Google Pixel 3 XL vs OnePlus 6: Speed Test Comparison

The pixel 3xl is here considered to be a benchmark amongst android flagships. It brings in the best experience google has to offer, and then we have the one plus six one of the first phones to get the Android Pi update and still the phone to beat when it comes to speed. So, let's put the Google Pixel three excel against the speed demon, the one plus six to see which one performs faster in day-to-day tasks. Before we begin, the test do note that the pixel three excel has four gigabytes of RAM, while the variant of the one plus six we are using has doubled the amount at eight gigabytes, Botha powered by the Qualcomm, Snapdragon 845 processor and the storage is UFS 2.1. We don't consider these tests to be scientific and accurate, but can give you a rough idea about speed and RAM management. Let three both the devices to show you how quickly the pixel, 3 Excel is up and running.

Probably one of the fastest devices to boot. Both phones have been factory said and are connected to the same Wi-Fi network and do not have any app signing in the background. That being said, let's start the stopwatch and begin the test. Let's start off with regular social media apps. Here we see that all the apps on both phones are pretty neck-to-neck as they launch the apps.

At the same time, now, let's move on to a heavy game which is pop G, again they're, pretty close on both devices. Now that want or light a game which is sub a surface moving on, let's go to some productivity apps such as Microsoft, Word and Excel, and this is where we start seeing a few changes moving onto Netflix and then YouTube. Now again, both are pretty similar. Moving on, we have the Amazon app, and this is where the OnePlus X takes some time to load the app of you not sure why and the pixel 3xl moves ahead after launching the criminal app and now Snap seed we didn't, we are trying to render of image. The pixel 3xl is moving ahead over here and launches chrome and finishes a test in a minute and 46 seconds.

Let's try to reload the apps. Now the 1 plus 6 is still stuck 1 Snap seed and is trying to render the image, and here we start seeing some reload issues on the pixel 3xl, while the 1 plus 6 finishes the test in two minutes and a second Microsoft Excel reloads on the pixel 3 Excel Microsoft Word as well, whereas the one plus 6 just blazes through the RAM management round and has every app in memory again. The pixel 3 Excel wants to reload subway surfers again, whereas pop G as well on the 1 plus 6, is in memory, which is a very heavy game. The OnePlus X finishes the performance and the RAM management round in 2 minutes and 32 seconds, while the pixel 3 Excel is still trying to reload pop G objects been finally loaded on the pixel three Excel Twitter is in memory surprisingly Instagram reloads, Facebook reloads as well, and the pixel 3 finally finishes the round in 3 minutes and 16 seconds. So we are basically repeating the entire app opening process to see if the apps are still kept in memory, and here we see that the OnePlus 6 as expected, has all apps in memory, but the pixel 3xl again reload the few sets of apps, including subway, surfers, which does seem quite disappointing.

As you saw, the OnePlus 6 does not reload a single app, including heavy games like pub G and that can be created to the insane 8 gigabytes of RAM that it sports. On the other hand, the picture 3 excel seems to be having a tough day at the office, as if you know that 50% of the apps we use for testing clearly Google seems to be missing out on adding more RAM to the devices and sticking to 4. GB means they're heavily relying on the software to manage things for them, but, as we all saw, it's not really working out that well. This was the issue with last gen, pixel ? as well, and it doesn't look like Google- has learned from the experiences. If you have any suggestions or feedback or if you wish to see more such speediest, something I'd be tried for the first time to let us know in the comment section below and make sure you subscribe, so more such content until next time may the tech be with you.
