So today, I'm gonna talk about my 1-month review of the Pixel 3a starting off with the size. It is a good size to use for small to medium hands and for a budget placement. It is easily reachable when you place your hands on it. Naturally, your thumb already rests in between the power button and the volume rockers, so you can actually reach for it. So you won't have a problem using them for an XL version. It is pretty hard to reach because of the bigger screen.
Now that's just my experience, but if you do have bigger hands, then you should have no problem. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back which I do like and whether I'm using it with my left or right hand, it doesn't matter I can get into it and whole point is I can naturally do it so the way I'm holding the phone. My finger is already rested at that area. So I use a little effort to get into my phone. The screen is something that we look at every day and having an OLED screen on this phone is fine, while I'm watching YouTube scrolling through Facebook Instagram and looking at articles, everything is fine.
I can still read it. Things are still sharp now, if you're coming from a Samsung display the vibrant colors isn't as there it isn't as punchy, but the only thing I have about the screen is the brightness. When I'm outdoors I do want to have a little more brightness I end up using my hand to block out the suns you look at the screen. That's when I noticed that I need more brightness to look at what I need to look at on the phone. The pixel 3 has the 617 chip and I thought it's going to be a slow phone, but it's not it's pretty smooth all the things that normal people do like watching.
YouTube, Facebook Instagram, looking at articles all that stuff is really smooth 95% of time. I, don't see any lag, usually when I play games, that's when I see some lag, usually when it's on a loading screen, but a lot of things. I, do is fine, it's smooth I, don't play hardcore games, but knowing the phone most likely playing for a night, you would see lag. But if you play simple like games most likely, you won't even experience much of it for the camera. Section I might as well-used to fix with a rake to talk about this, and what you're paying for is mainly for the camera.
Camera is basically or almost the same thing as the pixel 30, which is the flagship model. So for $400, this phone can compete with phones that are over a hundred or even a grand phones. It's a tool that we use almost every day to send pictures to our friends and family to update our lives in Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram. So why should you pay a hundred dollars for something that can do almost the same thing or even better? In some cases with half the price, the pixel 3 does have quick charge and while charging this I didn't track, how fast it charges how much it charges I just realized that, after 20 minutes of putting it down, I, see a huge jump in terms of battery percentage. Who is this phone for it's not for a person who knows all about the specs or a heavy user, a gamer? Maybe if you're, even watching this video, this phone might not be for you, so this phone is perfect for parents.
A lot of my friends who's not into technology like I am or this just could be a backup phone for a lot of people out there. All they're going to do was go on social media. Maybe Google a quick question go on Maps. They look at some directions, or you know just go on Yelp and look at some reviews, but things like that. The phone can easily do it smoothly, no problem and for the camera yeah it sucks having one single lens, but for those people they don't care because they're so into the moment.
When something cool happens. The first thing they're gonna, do is take out their phone point out. What's going to happen, upload it to Facebook or Instagram or Snapchat. That's exactly that's all they care about, so they don't need those extra lenses where maybe I should move here, move there, or I should zoom out. Maybe I should zoom in they don't care about that, because they're going to miss the moment.
So this phone is just perfect for them because they don't need all that and to top it all off having it at $400. This has everything what they need in a really affordable price. If I already choose between a three or two three-a I would go with the 3/8, because all the money I saved can easily go for more cases or for accessories or even a battery pack. So that's my one month, review of this phone I noticed that this is a great phone for a lot of people out there. A lot of regular people out there good enough for me, but still there's a small amount of people who loves the game.
This is not for them. So thanks for watching, and I'll see you guys later, you.
