How far can the Redmi 9A and 9C’s 5000mAh battery take you? By YugaTech

What's up guys joey here figure tech and, as you can see, we are driving today, but no. This is not a car review. This video is about two special phones, the Redmi 9a and the Redmi 9c. So today, what we're going to be doing is testing out these two phone batteries, because, as you guys know, both these phones have 5 thousand William hour batteries that are meant to last a long time. These are really robust. Phones meant for hard-working everyday people that need their phones to be running a lot of the time during the day and of course, both of these are now below 5000 pesos.

So yeah we're going to be testing the phone's batteries, but I'm not going to be doing it alone, I'm actually on my way to Justine right now. So what we're going to be doing is we're. Going to have a challenge. Each of us will have one phone, so one of us will have the Redmi 9a. One of us will have the Redmi 9c and then our challenge is to see who can drain that massive 5000 William hour battery first, the Redmi 9a over here is running ways and the Redmi 9c is running Google Maps.

We should be arriving in about 20 minutes or so with the magic of editing. We shall arrive there right now, and we are finally here with Justine, hey guys, Justin here: okay, okay, so yeah. Furthermore, we both have the Redmi 9a and the Redmi 9c here with us, yes, and to give you a quick recap on their specs: okay, both are 6.53 inch, dot drop display, so they're quite tall. Actually there we go so for the chipset. We have a hello g35 chipset for this Redmi 9c and for the red for the Redmi 9a.

It's a MediaTek, hello, g25, yeah, so they're, quite at par in that category and then for cameras. We have a triple AI camera system here for the Redmi 9c, and then we have a fingerprint sensor here. Meanwhile, for the Redmi 9a we got a single 13, megapixel rear camera and for the front camera. I believe they both have the same in that drop notch yeah, so we both have a 5 megapixel selfie camera for this Redmi 9c in the PC marks battery test. This one got 18 hours and 27 minutes yes, and then for our video loop test, we're in we loop a 1080p video on um at 50 brightness with percent volume and with headphones plugged in we got 18 hours and 48 minutes for the Redmi nine eight, the Redmi nine an in the PC mark battery test.

I believe we got 14 hours, 21 minutes and for the video loop test, that's 21 hours and 2 minutes. So that's hell along! So we're doing this because we want to show you how far these phones batteries can go with those 5 000 William capacities, yeah, and we also want to show you guys. We also want to explain to you guys what features these phones have that allow you to get that insane battery life and mind you their prices, their prices, yeah. These phones recently have a reduced price so for the Redmi 9a, it's now priced at 4490 pesos only and for the Redmi 9c. It's 32 gigabytes, plus 2 gigabyte variant is available for 4990 pesos.

Meanwhile, it's 64 gigabytes, plus 3 gigabytes is available for 5 690 pesos, that's a huge price drop already and that's crazy, because that puts both of these phones at a starting price of just less than 5 000 pesos, exactly yeah all right. Now, let's get to the important matter at hand. Let's start talking about the challenge again, but to make things more interesting. What do you think our parameters should be okay? I think we should at least play games on it. So mobile gaming is one yes use the cameras, so cameras.

You have to take a lot of selfies and then definitely media consumption, media consumption watch, videos stream, whatever music or whatever. You want all right, and then you have to at least use the Wi-Fi or mobile data yeah, all right, so, based on that, I'm already cooking up the strategies. In my head of how I'm gonna already doing some things, how I'm going to win this challenge, I have some pro gamer starts already, oh my sleeve, so okay yeah, I'm. Needless to say, I think you guys are going to be surprised about the results of this challenge so be sure to continue watching until the end. The brightness is already at max. So now, let's turn on Bluetooth. Remove the auto brightness. Let's turn on hotspot, because why not then in the settings? I just want to make sure that the phone won't sleep right away. So let's put it on never, and we're good to go hello again guys.

So me and Justine have just parted ways not permanently, but I'm on the way home. Now I have a bit of a drive ahead of me. So during that time I need to drain as much battery life from my red d9a as possible. It's currently 3 31 in the afternoon, I'm at 97 percent and in the meantime, here's what I'm doing so again, I'm using the Redmi 9a for navigation, I'm using Waze it's at maximum brightness, and I'm using YouTube premium. So it has a little pop-up player when you minimize the app.

So I'm also connected to my car's Bluetooth system, so I will be using Waze YouTube, Wi-Fi Bluetooth with maximum brightness all at the same time, and hopefully, by the time I get home, I'm close to 90 percent, okay guys. So I'm still working at the moment, shooting some videos, so usually I'd play some music. In the background- and I thought this is an opportunity to use with the Redmi 9c- I'm going to play some YouTube videos, so it's more power consuming and yeah right now, it's 3 34. And I'm still at 99 percent. But let's see later on, okay, it's very nice for viewing videos, vibrant, really, perfect, all right, all right, all right, boys and girls.

I finally got home it's now, 5 13 p. m. So that was a pretty long drive for me. I left Justine's place at like 3, 30 and yeah. I did what I said.

Furthermore, I would, I used the Redmi 9a for Waze and Bluetooth on connected to the car stereo full brightness and I listened to a podcast on YouTube, and we are sitting at a cool, 84 percent, which is better than I expected it's 5 13 pm I usually start working out at 5 30, that's in about 15 15, 16 minutes, I'm going to prepare for that, and I'm going to be using the Redmi 9a again to track my workout, maybe listen to music, or actually I got an idea. Why don't? I just use the Redmi 9a to take a video of my entire workout and then time-lapse it for the edit, and I think that should give you guys a pretty good idea of how long you can expect to use the camera with the Redmi 9a. So I'll see you in a bit all right, guys, 6 13 pm just finished my workout. We are at 78 on the Redmi 9a, okay update. I just finished watching um music videos on YouTube.

So now I'm downloading asphalt 9 on this. It's already we're just at 82 percent still, and it's 7 14. Oh, my goodness, this is gonna, take quite a while update. It is 8:04 p. m, and I managed to download the Hong Kong impact 3.

That's the game. I'm going to be playing tonight to test out further the Redmi 9a battery, and you know for the challenge. Yeah, I'm going to try playing this game for as long as I possibly can tonight, and then probably going to switch over to watching Netflix before I sleep, and then we'll see then, but yeah. So now, I'm going to play see ya, it's 8 53 and, as you can see, asphalt, 9 is already installed, but I'll just play that tomorrow, because tonight I want to watch some Netflix there. We go.

I've already started with pitch perfect, so I'm going to keep on watching that, just because I miss it pretty much just finished playing Hong Kai impact 3. That was a fun session only a little over an hour, and we've made good progress. I am currently at. I don't know if you guys can see that, but I am at 51 with the Redmi 9a next thing, I'm probably just going to watch some Netflix on the 9a it's already installed. All I got to do is just log in and just probably going to watch until I go to sleep.

So that's my next strategy guys. I already finished doing my nails. It's what time is if it's 10 58. ? This is already the second part of pitch perfect. It is 11 22 pm, and I'm sitting at you guys can see that 30 percent and yeah.

I think I'm going to call it at night. I think I've watched enough Netflix for tonight and now the question remains: am I going to leave like YouTube or something playing while I sleep, I think I've decided that I'm not going to do that. Furthermore, I don't know it just feels kind of cheap, and it feels like cheating. So no I'm not going to turn off the Redmi 9a. As I sleep, I'm just gonna, lock it, and I'll see you guys tomorrow, so it's 11 30, and we're at 54.

I'm just going to leave the display on until tomorrow morning grab it. I just got almost half okay good night. Furthermore, I just woke up, and it's 6 58 am, oh, my goodness. It's already 10, oh no, it's 7 percent, but I haven't even played games yet so tomorrow, later on, I'm going to play games, seven percent. How long can that take me? Let's see, I'm going to turn the screen off now mind you guys.

I just left the display on the entire night until I woke up morning. So it's already 10 50, and we're still at seven percent. I haven't touched it, and it's still stuck at seven percent, which is great, so I'm going to grab some coffee and I almost forgot to take some photos or use the camera, so I want to shoot a video. While I make my coffee I'll, take you with me here we go okay, it's already 10 56, and it's seven percent. The coffee is done, but we are still at seven percent, and it's eleven.

I wonder if joey is already done. Hey there, so I'm going to play some games now on this Redmi 9c, and I'm going to play asphalt.9. , let's go, so it's 11 30 now, and we are at six percent who's in an attention for games. How long? How many games can I play for this? So we're still at two percent- and I already finished about six games on asphalt, nine, and it's 11 36 it guru by 12 or before 12 from opus, NATO or surprise me male 1. Let's see but yeah, I'm going to play some music again on YouTube.

While I work where's that okay sup, so it is the next day it's 11 39. I was not able to record what happened earlier when I woke up, because when I woke up, I just went straight into playing Hong Kai impact 3 again. So that's what I did from around 9:39 a. m. Until now- and we are currently sitting at 27 on the Redmi 9a- pretty good progress.

So now the next thing I'm going to do is well. I gotta get back to work of course, and I do enjoy listening to podcasts, while working, so I'll be using the Redmi 9a for that. But on my Bluetooth earphones and that's what I'm going to do now. I wonder what Justine is doing right now: yeah, it's 11 47, and it's still one percent almost there. So it's finally drained I'm trying to turn it on there's no more battery.

Finally, it's 11 51. ! You see oh yeah, so wow. That was a lot of ours. Um gravity. I think, if I didn't leave it on overnight, I would still have a lot more juice and not everyone's gonna.

Do that a cabin monster storage, so it is now 2 22 pm and the Redmi 9a finally exhausted its battery. I'm curious to see what the result of the challenge is, which who between me and Justine, drained the Redmi 9a and Redmi 9c faster. So in a bit we're going to hop on a call with her see you guys, then we have a call hello hi, so hey joey lay it on me. How are you how many hours did you get um? It's around 20 hours so almost a whole day, but I'm pretty sure that's lesser than what you got yeah. How many did you get 23 hours and 22 minutes? So again, this challenge was a challenge to see who could drain it faster.

So it's three hours more yeah you won by three hours, may ask to get that 20 hours and 39 minutes what strategies did you use? I think the major strategy was the turning the maximum brightness on tweaking the settings so yeah the secret is leaving everything the secret is in the display. Yes, the display, leaving everything turned on overnight when I woke up what is seven percent along, and so because I haven't even played games yet um. Well, I did. I did the same thing. I left the display on maximum brightness and I appreciate the lagging quality and display of these yeah like they're, not the most high-end displays, because these are IPS, entry-level phones, so to say, but they're still IPS and at full brightness and I played indoors yeah, but about my strategy um.

So I met up with you and on the way home on the way home. It was kind of traffic took me a while, and it was okay like at navigation, the whole time, navigation, yeah with Wi-Fi and then Bluetooth to my car stereo. So but yeah you know I played games. I used the camera. I used the camera to record myself working out, and I made it into a time-lapse.

Furthermore, I used the camera for making coffee. Furthermore, I guess you really just did better than I did so. Congratulations, but more, moreover, I'm just in awe, because I think, even if you won the challenge, I think the real winners of this challenge are those who choose to buy either of these phones, because those five thousand William are batteries. We put, we put the phones through a lot and both of us got more than 20 hours of usage out of it. Exactly these two phones are winners yeah and for their price, Abram solid, the price yeah so again guys the price the Redmi 9a has.

It now has a lowered price of 4490 pesos, while the Redmi 9c starts at 4990 pesos, that's for two gigabytes of ram and 32 gigabytes of storage and there's also a three gigabyte of ram and 64 gigabytes of storage variant. That's worth 5 690 pesos! So for these prices and based on what we were able to put the phone's batteries through uh. What sort of people do you think the Redmi, 9a and Redmi 9c would be perfect for this battery? Definitely um yeah. It's a no-brainer yeah, no-brainer non, if you're always on calls always texting, especially then for people who just want to keep on watching videos binge-watching Netflix. It's very good for that, even with its display, because we get a large display here, and it can get very bright as well indoors, so young power consuming in display power consuming for us.

We set the settings to the highest, whichever so imagine what more? What more? If the challenge was the other way around nah, it was a challenge to see who could stretch out the battery yeah.
