What is up guys welcome to the big on box, where we do that small tech in today I'm back with another big on boxing for you for the 1+8 pro, and today we're back with a case from D brand. This is gonna, be the highly-anticipated debarring grip case that was just released for the 1 + 8 1 + 8 pro series, so we're going to check it out. $29.99 is the price point on this one so reasonable, and it's definitely you know a premium case, but a reasonable price point for premium. Kids. Let's put it that way, so presentation, the first thing: you're going to know it looks a nice looking presentation, that's what you get in the packaging, but you'll also get a nice microfiber cloth. That's got a deeper in logo on us to keep that around and wipe it down, wipe it down what we do so we'll keep this around for the installation and uh overall cleaning it up a little for the camera, so you can see a little below but right there, you got that deeper and logo little brandy at the very bottom.

Matte finish now. This is a nice looking presentation from a case company. Usually you know a lot of the'm Michael I as a case review. You don't get a lot of nice-looking quality boxes like this, and I'm gonna. Take my I'm going to take my time and like look at this and kind of enjoy it.

This is a nice presentation from d-plan. It feels like you're actually getting when you paid, for which I appreciate it, but overall just a black box, that's got a nice little magnet right here closes up deeper in up top purchase installation right there, and then you got a little more that yellow popping through here's. The case itself put that to the side: that's pretty much. It will put this to the side as well, but nicely done from D brand with the presentation now. My first impression you can see you got the logo at the very bottom.

Now this is gonna, be one of those cases you can rock with or without a skin, but it's probably made for your skin, so you can throw a skin on the back of it, and it should look really nice and clean if you're not going to use the skin. It's going to have that hard shell black at the very back of it. Now it's not quite matte, doesn't appear to be getting a little of uh I mean it's matted enough, but you're arguing a little more fingerprints than some matte black finish is more like a black, just a plastic finish to it, but then the size is what really differentiates from my the other case. It's got this these ridges on the sides. That's going to give you some really.

Nice grip hits the Navy burn grip, but it is really impressive. The amount of grip that you're getting on the sides really nice the touch premium, feel to it as well, so I'm appreciative of that, because it's a big-boy phone, you take this out of your pocket. You actually got some grip coverage, so very nicely done from deeper in there. Let's check out the actual interior, the case itself got a little of D brand logo right there, and it's got this soft Alc?ntara tight finish to the interior. You can see that right there softer the touch, and it's little fine details that separate this case right now from other cases.

Now they could have let this as a hard shell plastic, but they give you this soft interior to protect the phone itself, which is important to me on the interior of the phone itself, let's store in the bumper itself. You got this kind of like a glossy finish to it. It's definitely decent enough. It's not crazy soft like this, but it's decent enough where you feel like it's not getting any scratches so very nicely done, and then you got full edge to edge protection. The only thing I think is missing is that you have a little cutout right there for the actual alert slider.

Well, some companies will throw a little of a like flimsy material around that lower slider. So I really don't even care about this. They actually did a good job I'm, just leaving an open. In my opinion, so just nicely done: build quality, that's build quality, I should say from D plan. Now, let's check out that black I always try to show it off when I can look gorgeous deep black, let's wipe it down and wipe it down for the camera, make it look beautiful shine it up real nice hate to cover that beautiful black up put that black on black should look really, really nice.

What skin you guys! Can you guys going to get a skin for this case? Are you gonna, just raw ROG it is like this, the skin they got some nice skins out the matrix, I think that did that stop or that matrix one's really nice a couple other ones we'll get to the skins as well? If you guys have a suggestion, throw it up, I'll get as many as I can. Alright, let's check out that black on black, just those really, really clean. Just a nice looking case. Look at that nice looking case now. The camera protection I would've liked to see a little more camera protection.

You can see you just got a little raised edge around its. It is raised you can see that raised edge around the camera, and you see you got that reinforcement. Maybe I'd like to see just a little more when I raise it up just a little more to give you that extra protection around the camera, it's an expensive phone, expensive camera covered up just a little more that'd, be my one gripe, but they do cover this side up as well. So I appreciate that you can see the cutouts look clean and very, very precise, so I give them that across the board, nice camera coverage right there, just not enough around the actual image of the camera trifecta camera. Unless you got to live because everybody does like a fat lip, and you got lip protection nicely protection on the bottom curves in like this and the protection same thing on the top.

It kind of cuts in around the speaker area, which I don't have a problem with. You can see that's how it cuts in just a little around the speaker area right there. Besides, you got the waterfall screen, so you're really not getting a lot of coverage on the sides. It is what it is. You just got to know that going into it.

That's why about the front as well, make it look beautiful, let's check out the. Let me turn it on real, quick here: man, whatever I was going to turn the screen on my finger locked out. So that's what you guys are going to get decent coverage, though lip protection I like it and then volume up and down. You can see those ridges right there nicely done. They feel super clicking, responsive I like what they did there again.

You got these ridges on the sides. Super soft to the touch, cutouts, look good speaker, grille power, looks I'm, good and then power button right there same thing, click button. You can see the little ridges right there. Just those small details make a big difference and then the large slider cut out right there is exposed. That's really the only thing that you got to worry about as the alerts let are being exposed, but if you throw a screen protector on there, you should be good to go.

So a very nice looking case pretty impressed by this one. I'd say: the only thing is the camera coverage could be a little better, but overall I have to say this one's probably going to be a hit from me.29 bucks, it's probably gonna, be definitely worth the price point, especially if you're a person that wants a skin on it and switch things up a little. This is gonna, be a nice case for you, you're not going to have to worry about raw ROG and your phone, you're getting some edge to edge protection, and then you can still throw a skin on there to switch it up just to kind of be different from everybody else.
