Uh welcome back guys. My name is Alan and in today's make knowledge free campaign, we go about looking at the steps that you need to take in case. Your android phone refuses to start now. Here is basically android device. This is Samsung m30s and if you see on the side, we have the power button and the volume up and the volume down buttons. So I have tried pressing the power button and the device refuses to boot up.
So in this case, what I need to do is there are four methods. The first method is like you, click, or you hold the power and the volume down button together, like to do this for some time until the device starts, maybe a small-time of 10 to 15 seconds, just hold them, keep holding them and like at some point of time the device should get ready to boot. Up now, please do note that for this to work, the device should have some battery in it. So if there is any keyboard or anything attached to it, just remove it just charge it for some time, so that the device has some juice left. At least before you try doing this, holding the power and the volume down button together for a period of 10 to 15 seconds and the device like you see, has booted.
Now, let's look at the next thing that you can do well. The step two is almost similar in this particular case. What you do is you actually hold the power button and instead of volume down now in click, or you hold the volume up button together for some period, and you will see that you will get a different option. So something like this would appear on the screen here, like with the volume down. You can navigate the different controls.
If I can please zoom in you will see, we have option of rebooting the system now returning to the bootloader, applying any update or something like that, but anyways I want to reboot right. So I just want to click on rebooting the system, and then I click the power button for it to be taking effect, and now the system should run. The first step is known as soft reset when we hold the power and the volume down, and this is basically holding the power button and the volume up button for some time, and maybe even this would work. So this is basically the second thing that you can try. Well, if both the methods fail, what you can also try doing is try, like you, know, pressing the phone body from the back side like around this portion.
Basically, sometimes you know maybe due to lose peripherals or something the phone may refuse to boot. Up so just keep on pressing, and maybe what you can do is like you know you have a tissue paper and then do this, so like there won't be any scratches or anything just do this first several times and then try powering the device either. You click on the power button or the power and the volume down button for the soft reset for some time, and then it should work. If your device is the one which has a battery in it, then you may also try to remove the battery then put the battery back and then try. Rebooting but again like most of the time, what has been found is when the device refuses to start holding the power and the volume down buttons for sometimes would really help, and that is the most common problem that is the most common solution to fix this.
Well, I believe that any of these three methods, including tapping the phone on the back, would help your phone like come back to life in case this helps consider subscribing. Let us know in the comment section whether this helped or whether you tried doing something else that actually worked for you when you do that, you actually help the bigger community at large catch me up. When I make my next tutorial, I look forward to seeing you all again. Thank you.
