So far this year, Samsung has released two different tablets and in this video we're going to try to figure out which of these two tablets. You should buy the Galaxy Tab, an 8.4 which ranges from $240 to 280 versus the Galaxy Tab s6 light, which is currently 399 dollars. I'll leave a link in the description below with current pricing and more information. So let's go ahead and get started so when it comes to which of these two have the better screen. Well, they both are 1080p resolution, and you can watch Full HD on apps like Netflix and YouTube, but there are a couple differences. The larger tab, s6 Lite has the auto wake and sleep function where the Tab A 8.4. Doesn't.
The larger tablet also has adaptive brightness and the 8.4 inch appears to have a brighter display at certain angles, but overall it's really close. They both have perfect viewing angles and I. Don't think you can go wrong with either of these tablets, but I would have to give this slight edge to the larger tab s6 light so which of these has better battery life. This one is pretty close as well, but surprisingly, after doing a battery drain test on both of these streaming, video continuously the smaller 8.4 inch version lasted almost an hour longer than a larger tab, s6 light, maybe because it has a smaller screen to power up. It has a slight advantage, I'm, not sure, but both of these tablets are just average when it comes to battery life compared to the other ones.
That I've tested last seen in that 6 to 7 hour range. But if you want the tablet with better battery life, then you have to go with the Tab A 8.4 now, which has the better performance. The tab. Essex's light has four gigabytes of RAM. Well, the Tab A 8.4 only has three gigabytes, not to mention you can get more storage on the tab, s6 light up to 128 gigabytes, where the tab an 8.4. It only has 32 gigabytes of storage.
This is sort of revealed when I did the Geek bench scores which are actually closer than what you would think. The 8.4 inch has a single core score of 272 versus 347 on the tab, s6 light and a multi-core score is one thousand. Eight is one thousand two hundred and ninety on the tab. S6 light. Now, if you want the tablet, that's better for gaming.
Just to let you know neither of these devices are compatible with for tonight. Luckily, they both play games like pub G, Mobile Call of Duty mobile and asphalt.9, perfect, however graphics on pub G mobile, which is the one that I play the most for the tab. S6 light are HD with high frame rates, which beats out the smaller 8.4-inch tablet, which has balanced graphics at medium frame rates. So if you want the better gaming tablet, in my opinion, you've got to go with the tab s6 light now which of these have the better speakers. Well, this is where it gets kind of weird.
You would think the larger tablet would have better speakers, because it's well larger and there's a speaker on each side of the tablet, but the smaller 8.4 inch version is actually louder and sounds better in my opinion, I think that they could be a little better if the speakers were on both sides like the larger one. But if you want the tablet with louder and better sounding speakers, I'd actually go with the smaller tab, an 8.4-inch tablet. So let's say you want the tablet, with better cameras to me, they're both about the same. Neither are that great, especially if you're in low lighting and, if you're looking for a tablet to use for video conferences like zoom. Neither of these are that great, without having perfect lighting, so I would actually call this one.
A tie in this category and besides I would definitely use a cell phone over just about any tablet for video conferences. It's just going to be a lot better camera quality. So after going through each of these categories, you can see there are some things that the smaller tablet is better at and some things the larger one is better at. But for me, I think this is a pretty easy decision. If I had to choose between these two tablets by Samsung I would definitely have to go with the larger tab, s6 light because of the better gaming, graphics and I didn't even mention the s-pen on this tablet feels amazing.
