Google Pixel 5a 5G Unboxing and First Impression #TeamPixel By Will's Gadgets and More

What's up guys this is will of grills gadgets and more back with another video. As you guys see, I have the Google Pixel 5 a5g in the house, so I have to have sent a huge shout out to hashtag made by google hashtag a gift from Google and hashtag team pixel. I have officially been made a part of chain pixel, although I've been buying the pixel devices for a while now they have officially invited me in, and I'm super sad excited to have this device in hand looking forward to reviewing it and a big shout out again to team pixel man for selecting me, and this is such an honor. So let's talk about this device. Let's look at a few of the specs on this right away, so this has a 6.3 inch OLED display 2400 by 1080 resolution for pixels density of 413 PPI. So this feature is always on display and now playing as well.

This has a 46 20 William battery. It comes with an 18 watt charger in the box. This is going to have six gigabytes of ram 128 gigabytes of storage. This is running the snaps' dragon.765G processor, this has some cameras on the back of it. The rear cameras is a 12.2 megapixel, dual pixel autofocus camera. You also have a 16 megapixel wide camera on there.

Now those cameras on the back are going to be capable of shooting 4k at 60 frames per second on the front of it, you got an 8 megapixel camera, that's capable of shooting 1080 video at 30 frames per seconds. You also got stereo speakers on this. You got gorilla glass 3 on the front. This is ip67 water and dust resistant, and the color of this is mostly black, so I ran through those specs on it pretty fast, but we're going to take a look at this device. We're going to be digging into the next few videos anyway.

So specs are out there. You can go, read them. Let's jump into this box, see what we got. They got some nice pull tabs here, where you don't need an unboxing knife, you just get into it where you fit into it. So we're going to get this off all right, so here's the device whew that looks great man very, very nice.

Looking, let's see what else is in the packaging here, so you get your sim card removal tool there, and you get some literature here. Let's see what else is in this package here, so I guess that is it. You get your um quick start guide here. Meet your new pixel set up your new pixel. You get that information, and then you get your safety warranty.

Regular regulatory guide information there, nothing else in there you get a little dongle here, usb a to type c, and then you get your type c, the type c charging cable there, and then you have your 18 watts charger, and that is pretty much all in the packaging. So pretty nice packaging there we do get a charger. So here's the device, let's go ahead and get this paper off of it- uh not too, not too thrilling there, and that is it. So here's the back of it. As you guys see, you got your cameras on there.

You got your 12 megapixel camera and your uh 16 megapixels, and your flash, your fingerprint sensor here you got a little of branding down here. Uh, you got a light green, I'm going to call that power button there, your volume up and down on the bottom. You got your two speakers secret microphone, the charging port, this side, there isn't anything, but your uh sim card tray right here and then on the top. You got your 3.5 millimeter headphone jack and your microphone right there as well, and then on the front of it. Furthermore, you got your 8 megapixel camera over on the side, and you got your 6.3 inch display, and we're going to go ahead and power this up and see. If there's any power there, it is to boot up.

You got google over there. You see minimal bezels going around here, which is nice 6.3 inch, and while that is booting up, I want to let you guys see the size of it in comparison to my iPhone 12. They should be pretty much the same size. Pretty close. This is a little longer, but uh overall, the same size and as the iPhone.

So this is going to be very manageable in the hand I'm going to go ahead and set this thing up, then we're going to come back in and take a look at some all right guys, so we're back in finally got my information in several hours later. Some things happen, but we're back. This is the wallpaper that you get on the lock screen right here. You're going to get the eight your time, 8 36 Tuesday august the 17th, and you're, going to get your weather and whatever notification you're going to have out here, uh minimal bezels going around here. The 6.3 inch display looks great. This wallpaper is specifically set there to match the color of the device uh inserting lighting situation.

This looks more green than it looks black to me, and this is it. So if you swipe from your bottom right, you're going to get your Google Assistant there. I have set up the fingerprint sensor uh, as you guys see, jump right in, so this is my start stream. If you stroll over you're going to get your Google cards here or Google News or whatever it's called there uh down at the bottom, you got your Google search bar. You can also pull up from the bottom.

If you got apps going as you guys see, uh, let's take a look at what's all installed on here out of the box, so these are the apps that you have uh, mostly google stuff here, Gmail google, chrome, uh, you do have a calendar and calculator in your camera can't wait to check out the cameras on this. You got your settings safety. You do have a recorder there and then, when you swipe down from the top. This is your drop-down menu. Pretty simple, as you guys see, flashlight auto, rotate uh battery saver uh.

You got things like that: nearby share stream record and things of that nature and then, when you get into the main uh settings here, this is what it's going to look like now. I do have this on dark mode, so this is what you're going to get. You got your apps and notifications. Uh there uh! You do! Have your battery percentage, you can go in and set your uh adaptive battery, and you can set your full battery percentage, see how long has been since your last charge. Uh.

You got your display where you can set up you're adaptive. Brightness turn that on off night light, dark themes set your wallpapers styles and uh. You got where you can check your ringtones, set your uh different volumes on here vibration patterns. Here in your settings, you got your storage uh, so outer box. This is using 14.74 gigabytes out of the 128 out the box. I haven't added any accidents, and you got your privacy, your location, security, google accounts, assist accessibility, digital well-being and parental control.

So you can go in and set that stuff up as well. If you need to do that, you got your Google services and preferences your system about the device here. So this is running android 11 out the box uh the android security update, was last down June. The 5th 2021 Google Play Services update January the 1st 2021, so uh yeah man. So this is what we're going to get out of the box.

I can't wait to dive into this device more check out the cameras uh check out some of the other features that this have and then get back with you guys and let you guys know what I think about it: uh yeah excited to be team, pixel hashtag gift from Google hashtag made by google.
