What's, going on a couple of you guys want me to do a camera comparison between the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note 9. Now I thought it would be pretty cool just to see the difference on how much the camera has evolved over time. Now, this video is not gonna, be a very detailed, side-by-side comparison. I basically just went out. There took a couple of pictures, took a couple of bites of samples, and we're going to go over them today and see what the big difference are welcome back to the channel and if you knew, we mainly focus on the Galaxy Note: 4 node, 5, node, 8 & 9. So if you have one of those phones make sure you subscribe to this channel for weekly tech, video, as I already mentioned, I'm not going to do a full detail review between the two cameras.
It's just going to be a 1080p video recording quality, a 12 megapixel picture quality between the two phones. The Iodine has a dual lens with the 12 megapixel camera note, 4 has a 16 megapixel camera single lens and the front-facing camera. The note, then, is gonna. Give you an 8, megapixel and then note 4 is gonna, offer it 3.7 megapixel camera. Well enough.
Talking about it lets, go check out some pictures. So these first pictures that were looking at we went out to eat and have to snap a picture with both of them. The Galaxy Note 4 did a great job when it comes to the details. Overall looks good, but the note 9 just took it out of the ballpark. You can see the details, the picture quality the colors are very bit and that's what the note 9 does is it's able to recognize the type of picture you take in, and it's going to optimize the colors to make sure you get the best visual experience out of the picture, which is something that we can see here with the picture with the Galaxy Note 9 move into this next picture.
We have a lot going on here. First thing: if you look at the rocks the details on the Galaxy Note 9, you can see all the details. Note 4 still be pretty good, but just a deal certain. The details are not there when it comes to the sharp quality you got. Some of the water that is splashing both of the phones were able to pick up the details, but then again a note.9 did a better job. If we move further out the colors again, the note 4 I think, in my opinion, still does a very good job when it comes to the colors, especially when it comes up being this far away.
The note, then, is just going to improve the quality. It's just kind of make it pop up. It's going to make it stand out. Furthermore, it just looks more real, like you're. Actually there now something I forgot to mention that these pictures and videos were taken using HDR mode on both of the phones, something that the Galaxy Note 4 can handle.
Image stabilization when you have HDR I, didn't know that I found that after I was watching the videos at the end, but on this sample you can actually appreciate the colors how bright the display is on both of the phones. You can appreciate the water, the movement again. The node 9 is gonna, do a better job when it comes to displaying that the true colors it looks more vivid have something else to consider the node 9 is gonna. Have the wider angle compared to the node 4 you can see. You can appreciate more of the view here at the details are still pretty good.
Just the node 9, it's going to give you that extra details when you, when it comes to the small items in the picture. This one is pretty interesting. A couple of things to mention here. Of course, the node 9, the colors on the node 9 is they're going to be way better has already mentioned before. If you look at the top canopies covers the green is going to be more vivid, more real.
But if you look underneath the green, you can see the dark spots. It's just way too dark. You can't see inside something that, with the note 4, you can see some details in there I mean, of course, you can, I get a little grainy over time, but you can appreciate it detail something that I did. We did not get with the node 9, but the rest of the details. The node 9 is gonna.
Take it when you look at the wall color just pop out more especially if you look all the way on the back, you got the tree line again that the trees just looked more real. This picture was little weird because, with the node 9 I get the wider angle, I was able to capture more of the building, and the tree line. I was trying to do the same with the node, 4 and I. Just couldn't do that, and it looks a little strange, but one thing that I want to point out here. If you look at the sky, the skyline, it just looks impressive.
With the Galaxy Note, 9 the note 4 it did it a decent job. But again it's when you compared to the node 9. You can see the details at the shades it with the node 4. It just looks like it's a little wash off it's overexposed and in and again the green just continue to be impressive. With the Galaxy Note, 9 all right, let's keep moving here on this next shot.
It was taking on direct sunlight. I was very impressed with what the Galaxy Note 90 I was expecting it to be more blown out like a Cadillac. The note 4 did, but if you can see the Greens the details when the node 9 looks better for me, but again the dark see it just looks. It looks a little too much. It's a little hard to appreciate some details on the Galaxy Note 9th, but on the note 4, you can see more of the details where the dark the shade didn't get too dark on this next shot.
This is a green building here in downtown Dallas, a very famous building because of the wider angle. With the Galaxy Note, 9 I was able to get a bigger shot, a wider shadow of the tree line and more of the skyline. They note for I think did an awesome job when it comes to their quality on this picture. But again, when you compare with the node nine you get different shades of blue. The clouds are more detailed.
You can see the details on the class. It just makes it look more realistic, more real. This next video again had HDR I found out that node 4 didn't have image stabilization here. The node 9 has HDR and apparently was using the image stabilization. Something I need to look into, but again any day is gonna deemed stabilization and node 9 is gonna.
Take it. I was very impressed by the quality. How good is it handles the movement on this next picture? I was trying to accomplish a little of comparison on the portrait mode, which again we already know that the node 9 is gonna. Allow you to adjust the live portrait, so it's gonna, give you the blurry background effect, something that you don't get with the node form of what you're going to get between the two I'm. Not even gonna.
Try to compare them. Another quick example of having the colors how they stand out at first and node.4 looks like it has, did an awesome job. But again, when you look at the node 9, the orange is a little more realistic. It doesn't look, it doesn't look too orange. Yes, as the Galaxy Note 4 and they actually, the real picture, looks more real to the node 9.
Again the details on the sidewalk the details on the buildings back there you get more with the Galaxy Note, 9 node 4 still does an awesome job. This is one more shot of the skyline and again the node 9. Just takes it. I really like how you get the different shades of blue and the Galaxy Note.9 note 4 still do an awesome. Job again looks pretty good, but when you compare it to the node 9, you can see a difference.
A wider angle, then, oh now we're able to capture more of the scenery, something that would kind of like a little with the node for this. Next video is going to offer you a little low life scenario. You can see the node 9 is going to be able to capture a lot more of the details when it comes to low light. Node 4 did okay on the pictures of one thing to mention is I, don't know why, but with the node 4 I always get it's hard to get the colors to be correct, especially if I use dark on RGB bulb with the node 4 I always tend to get a different tone or color. For example.
Here you can see it actually took. The blue is looking kind of perfectly purple with the node 9. It just looks great I mean to what it is it does. It does a pretty decent job. The light was pretty light at night, and it was able to capture a lot of the details.
Now. This is very interesting picture. When I was driving by I noticed that the lights were very warm, so I, let me go put to the side and see what it will look like. So, as you can see that the node 9 looks like he did a more realistic job taking this shot, it does look yellow and I from what I remember. It was kind of yellowish she's, just a warmer color that they had on those bulbs.
I note for did it I might have been a little better job displaying the white balance. I know I, think I like it better, but when it comes to the details, especially when you look back there at the torches sign, the note and of course is going to do a better job when it comes to the details. This is another example and another parking lot with the cooler ball. We didn't look so generation again, I know for you're going to get that grainy shot compared to the note 9 again, if you look at the tree line that note, 4 is just gonna. Look a little blurry and with the node manages that tree line it looks more realistic.
It looks a little morbid when it comes to the colors. Here we got one more shot offers a very dark eye line, and then you got your very bright energy in the middle, and then you got kind of fading out sidewalk. But again, if you just look at a picture from the note 4 without looking at the node now, you will think it's a good picture, very good quality. But when you look at the details, especially on the Sun and something that we have seen on, all the pictures- and all that is just gonna- do a great job when it comes to picking out the details. This was a closer shot again.
Not for did a great job. No tonight is just gonna. Take it any day just looks the colors will look more B bit more realistic. It looks like the note 4 is delivered to it, exposed on the back and on the side of the tree, but overall pretty decent picture quality. This next video again on this one I turn off HDR and I turn on image.
Stabilization they're not for did a better job, but again is nothing close compared to the Galaxy Note 9, the northern just does an awesome job. When it comes to image, stabilization out-of-focus does a great job. He picks up the items right away, something that the note 4. Sometimes it likes a little bitty. It sits there for about half a second to a second to be able to pick up the clear image this last sample that we have is using the front-facing camera.
With the Galaxy Note 9 in the note 4 we already know the node 9 is going to be way better. It does have a way better camera. So this is just a quick sample of the video and pictures you can be the judge. The note 4 still does a good job, in my opinion, for being a phone that was released over three years ago, but a lot to hear what you have to say, guys I've used to own a Galaxy, Note, 4 and thinking about going to node 9. Let me know if you have any questions or and again consider subscribing to this channel, we're always making videos on the Galaxy Note phones.
Thank you for watching make sure to smash the like button. If you enjoy this, and I'll see you on the next one.
