I wouldn't say you need one need to get this phone just because I haven't noticed too much improvement even over the last few generations, but in my case it was worth it because I upgrade every year and this year was like the best upgrade deal yet like um, just to upgrade my phone 95 dollars, and on top of that I got free galaxy bud plus headphones a wireless pad a case and some other little uh thing. Basically, I could sell all that make a profit and I got a new phone, so it was pretty much a no-brainer to do it. We're getting a couple frame drops right here, we're playing at uh times three resolution. I didn't mess with the settings too much.

I just left everything mainly by default. That's what I'm going to do for most of these games just because the average person is not going to know how to change what settings to what. So this is going to be a bunch of games tested out just basically at default, uh default settings, but at times three resolution we'll see this is Super Mario sunshine, if you don't know so, this game runs pretty good as expected. Another game, a game- that's known not to play too well- is the spider-man game here. So we'll give that a shot.

I don't even think it plays good on uh native resolution. If I remember right, it's been a while, I might have to delete the settings when you transfer your data from another phone. Some stuff gets corrupted, so I'm probably going to have to delete my old settings. I don't think I have this map to Wii controls right now. Don't remember exactly what I'm going to need to emulate.

Okay, he did it that lunatic actually did it yeah. It's been a long time since I played this. I don't know if I remember the controls, how do you attack Peter Parker's, the only one who can help me stops loan now he's playing good. I think I got this mixed up with some other spider-man game. This is times three resolutions.

How do you get out of that? I'm going to die all right. Well, that's playing pretty good. Let's try Super Mario galaxy. This is with my old setting Sony. Remember what I added at one and a half times resolution.

Let's see these are the settings I used on my galaxy s.20. I probably have a save file. Let's check it out. Oh my gosh yeah. That's a problem you're going to encounter when you're switching over from so many versions.

For whatever reason, some, your save states, don't work on all versions. I'm I'm not! I don't know why. But it's kind of annoying. This is a long intro, so you might want to skip forward a bit. I don't like editing videos, I'm just going to pause it.

Okay, we're back! I uh bumped up the resolution. At times three um a known problem is uh being able to shoot star bits correctly like forward and to fix that you have to uh go into your hacks. You can do it from in-game. You have to turn off skip EFB access from CPU. That should that'll fix that problem.

Usually, if you don't have that disabled it'll, the star bits will come at you, so that's how you fix it. Oh, foreign! In the past, this has been pretty uh, pretty crackly on uh, lower spec models. I'd say on like the Galaxy S10, which is like two years now. It's crazy this scene right here the sound, would be really crackly. So there are some improvements here for sure foreign.

So, oh hmm, so this game is running pretty good. Let's try some need for speed challenges. My name is mark develop and I race in the toilet Atlantic series. I worked with the team at ea tuning the cars for need for speed underground. I may push the limits of my car on the track, but off it, I drive safely and responsibly save the racing for the track.

If you feel the need for speed just play underground ROG one more time, this game looks pretty good. So far, reflections of water man look pretty, pretty good in this. This is a game I used to have a lot of problems emulating even on uh, just native resolution. This is times three and this is pretty good, no there's a little of stuttering, but it's been all it's been a lot worse in the past, so that's pretty decent. Let's do some PS2 of the colossus.

Let's see if the freaking save states work with us huh they do. Oh, don't want to go down there. Oh, great! Oh, that's what we got save states for. Ah, it still looks like crap to me. I've tested this game so many times and every time I test this scene, I die every time.

I just can't play it long enough to even learn how to even fight him. Furthermore, I used to know how to play this game. Furthermore, I actually beat it, and now I don't remember jack crap. Well, that I'm gonna. Take of that! This is another game.

That's known to play horrendously beyond unplayable. Let's see, if that's gotten any better doubt it's not it's not so much on the hardware side, it's the software like they got to figure this out yeah. This looks like it still has some pixel explosion problems, and it's freezing. Okay, no improvements. There not surprised slide cooper I'll, do some more tests in depth after this, this is just a quick run through on default settings to see how they do just on default.

I did bump up the resolution I'll lower it to see how it is all right. Let's load a save file, yeah usually get it's still pretty common. You, like your very first few minutes of game play you'll, have like the best you're, the best performance you're going to get, but it does it just doesn't. Last too long, usually I like this is actually an improvement. Usually it's like I'm already in the 40 fps range, but it looks like we're in the 50s plenty playable, not too bad, all right, god of war.

Two just remember this is just for performance, I'm not actually trying to like progress in this game. I've already played through this like thousand times. I just want to see how he uh, how the game performs. If I like take damage, that's usually when I notice a lot of fps drops is when I like take damage or there's just a lot of stuff going on the screen. I will make you suffer.

I am, I don't know, what's the circle button on here, because I don't know what I mapped it to so sorry, if I'm sucking, I am the god of war, all right, I'm thinking the x button is a circle. Oh my god. Well, of course, this play is good. Final Fantasy. Ten stay away from this good stutter there.

This game does that sometimes for some reason it's like every game. Every game. Every game has its unique problem where everyone will find us. If it doesn't come soon, you really should. Would you oh hey? Why is he jogging in place? Going to cry again? Huh, you have to you.

Let's do now, let's just check out Zelda wind, water, real quick, so come on, uh do huh foreign, for whatever reason I can't get twilight princess to play anything higher than two times resolution. I'm not sure if I think it has to do with the dolphin version. I'm using right now. There 's's all these little bugs with all these builds. You just kind of have to find the best one for whatever game you're playing this one, I'm using works for most.

It won't work for uh paper Meyer, a thousand-year door and won't do anything higher than two times resolution for twilight. Princess on this build I'll put the build in the video description. I also have a discord channel. I have about 10 dolphins builds on there, a lot of them. You can't, you can't even find anymore.

I don't have the controller set up for this game. I'm gonna start making some more videos for this game. Also, I've been working on it for pretty much the last two years. Every so often I have about like 20 parts and there's a lot of game to go. This is on the way to the fourth boss.

I believe this is a Gerardo desert he's not even attacking uh. This game uh is somewhat hard to emulate. It usually runs. If I'm right, it usually runs good for like the very first few minutes, and then I it is just gets horrible from there we'll see. If that's gotten any better, my bad, I have to, I have to, delete all my game settings just because it's not working with my new phone, so foreign.

So there we go. Oh hey, uh, okay! Well, that's the galaxy s20 for you guys! It's not bad, but I wouldn't say it's worth an upgrade per se. I mean if you're, upgrading through Samsung's trade-in then go for it because it's that's worth it. It makes sense because you're actually you're kind of in a way getting the phone for free. If you sell all the extras you get for it.

So, but if you're like you got like an s 10 even or a one, plus eight or seven you're, probably you're still plenty fine, you don't have to buy the newest greatest phone, I'm just showing you guys. What the newest phones can do, so that's what I got to show you guys for today and um I'll see in the next one.
