Google Pixel 4a vs Samsung Galaxy S10e - Charge Test

Hey guys welcome back to the channel telecom talks here, so today I'm going to be doing another charge test and this time it's going to be between the Pixel 4a and the Samsung Galaxy s10. So let's talk about the battery sizes on these phones. We have a 3140 William hour battery on the Pixel 4a and the 3 100 William hour on the s10, and we're also using the chargers that they came with in the box. So an 18 watt, charger, 18 watt, fast charger for the Pixel 4a and 15 watt fast charger for the s10, so the Pixel 4a does have a slightly larger bit battery, but not by too much and the s10 does have the slower charger. So I feel like they're, going to tie they're going to be around the same time to charge it up from zero to a hundred percent, but we're going to see in this test. So I have both the chargers here.

I have the Pixel 4a charger to USB c to the SPC, and I have USA to USB for the s10. So we're going to connect these, and I'm going to turn the power on at the same time, so, let's plug them in if I can get this to plug in and let's plug in the s10e one moment. If I can okay and let's get that through there, okay, so I have them both what is going on. I have them both plugged in now. Both the phones are right here, and I'm going to have my phone right here.

It's going to be on a timer right here. Next to both these phones and I'm going to start the timer. Once I turn on the power for these so and three two one, they should start charging yep they're charging. Now, as you can see, these are at zero percent. So let's wait up for the s10e zero percent they're, both at zero percent, and I'm going to be checking up on you guys every 30 minutes and once we're near 100, I'm just gonna wait until one of them reaches a hundred percent, and then I'm going to get back to you guys.

So I guess we'll wait until we hit that 30 minute mark now that we've reached the first checkpoint of 30 minutes, let's go and check on the battery percentage on these phones. So 30 minutes, and we are at 50 right here, as you can see, and on the s10 we are at 50. So it's a tie right. There they're both 50, it's pretty nice um 30 minutes gets you 50, which is pretty good and the battery life on these phones. So far, I've had the Pixel 4a for around a week or so destiny.

I've had it for a year and 50.30 minutes is really great because the battery on these phones, they might be small, but since the screen is small and the resolution is lower, these last you the whole day, so 50 30 minutes is great. For both of these. I guess I'll see you guys in another 30 minutes. We have now reached the one-hour mark and let's check up on these phones, Pixel 4a 85, as you can see right there, 86 and the s10e is at 87, so not a big difference again um. They have almost the same battery size and the Pixel 4a does have the faster charger, so they're, very similar um.

I haven't seen a big difference, as I was looking through these phones one around like the 45-minute walk mark. They were still the same. They go up like one percent, so I feel like they're, both gonna finish at around the same time, like maybe an hour and 30 minutes. I guess I'll see you guys when these phones finish, and we finally hit a hundred percent on the Pixel 4a. So we have a hundred percent right here, and it was at one hour 30 minutes and a couple seconds um.

Now, let's check out the extent real, quick 100. So right as I was starting, this video this is at 99. So I guess right about the same time. A couple seconds. The Pixel 4a did a win by around like 30 seconds or so, but I don't think that's a big difference.

Um still nice, the Pixel 4a does have the bigger battery, but it does have faster charging, and these are both pretty fast an hour and 30 minutes is really nice, especially with these batteries and how long you get how long you get to use them during the day. This fast charging is real, nice, so an hour and 30 minutes, and we got a hundred percent on both of these phones. So I can't give a clear well, I can't give a clear winner and that's the Pixel 4a, but that was by a couple seconds. That's why there's not a big difference, but the Pixel 4a does win so great test overall didn't take too long um. I will be doing more of these, comparing them to the Pixel 4a, maybe the iPhone SE, and maybe the s10 plus just to see how much of a difference there is between that thousand William hour.

So that's about it guys, um! If you enjoyed the vid video, don't forget to like and subscribe and see in the next video.
