What's, going on guys, ? linear positive check, reviews in the building, Google Pixel for Excel, you're kind of frustrated, because you're gonna getting really, really good battery life on there. All I'm going to show you what I did to get amazing battery life on my phone. It's kind of unfortunate that Google has a 3700 William battery on this phone, which for most people I, think it's going to be a decent battery, but for a lot of people or have heavier users, it's gonna, be not so great experience. I mean first few days, I had the phone battery life was not as good as expected, but I'm going to show you in this video how to get the most battery life out of your phone out of the Google Pixel for Excel in this case, and I'm getting like I'm getting like eight hours of on-screen time now it's lasted me all day and then some, but there's a caveat. You do have to disable a lot of the features that are on this phone I mean if you're, not. If you really don't use the motion sense, what they're calling it and if you really don't care for the 90, Hertz and stuff like because you're going to be disabling a lot to get the same, very life that I'm getting but well go ahead and go into settings real, quick and actually the first things that I disabled on my Google Pixel 4x, and also we're going to go ahead and go to display and, as you can see, I do not have always-on display.
Um and I also have where's the words its I got. Dark theme turned on which, if you do use dark, wallpapers it'll give you extra battery life. I also have, which is this smooth display I, have it disabled, so I'm, not using the 90, Hertz I, don't think it's a big deal. I mean it always it's like on automatic, so it's gonna always drop to 60, no matter what and I think what I'm at right. Now with what the 60 Hertz is.
Fine I, don't think it's a big deal. It's not a deal-breaker for me personally, I think the phone still runs super smooth, and you know the 90 Hertz is not like a main thing, so he couldn't care less the body. That's just me personally, I'm, just showing you guys what I did I might want to get that, so I got to smooth display, turned off I'm, not gonna, get a lot of bad feedback on this video, but oh well. It is what it is, and I'm getting a good battery life, and you can do the same if you like, but the next thing I went ahead and did is I go to location and on their location. You have this right here, which is called Wi-Fi and Bluetooth scanning.
This is automatically turned on by default. What happens is even if you go here, and you turn off the Wi-Fi or the Bluetooth- this is still going to be turned on in the background, so it may look like it's turned off, but it's still running in the background. It's using your location, and it's consuming battery life. So I have these two disabled with boom more battery tricks here. So now that's disabled, and we're going to go to another one where I went to, which is going to be system and gestures.
So in gestures we got the motion sentence, which is like Google's new feature this year and I. Don't think people are getting a phone for this feature. I think people are getting the phone simply because it's a Google phone, and they're, probably and the Google Iko system, meaning that they do have a smart speaker. They probably got some smart bulbs, and they could probably really care less about motion sense because it doesn't do much I mean. Basically, you can just skip tracks and that's about really.
It's I mean they do have a feature where checked reach, to check phone where the radar it's gonna, go ahead and sense. Your hand coming, and it's going to turn on the display which, with me using the phone for over two months, I can tell you that it's always going to have your display turned down. Even if you walk by it. It's going to like light up your display, and it's gonna, just going to run your battery down every time. Somebody walks by your phone, it's gonna, be turns.
It's going to think it's a hand. It's gonna light the display up, and it's going to kill your back I'm telling you're going to get not so great battery life, so I had that disable I got the should display, we're nearby, always on display. I could see that all also when you're nearby the County text you through with the radar. So it's gonna light up. There's B I got that turned off and also the skip song sting motion.
Sense. We can turn it on skip songs. You can turn this on the swipe detection. I mean this is to me, I'm not trying to hate on the phone. But this is to me, it's just it's.
Its gimmicky man I, like I, really its gimmicky as heck. To me. Sorry I, don't use it. You know if you're using this, if you got the cool pixel of users, tell me how many times you've used it, because me personally I think I used it the first year to get out the box, maybe another time after that, and it was over because I couldn't figure out how to pause. Anything so that's like the main thing, so I reverted to the Google Assistant voice, which I can pause, play, skip and even open ab sol to me.
No so I got that disabled um silence, interruptions, buddy alarm! You can swipe away just got your hands like this far away from your phone. Why would you just? Why? Would you want to swipe away? Well I want you to just pick up the phone and jazz. It's just far away you've already utilized 90% of your body to reach over to your nightstand to swipe the phone. You can just pick it up and just you know, so it's another gimmick to me personally. That's how I feel about it.
It's dumb! You know, so you could probably use the Google assistance to stop it alarm. ?! Oh so, yeah I, don't know what Google is thinking this year, but I'm not hating on the phone I just stuff that I just really don't care about I. Don't we see we go back to motion cents, and then we have this one here, I'm going to turn it on for right. Now we turn all of it on. So you guys can sign us interruptions all this is on.
So now this radar is armed. So now the reach ability is like I just mentioned a boy. Is a text your hand, and let me see that's what it does. I mean. Oh my god, you're like this far from your phone.
Well, when you just pick up your phone I, don't get it, but yeah Google thinks it's a cool thing and I think it's parabola, but that's just me, so I got that turned off, and I mean I, don't use it, so I have it I mean I like the fact that it is kind of opens or unlock the phone a little faster because it detects you. So when you pick up your phone, it's already lit up and face all knock. It's like immediate, but it's its not necessary. Like I got my sexy right now, I'll show you. If I pick the phone up, it's not going to turn on because.
That's to me. Sometimes I lay my vote on my phone down, and I pick it up. Just to put it in my pocket. I, don't need to display the light up, so I got all that turned off. I got to always on display.
Furthermore, I was never a real fan of that. So I got that off. On my note, 10 plus also so, if I want to see my phone I got my hands already on it. Man, everybody, you don't need I, just double tap man, and it detects my face and boom. So that's how I've been using my phone I mean it's.
You could push the power button too, and you know I mean it's not a big deal. Man I, don't need my phone to light up before I, even pick it up it. Just to me, I, don't know I, don't see it necessary, so I'm gonna. Let me see where I'm at now, so I got that turned off, and I think that's all I got turned off on the phone. Oh, let me see what else gestures lift the check phone I got that turned off too um.
That's it I think. That's all I have quick gestures. I got that turned off you just stuff that I don't use I got it turned off to save the most battery life at heaven, gala gate we're still at 100% I mean the phone hasn't even dropped, one percent and that's what the display on or just did right now, but it's been on, they got to get off the charge of me about 20 minutes ago. I'll show you guys right here. When did I take this off, it's been off the charge for 26 minutes, and it just dropped.1%, so I have adapted bright battery turned on which kind of it kind of predicts. What you're gonna use, what apps you're using and whatever apps you're, not using it'll turn them off on the background, so they're not using battery life.
So I think this is very important and the phone's been doing good man I'm telling you I mean after I did a little few tweaks and I got the battery just where I wanted, and I'm just using the stuff that I need. The phone is good, overpriced at launch, but right now you can pick it up. $200 off on Amazon, $200, off and Google, Website and I believe you can get like $500 credit towards Google Phi, if you, if you're using Google Phi under Google Phi website, so reasons to pick it up, even if you're, not using all the things that I just mentioned, like the 90 Hertz, you don't care about um the radar, you really don't care about on the phone overall is a good phone, just great feeling phone, it's going to get the fastest updates, and if you pick it, if you could pick it up for about 700 bucks or I, take it so yeah I think a $7.99 for a 128 gig. You know it's an it's a good price, I! Think at that price. Point and I think people that are picking this phone up are going to pick it up because they like the stock, Google and they're in the Google ecosystem.
They got a lot of cool devices. Lying around that guy do I mean I even have lights. The displays speakers I got a lot of Google products throughout the house and yeah this phone there. You guys have it man, the battery? Tick tricks and tips. What I disabled I mean if you're using the 90 Hertz, which people see it I, really don't see it on this one I mean it's, it's fast enough and fluid.
Where I really don't need a 90, Hertz I, don't know to me. This is fine.60 years is fine, then here it is just battery kill. But oh yeah drop a comment. Let me know what you guys think about this video and about my battery saving tips and I. Just showed you guys.
This is Tony jazz, Google Pixel for Excel, it's a good phone. You can pick it up right now. I believe, like I, think it's I can't even remember. Let's go let's go to the website real quick, Google devices. Let's go to our website.
Oh, so yeah! So the pixel for right now is $5.99 for 64 gigabyte versions and let's check this out and the larger brother for xl7 hundred bucks just mind you. This is the 64 gig I think the average consumer will do Griffin, but the 64 gigs I mean you know you. You have on one year, I believe of Google. One cloud service: when you pick up this phone, so you got like one year I. Let me show you hopefully I, don't give oh no information, but it's here you can see.
You had I think this is like $20 a year for 100 gigabytes of storage. So this is pretty good right here. I think I mean. Let me show you guys what I got here, oh yeah. So if you pick up the Google Pixel, 4x or 2 4, you get her gigabytes at no extra cost of storage.
So I think you can do good. With this I mean I got a lot of Google photos backed up I, always back them up. I really don't need to save them to the to Google one, but I do so yeah. You got I think if you can pick up this phone, the Google phones picks a forest is here you have a hundred gigabytes free per year and then, after that, I think it's like twenty dollars a year or something I'm not seen if I can find it here, I think it's like um. This is the current plan.
We see other one shows too much info, but settings managed I think that's it. It was like 20 bucks a year, but anyway, so you got cloud storage just available for you. If you, if you do decide to get to 64 gigabytes for 700, which is a good price for this phone and are you going to get guaranteed updates through the next three years? You're going to get the amazing cameras, so I think it's a pretty good deal at that price. Point I wish they would have started off at that price point. Everyone would have been happy.
Anyways videos have gone a little long drop a comment. Let me know what you guys think about my battery saving tips and about the Google Pixel for Excel at this reduced priced I. Think $2 off is pretty good catch. You gather another one. We out.
