How Good are the New TCL 10L and 10 Pro Smartphones? By GetConnected Media

Well there's a new player in town, and it's another Chinese manufacturer you might be familiar with on the TV side, TCL they're, making a big push into the smartphone category, and it's getting interesting now. What is interesting about this is that they've done very well on the TV side. They've basically come in and annihilated everyone they're like the number one TV in North, America, US and Canada. Well, now, they're looking to do the same on the smartphone side, we've got two models here: the new TCL 10 Pro, which John got his hands on before I, could get it and the new TCL 10 l- and these are some I guess. Well priced phones with some good features. Well, I think that's! The key point here is like the TV market.

TCL has come in, and they basically have priced themselves at the top of the heap as far as what people would want to pay for these types of premium phones. This isn't a know, a flagship phone by any means, but it's certainly a mid-range to premium level. Quality phone and the price is ridiculous. Mike's phone is 350, Canadian, 250, US and mine is 700 Canadian about 500 US, and it is a fantastic value for what you get and with the introductory offer. I think this is only going to go for a week when they're, just launching this here in Canada they're going to give you a TV they're, throwing in a TV with the phone.

If you get the pro, and you like Mike, said it's a very small window of time, July 10th to the 16th, you actually will qualify for a 43 inch, TCL 4k TV worth about $300. That is just incredible. It's amazing, I think what's going to happen, and we'll see this coming in the next two years, they're gonna basically come in and try to buy as much market share as possible by annihilating prices. Obviously cramming as many high-end specs into them and given away TVs, it looks like, so I mean they're. Both excellent phones like this one here for 350 bucks is pretty good.

The cameras on here are nice. It's got the four cameras on the back, a 48 megapixel main one. Then they've got an 8 megapixel ultra-wide and then 2 other additional ones, a 2 megapixel macro and a 2 megapixel DET the camera. Overall, you get some great pictures here. It also has a 16 megapixel selfie camera.

The only thing that I wish this had that yours has is a night mode. Yes, this one has a few more upgraded specs. It's got a 64 megapixel main camera again, the quad camera AI next vision system that they have, and so it's a fantastic setup for that it has night mode it shoots in super slo-mo. Does nine hundred and sixty frames per second slow motion, and it also can do an ultra macro, like you can get like centimeters away from your item, and it'll be in sharp focus so other than that you know the screens are beautiful. This one here has thought about a six and a half inch screen haunt on here.

It does have the fingerprint scanner on the back for the security I. Think yours is built right and built into the screen. Yeah. But stealing you know the price 750 bucks and the thing is these: aren't just run-of-the-mill Android phones. These are all running Android ten.

They have some interesting features both of these have what they call super Bluetooth mode, so you actually have the ability to connect up to four headsets or even speakers to play music from these devices. That's fascinating. I haven't seen that before no smartphone. So imagine this you could have for your friends or three friends and you, if you wanna, listen to music as well and as long as you've all got the Bluetooth headphones, you can listen, but the speaker thing is cool right, because. You could have four speakers corner.

If you had a party going, you can have them throughout the house. You could take your speakers with you. You could be like a portable party machine and play to your heart's content, but speaking of music, unlike a lot of smartphones, now it has a headphone jack, which I kind of like yeah I, don't know why that they have to do away with it. Well, you don't really need, though, because you could have four Bluetooth headphones attached yeah this that's kind of the funny thing right: they've got the old in here for the I. Guess the diehards, yet they're pushing the technology with having four Wireless.

You know audio connections at the same time, but overall great features, one feature that I loved on yours: I: don't have it in my camera here you can actually have all three cameras going at once. Yeah, it actually will show you a three up view of all the different modes, so you can choose which camera is the right mode for your ever seen that you're shooting you just tap on the one you like, and it takes you right into it, and you can shoot video or photos that way. Overall, I'm impressed with this first kind of big for an into the North American market, John I know you're going to be doing more of an in-depth review on that to really put it through its paces. But you know I, think they're on the right track, and I'm fascinated to see what happens over the next year as they release more models and get competitive against the big guys, and there have other accessories coming ? down the road we'll be covering those anyway check them out.
