all, I mean, if you find one, I'm not sure if there are out there, it used to be a thing back in the day, but I don't believe that there are any Apple Watch apps which actually do this kind of stuff and do it well. Most importantly- and the last thing I mean this was kind of popular this year and the previous one I mean using the Instagram in the browser of the Apple Watch. Yes, this is still possible, and it is a feature which still works and is available to you, and the way it works is that you simply get the link to the Apple Watch.
If you use notes, or you use text messages, you send yourself an email, probably the easiest way is to simply type in the link of Instagram. I mean you type in instagram. com and send it to yourself as a text message as iMessage, for example, and you just tap on the link and the integrated browser of the Apple Watch is going to open up, and you will be able to access Instagram page, so you literally just type in your Instagram account name and password using the scrabble feature, which is kind of funny, but it works in the end plus you can just hit save the password, and that means that you don't have to type it. In again I mean this also works, and it's still a good way. On the other hand, you want to be able to play any videos, you can only browse photos, but you can open up stories.
Even you can like. You, can take a look at your notifications, your profile and pretty much all of us all the stuff. You would do on the iPhone on the Instagram app, but people also say that if you really need an Instagram on the watch, then you have a problem with the social media. I'm not gonna, go into that, but I'm just showing you how you can use Instagram and what everything you are allowed and able to do with the Instagram on at the Apple Watch. The most probable way of you using that is gonna, be only for the notifications and the things I've mentioned in the beginning of the video, and this is pretty much it.
There isn't much left what I could say to this topic. There isn't any hidden functionality of Instagram hidden on the Apple Watch, or something like that. So now I want to say thank you very much for watching and your support. I really do hope that you found this video helpful and, if you did, what you can do is to subscribe and also support it with your thumbs up that, of course, really helps the channel grow.
