Google Pixel 3 XL Unboxing First Impressions | Overlooking the Notch By CJ Unplugged

Oh, what's up YouTube, my name is seated: is ? CJ, nose, tech, where I? Let it talk, tech and anything creative I. Just did a video yeah got a box from Google and pretty much ruined it with the title, but you already know what was in it. If you watch that video, if you haven't yo, hey, go check it out um. Basically, today we're going to be doing a proper unboxing for the pixel 3x l from Google Baby, this bad boy right here, yes BAM and my unbox. The pixel stand as well. Why not? Let me show you what the contents are.

Let's do the proper unboxing on me, but it's going to be as unconventional as I have you are not outro, so they sent me the pixel 3 XL in the white colorway, which I loved. That was my favorite color way out of pixel 3 right there yeah. If you want the pill action, I'll just run that Biro right now. You know the device is a 1. Now I know a lot of people, don't like the design of the notch.

We'll talk about that in a second but like realistically like how light this thing is. This thing is like super light: that's a 1 in a smartphone! If you watched my videos before you know, I love a light phone. The lighter, the better I mean keep that conservative sagging in check it's a clean phone. Actually, when you look at it in person, I think a lot of you need to go out, go to your local Best, Buy, because I think they got them on this way. You know me hope this thing in your hand and check it out fingerprint sensor for those of you who still love the fingerprint sensor.

You still got it they're single camera, we're gonna talk about that camera, to I got I, got samples. ? I've got a day run on this bad boy, been using it running around making sure I'm using this over my other device so that I can get into the user experience. That's why this is going to have a initial first impression, and then we'll come with a review a little later after using it. You know a good run. So, let's get back to the what's in the box, you know I mean you see how I beat my mind.

You know I've been going, so obviously you know that comes in here, you're gonna, get these papers and stuff I guess a sim eject tool and so forth will be inside here Boo ya. Then you got those Pixel Buds. Now these pixel bugs are quite unique. Looking yeah, these are USB headphones, so you who might be upset about the headphone jack going away. You got a pair of headphones that will work with the USB as well as inside the box.

You already know: oh it just fumbled that one right there we got a dongle, so, unlike other companies, we all know who I'm talking about a dongle is included in the picture. Three, so thank you, google, for keeping a dongle for those who use traditional headphones. Then you got the USB a two USB adapter baby mandatory and then the power brick is right here fast charging power, brick you'll, get the USB-C two USB-C chord with the fast charging break. Another thing included that may not be included in other smartphone purchases. Now I want to go ahead and open this up, because I didn't open this yet and I didn't even put this to use.

I will do a separate video, probably about this, getting into what this can do. Because I have to get to know what all it does, because I'm still waiting to get out. My you know. I don't need this, but he knows for the dramatics. You know me calm.

Everybody has a nice beautiful unboxing night. This is my favorite one. I love this thing open everything with it, and this is a fast wireless charging which is dope as well as it has Google Assistant capabilities that get unlocked if you use it. So, let's see, what's all inside of this thing boom it just come straight up ready to go you're on me. So there it is that's a nice weight to it takes a USB.

That's dope! You haven't a USB since that connector has so much speed to it and everything. That's like the goal, so you get another. So I have another USB-C to USB cable, which comes with that and a fast charging brick oh I mean all these fast charging bricks, no I'm saying I mean Google is just giving it up. You know what I'm saying or what I'm insinuating by saying that, but BAM picks up stand right there. Obviously you know I'm going to slide that bad boy right there fast charging wireless charging all day.

Now, let's get into my initial impressions of the Google Pixel 3, because I've been using this thing, and it's funny because I'm coming fresh out of us being my main you, so you know I'm over here, looking face ID, so the gestures with the pics of three are different from iOS. It's a different experience. I will admit that now speaking of displays, this display is beautiful. It is great, it is nice. Oh, that is beautiful on any device now I know they had the issues with the pass over it.

But that's the past. The past is past. We are in the present. This old LED is nice, and that leads me into my other thing to talk about which would be the issue that a lot of people had with this phone up front and I think we kind of made Google a little self-conscious about their nice but I. Think Google, like realistically you designed this phone.

You got the notch in here, embrace it I think you need to embrace it because truth be told when it comes to using the phone with a notch. It's not never I'm used to it. You know: I had the iPhone 10 I got used to that notch, hey the smartest men in the world, but that right there is a notch. iPhone 10s got used to that night, Samsung charger. What same thing with the pixel three XL you just get used to the nice.

You don't even notice it honestly I knew it was Android program, this stuff for the nuts it was over. Man like a lot of people complain anything, but you got to remember like, even if you like, watching video. No video release. Has the ratio to go all the way up to the notch. So the video, regardless of what you're watching it's not gonna, include the night I think instead of joining the crowd, everybody, oh so what's up said: oh okay, oh yeah, yeah I'm not stuck using and find out.

Does it really suck use a device until you can find out? And if you don't have the means to that's what me and all the other reviewers like me are here for it to tell you, like the user experience, what the notch isn't a big deal it is tucked away is hidden. Let's continue. Yummy we went on for good rent on the nacho I mean I just want to give you a more optimistic, realistic, look at how to view the notch on this device. This display is nice. This phone is nice.

The quality build is nice and I'm. Not just saying hey, you know, I'm gonna, keep it a thousand with you now I'm trying to get used to the new Android gestures. I'm, not wonderful, Singh used to, so it's giving me a little speed bump in my adjustment. Switching over from iOS I'm sure over time, I will develop the know. Second, nature of the gestures for the new Android: you know, I mean I, don't know, I didn't have the new Android.

On my note, 9 because, you know it came with Android 8 and uh. There's no telling when the note and I will get the new end. You know where I'm going with this. That's the beauty of pure Android, that's another plus side to the pixel 3. All your updates are in real time, live soon, as Google releases, something new that has anything to do with their Android system.

Guess what you got it immediately. That's like the best thing going with your Android and that's what relates to iOS and that experience. You know. I mean live, update security and all that good stuff coming to you live in full effect. So I love it.

The camera right here is serious. I'm, talking, rear and front I've been playing with that front camera a lot. I'm going to show you some photos. Man I will tell you like lights, ooh I'm. The photos you get out of that boy are amazing.

This is probably like the like I told content maker, vlogging type of camera. Get down laughs your Instagram shitty lamp. This is the phone for you, man, the portrait mode. It's so doing like you, take a picture in. If you click on it after you do it, you see it like analyzing and then eventually it just renders to like what the photo is and what the computer-generated Man sell point I'm talking about these things, they're sharp and now put this into context.

You guys! I, am a see the cameras, you see, the quality I use, Pro consumer cameras, a 6300 for this part right here, so many 873 up there I know sharpness but uh what I like to call for the both. You know me I, know that stuff. So when I see it replicated this good with software, it mans you like zoom in on this thing, man, it is edge to edge sharpness, is this camera is a one. Google got that on lock, man dope, it's so clear and Chris man. This is I, can understand why people regard the pixel cameras as the best camera light.

This is my first pixel devices, my first time using any camera. Now the cameras are good on a note: 9 the iPhone 10s, but it's something about the algorithm with this pixel camera like Google got it right. Remember: Google is a software company so when it comes to how they engineer their software is gonna, be on point, and it only takes one camera on this bad boy to get the job done now on the front you got to move and the reason why you got to is one's a wide angle, which is dope too, and that's kind of the cause of this notch is speaker and two cameras, but honestly the quality you get. None of these front-facing cameras, man I'll, take that not the speakers I'll. Take that dual speakers come on man I'm not dealing with any of these high-end flagship smartphones that they don't have those speakers.

That's it! That's Perry! That's my that's my standard right! There I need those figures. Because I, like watching YouTube content and I, need my YouTube content to come in stereo, so brief overview. I, don't want to make this too long, because I'm going to get into all this stuff deeper. When I do the review? I just wanted to give that initial first impressions from the unboxing to meet using it. You know I mean some real world.

You should honor me. So the build of this device is nice. It's really nice I like it. The display is nice. So nice display nice, build all glass back, got the little color hint I like that.

That shows character here on me. You know I'm all about they're in swag I, like the build of this bad boy. Yes, there's a notch, but software keeps the notch kind of out of your hindering, so it doesn't hinder you to have a notch on the device. Yes, we're looking forward to the day that not just no longer exist it's coming, but we got to be patient. Relax so for now enjoy the devices for what they offer.

Your pure Android experience is a great as smooth it's clean. It works, love pure Android, I, absolutely love it. I have always been a fan of pure Android, and I've said that multiple times, so the pill software on this bad boy is good, I'm still getting another software I'll. Let you know hiccups and my wins on in an initial review- that camera is serious. The camera here is beast, beast mode.
