Google Pixel 3 VS HTC U11 Cameras [VIDEO only] By J. Williams

Alright guys welcome back to another video she manage, so you guys know that I used to love the HTC. U 11 and I just think it's still one of the best phones for shooting video and stuff, like that. So I wanted to put these two head-to-head, and you know, do a quick video comparison in this low-light setting that I have it in I. Don't know how it's going to turn out, but we're going to find out together, and I'm going to match these two up, and we're just going to see you know how they perform in this setting. You know which one's going to have the better. Well, I know the HTC? U 11th, audio is going to be better because right now the pixel 3 needs a software update for its audio, or you know Google's trying to hopefully fix the audio and in something you know like that.

But let's look at front-facing video and rear video, and then we'll see how they match up. I'll do a photo comparison in another video. If you're wondering why I chose to you 11 to do a video with well. This is still to me this. They have single cameras for one and both of these phones have fantastic cameras, front and rear.

That's just a given! So we're gonna, you know, okay, and if you wondering okay, so I couldn't match them up and say: hey, you know which one has the better battery, which one has the better screen. The screen to me goes to the? U 11 now, remember: u: 11 is like a year and a half almost if you've got a year and a half old, this phone just hit the market, and you know okay, so the battery I'll do this, for you can assume you guys might ask the U 11. You know, probably it's a little better battery because of the standby time on the pixel. Isn't that great screen is better on the? U 11! You know a performance is definitely better on the pixel, and I'm, not just saying that it really does run fast. These both have 4 gigs of RAM, though, but sound quality.

You know they both have stereo speakers, but the pixel is a little better because the other speakers, both figures are speakers- are facing you. You know again, they both have 4 gigs of RAM. This one has a 16 megapixel on the front. This one has 2 on the 8 megapixels on the front, and it's good. You know Sam, because these this is an old phone man, but it's still a beast.

It's still good, it's perfect! So you know it's not too much want to get into technically I just wanted to go ahead and run through. You know how these are going to do for video and I. Think the think the 11 is actually gonna hold its own. To be honest, because the U 11 is no slouch when it comes to video and, let's see really how well the pixel is going to do against the U 11. So, let's get into the battle alright guys.

So here is the video sample for the rear cameras. Now I've got just a bunch of different things laid out here, and one thing I can notice for sure. Is that the HTC? U 11, is definitely sharp, definitely crispy, but I think as far as color accuracy, ooh there's spot on that you tell me what you think. Look at that Oh No. How do you think the pixel three is doing against the HTC? U 11 they! Shoo-Shoo 11 has one of the best cameras in the game and when it first came out and again, I use this camera for my YouTube channel.

Look at how it's producing the footage there. Alright, let's switch to the front cameras. Alright folks, so here is the front camera. What do you guys think man? What do you think my squeaky chair? What do you think about this is the U 11 and this is the pixel wow? This is I. Want you to be honest in your opinion, you know saying about how these cameras are performing the HTC? U 11 again has some of the best camera footage ever on a smartphone and the phone is over a year old, it's going on about a year and a half old yeah.

The pixel is no joke. Man I, like the pixels front camera, but how is it doing against the HTC? U Elevens front camera. You tell me alright. Now, I've got it set up if I was gonna. Do a video for YouTube in this setting, and this is right now, the HTC? U 11 here is the pixel right here.

So you know what I'm telling the truth. This is just a setup if I was gonna battle, these phones or something like that I'd be like yo, miss miss miss and yeah yeah, you get it. How do you think its producing these colors? What do you think about the audio? What you think about everything man? What do you think about the U 11 right now in this video setting with low light I mean literally I only have one LED going, and it's up there, it's right up there in the front? So what do you think about the? U Elevens footage meant us I'm, still blown away at how good this camera could perform after all this time, but let's switch it over to the pixel alright. So now, I have the pixel on a little mini tripod and I got them in the same position. So I need to move these up a little because the field of view- and this is right here just so you know this- is shooting at the widest angle, for the pixel- and here is the U 11 over here.

So you know I'm being honest, what do you think about the way to pixel is producing this footage? Yalta Yalta Yalta, doing a review battle battle battle, and you know look at that. Oh, the colors in boom-boom. What do you guys think man? How is the pixel 3 handling this low-light footage? Take a look at the audio I already know that you're going to say the pixels.3 is audio. It's bad, but I did do a quick fix for that. But I can't do that when I'm battling another phone.

So if I was gonna, shoot a video and do a recording there, it is this is what it would look like. What do you guys think about it? Alright, so there you have it. My honest opinion is now again. Obviously the audio is gonna, be better on the u11. But my honest opinion is this: the pixel threes front, camera finally, II know I mean this is a year-old phone, but this phone is still good.

I. Think the footage on there was a little too bright in the phone was trying to process it up too much and the front-facing camera on this phone. The pixel 3 actually held its own and I, really like how it looks a little more natural, but that's not to say that the 11 camerae was destroyed. It's just really sharp on this phone and beauty mode is off of the phone. So don't worry about that, but yeah I mean both of the both of the phone's front.

Cameras are perfect, but I've had to choose in this setting. I think I would probably use the pixel because it actually looks a little more true to life now, as far as the rear cameras go ooh, that's kind of a toss-up remember because I think the pixels cameras are perfect on the rear, and it beats almost every phone in stabilization and things like that. But if you just sit in here shooting it's a close, it's a close race, it's a very close race. The u11 has a better field of view, and so you know the pixel will zoom all the way out as far as they can zoom. You know for video on the rear end.

You know, so the pixel needs a better field of view, but in the end you know saying I think the pixel, you know kind of took a little advantage for color reproduction on the rear, but the I do like the rear camera of the 11 of tab better. But the front camera goes to the pixel 3 audio right now, obviously, is gonna. Go to the? U 11, because I think something's wrong with the pixels that were sent out to everybody like people are buying pixels, and they don't like the audio certainty but for the video comparison. I use all the audio from the U 11, because, except for the part where they were going individually but other than that man, the pixel 3 is, is good. Definitely it demolishes a lot of phones for photos, but for now man you know I, think the u 11 held its own I think the U 11 did much better than I thought it was going to do, and you know the pixel is the cameras.

Only pixel are just ridiculously good man, there's just no getting around it. I really have been enjoying this phone and I thought. The think that the U 11 is still a worthy contender with every phone on the market. For that matter, because you have things on here, the phones still don't have. You know you've got a quad HD display.

You got that 16 by 9 ratio still, and you've got it's still on Oreos, still not getting an update to a PI I. Don't believe at this point, there are no plans to update it to PI, but these both have the 10 nanometers chip. This is just the Snapdragon 835, and this is now a track. A 45 so performance wise battery life is where it's kind of crazy, because the pixel gets good screen on time, but it doesn't have the standby time, so I went through and made some tweaks in some settings, I'm still even sync on but I just kind of did some things in the background and see. If that help- and you see if I can help the batter, because I'm still getting like five to six and a half hours screen time on here, but the phone can't last 24 hours off of it off of the charger getting about between 14 and 17 over.

Here, though, this thing can last will over 24 hours and still get about 5 to 6 hours of screen on time. But you know the camera part of this is what I want to focus on, and I really believe that the pixel 3 has fantastic cameras and I wanted to show it up against a very, very good guy. So you guys know that I love this phone right, yeah I still use it. You know my Center is broken, so I don't use for phone calls about that, but I still use it for like different pan shots, and things like that and different angles on the channel if I need to, but overall man is to do, is to show you the pixel is perfect, because it's matching and beating the which I think really highly of you know. You remember the 11 was the front camera that I bragged about and used for all my channel view.

If you've been following me long enough. You know that this phone right here was my phone, that I used for my YouTube channel for video and everything vlogs everything before moving to a DSLR or mirrorless camera, but the pixel has proved to me that it is extremely impressive and if it can take down the, u Elevens cameras and again, this is just my personal view on this. You might have another phone, you say, oh, what are pixels, not as good as this phone or you 11. It's not as good as this phone I understand. But you hear what you hear what me right now, and this is a phone that I needed to put up against the pixel just to see if it's really, really strong enough and the pixel did its thing, I'm proud of it.
