Before, it was all about the call quality the standby time, how long the phone would last. Nowadays, we want bigger screen, better battery life, better camera and better performance. So in this video I'm going to be comparing the note, 10, plus a $700 smartphone against the s, Tony altar, a $1300 smartphone, so how much of a performance boost and a camera upgrade? Do you really get for spending the extra $600? Let's find out? I broke this video down in two parts. The first half of the video is going to be a blind camera comparison choose between a or B and then at the end of the video you'll find out, which is which and then the second half of the video is going to be a speed comparison. So, let's get started a lot of seagulls out here right now, it's being recorded in 4k at 60 frames per second. So here we go flappers currently recording in 4k, with the ultra wide-angle camera at 30 frames per second, because if I switch, the 60 I can't do that.
So I got this nice Challenger recording with both of the cameras, the front-facing cameras in 4k at 30 frames per second, it's going to do a quick little 360, you know, looks pretty good on both of them. The one on the left, my skin does look like beauty mode is on yeah. It looks much more beautified, while the one on the right. It looks more natural, impersonal, yeah. The phone on the right is not focusing on my face.
If you picked a that was the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 was last 20, ultra ? 20 altar still seems to have some focusing issues. Other note, 10 plus, is pretty much on point. Let me know what you picked and now, let's do the speed test to start it off we're going to do a boot up test. Both phones have been charged to 100%, so it's their first time booting up after reaching a hundred percent, and we're going to see which one boots up faster, and that was the s20 ultra. But the note 10 plus was like right behind it.
Alright, let's go ahead and open up settings. It looked like the s20 ultra Play Store did note, 10, plus YouTube and me. Think that was the note 10 plus there too, you can see the scrolling speed it's similar, but Estonia also looks way smoother, and it's much more enjoyable scrolling on the Estonian, sir, with 120 Hertz, refresh rate opening up gallery. That was pretty much the same class. Well, yell, it's a video game, it's a game and the winner.
It's a tie that was very identical. Next is asphalt 9. This is a more graphically intense game, we're going to see which one loves it Oh faster. So in terms of response like right, when I touch the app the s20 alter, looks like it's a faster to open up the app like you know pop up with the screen, but it looks like the note: 10-plus got the dub here: let's go ahead and jump into a game and show you guys what the gameplay looks like, also which one is going to actually load up the race faster. So from what it looks like the note n plus is like half a second ahead of the s20 ultra next up is crossing roads.
Here we go 1, 2 & 3, very close. The s20 ultra might have been just a little faster, but you know it's not fast enough to make a night and day difference. The next step on the list is Call of Duty, something you all probably know about. Looks like it's going to be a very, very close race. I would expect a stony Ultra to win, but that was actually the note.10 plus the last game on the list is sling drift, and it was identical. Let's check the internet browsing speed, we're going to go ahead and open up GSM arena open up the website and very close in terms of scrolling.
The s20 ultra definitely looks way smoother it's much more enjoyable, like I already said, but on a day-to-day basis. If you haven't used 120 Hertz refresh rate screen, then it's not going to be a big deal for you, because the note 10 plus, is still enjoyable to browse through the internet, with all right. Let's open up the camera apps, and that was the note 10 plus next we're going to check how fast the Wi-Fi speed is. Both phones are connected to the same server and the same 5g Wi-Fi. First ups, the s20 ultra, and then we'll see what the note 10 plus gets, so I'll be back once the scores are in well, the scores are in, and it looks like the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, stronger, Wi-Fi speeds, then the Estonia, as you can see. Alright, the test is almost done now.
The last thing to do is check for the RAM management. Both of these devices have 12 gigs around on the Estonia ultra. You can get the 16 gig RAM model, but this was the 12 gigs, so asphalt 9, and it looks like they both have to refresh the game, but ? 20 ultra did load it up a little faster. It looks like let's try to jump back into Call of Duty and the note 10 + already has it ready to go. ? 20 ultra had to do a little of loading.
Let's go ahead and jump into YouTube. This should be also loaded up, and it is they both are ready to go and there you have it. That was the speed and camera comparison of the note, 10 plus against the Samsung Galaxy s, 20 ultra I think both of them are great phones, but for the extra $600 you're not really getting a lot, as you can see so yeah peace.
