HOW LONG DOES THE IPHONE 12 MINI BATTERY ACTUALLY LAST? + CAMERAS By Katie KH

What is up you guys welcome back to my channel, as you can see from the title. We are doing a battery test today of the new iPhone 12 mini I've never thought to do this before, but with this new smaller phone, I thought why not put it to the test. I have a pretty busy day going on, so I think that'll be a pretty realistic outlook on it. I just woke up a little ago. It's about 8 30 right now, I'm at 100, and we will see how long it lasts. Me also side note this right here is the new selfie mode.

Looking pretty clear, I would say myself, but also throughout the video you are gonna, get to see a little more of the camera because I'm going to be using it and yeah. Lets uh, let's see how far this goes, I'm genuinely curious all right, so a little update is about almost 10 o'clock. Now my phone is about 95, not too bad. I haven't been using it that much because I have just been getting ready, but I did listen to music while I was getting ready, so there's that I'm about to head out and while I'm working I can't be using my phone just because of what I do. So I would say if you wanted to try this out yourself or even if you're just watching this, try to take into account like how much you use your phone while you're working as well, because that will not be able to factor into mine, because I can't use my phone if that makes any sense, but yeah I'm going to head out, and I will check in a couple of hours all right excuse my red face and this noise in the bathroom.

But it's about 12 30 now, and I just checked my phone, I'm about 85 um. I was doing a little of just like scrolling, while I was in between clients about an hour ago, but uh. I just finished for now. Furthermore, I have like, I think, an hour and a half before my next client, so I'm going to run down and buy some coffee beans and probably maybe try to pick up a couple. Christmas presents along the way if I can find some but yeah we're making good timings.

I feel like especially like with my lifestyle and that, since I can't be on my phone while I'm at work, this like battery is perfect for me, but I also don't want to speak too soon. I'm at work till like 6 30ish tonight, so we'll see we'll see all right. Another little check-in, it's about 3 30. Now my phone is at. I think it's like 70, so I still have quite a bit of battery.

Obviously I haven't been using it that much because I've been busy, but I have a little of time for my next client, so I will probably just watch some YouTube videos or something which will probably kill it a little, so we'll see how that goes, but so far, like I said, like it's doing pretty well all right, I just got off work and yeah. I will check in on my battery when we get home, so we decided that we wanted pizza, so we're going to whole foods to get pizza and yeah it's about 7 o'clock and my phone is on 44 still not too bad. Honestly. How do you feel about it? I feel amazing yeah, so we're going to go, get some pizza, and then I'll probably spend the rest of my night on TikTok, as I do so we'll see how much that drains my battery bye. Okay, so it's been a little it's about 8 p.

m, and I am about 36 down yeah honestly still, in my opinion, not too bad right now we're watching a Christmas movie and eating pizza, and I'm trying to figure out um trying to set up my old phone for the trade-in so just trying to get that figured out and sent in. So I can get my trade-in value and yeah, but I want to show you something that I learned. I was wondering about night mode because I knew they put night mode on the selfie camera and uh. Apparently, it's only on the like, if you're taking photos and not video, but I want to show you how good it is because I'm actually really impressed so like this. Let's go into a dark room, it's pretty dark! It's pretty dark in here.

This is like what you see when you're filming, and then I will put up a picture. This is what it looks like when you're taking a picture like look at the difference. It's pretty spectacular to be honest! So if you're trying to take some selfies at nighttime, this phone has got you. But yes, I just wanted to show you that, because I was pretty impressed with it but yeah all right guys. This is gonna, be the last update for today it is about 11 00 p.

m, and my phone is now at 16, so yep, I'm exhausted. It's been such a long day, um, I'm gonna check in tomorrow and just kind of like regroup and do an overview of how the day went and just kind of like my feelings overall about the battery life and how I think it is, so I will see you in the morning. So, as you saw my battery lasted all day, it didn't even die before I went to bed, which is an plus for me.

My screen time came out to be five hours and two minutes. So most of my usage came from Instagram safari, camera, tick, took messenger, the usual things I did notice, and I this might be the case on, like all iPhones, I've just never noticed, but the camera does like to drain the battery quite a bit. So if you're not doing any vlogging and if you're not using your camera, all the time, that'll get you a little more time. So I was looking through my screen time for the rest of the week. Just because I wanted to see my averages because I didn't feel like.

I was really on my phone a lot like that whole day, because I felt really busy, but it turns out it seemed like I was pretty average. Actually so um the five hours and two minutes wasn't too bad, and then that lasted me my whole battery, so that just kind of goes to show that it will usually last me my whole battery, and like I mean I guess, if you're traveling, or you're out all day, then it's something that you could worry about, but most of the time I'm like within reach of a charger anyways. If I needed it and like with a small phone you're, always going to have a smaller battery, it's just the way that it is, but if you're a fairly busy person with a busy schedule like I feel like this is perfect for you. I know we're all stuck at home and working from home for the most part, but then you're close to a charger, so it really evens out. I mean that's just how I feel about it.

Furthermore, I was going to say that I could totally make another video when I'm off work and just sitting at home all day and see how long it lasts. That way. If you did want to see that I can totally do it, I'd be more than happy to sit on my phone all day for you guys this smells bad. I know I already talked a little about the cameras and I showed you the night mode on the selfie mode, which was honestly very impressive. I'm actually kind of excited about that, even though I don't really know what pictures I'm going to be taking at nighttime, but I just like how like good it is.

Furthermore, I am super impressed with all the cameras. Furthermore, I will say I am coming from a very old phone. So obviously it feels like such an upgrade, but I really do feel like the cameras on these are really top-notch for a phone, especially if you are somebody who wants to get into the YouTube space, maybe or like streaming or things like that. Well, maybe not streaming, because that's a lot of storage but like if anything, filming wise if you're wanting to get to that, and you don't want to purchase a very expensive camera and all the things that come with a very expensive camera. You just want to have like earphones that you use for everything else.

This is an awesome option for that, because look at this quality this is the selfie camera. I could turn it around, and it'd be better. Probably, but like I like to look at myself but yeah, so if you want a cheaper, I guess it's not like the phone isn't cheap by any means, but having a phone having a camera having all the extra accessories instead of just having the phone with a wonderful camera in it.
