CHEAP iPhone 8 Plus Unboxing Mercari Review By Technomentary

Hey guys technoventry here with the super, exciting video for you guys, so I'm going to be unboxing, iPhone, 8, plus that I bought from Macquarie. This was only 200. , and this is pretty much steel buying from this app. It's a risk you have to take, because this app allows anyone to list and some people list their phone really cheap, and that's why I was able to score it for 200, because I know the going price for a used. iPhone 8 plus is around 400 one bay and Amazon. Currently, because the prices of iPhone have gone up.

So in this video we're going to go ahead, unbox this to see what we got in here and if you guys are looking to buy anything off this app, it's called Macquarie. So you can even sell it yourself you're looking to sell something you list it up, get paid for selling it by shipping it out and everything. So, as you see it came in this huge box for iPhone, 8 plus came in ups, took about two days to come, which was pretty fast. The way the seller has shipped. So, let's go ahead and left ready to unbox this. Well, I unbox this phone.

So I'm looking to take the packaging off here a little tougher, because I don't have it through there and take a look inside here. A bunch of white stuff and then looks like the food is right in here. So let's move this box aside and then put under all of this wrapping and you have to put all the padding away and, as you can see here, we have. It looks like a tempered glass included here with the cellar did include a probably a previous tempered glass they used and then the actual iPhone 8 in its box.

Of course, this is a used phone so and this is the gold edition of the iPhone 8 plus, and we see the phone here and then also in the box of the instruction manual, but there are no headphones or, as you can see, that's empty for only two hundred dollars. You know I don't mind that because I can purchase a use or use my existing charger enough headphones. You can get. So, let's take a look at the back condition. As you see, the back condition here looks flawless.

There are no issues with it. Top condition looks flawless as well the left condition and then right as well looks flawless and then the bottom looks flawless as well, and if you look at the front screen, there's no deep scratch or anything like that. This is a used phone. I don't if you can't really see, but there's very light, scratches you can't really see unless you hold it up in a light. So that's the thing.

The only thing else I see here is a little of marking here, but that's fine. So let's go ahead and see if this one powers on, hopefully it powers on. If not, we might have to charge it. Oh, it looks like it is powering on without really an issue. So hopefully we can after we do that we'll go ahead and set it up a couple of tips and tricks guys whenever you guys buying off Marconi.

Of course, first thing download it using the link in the description section. So you get the 30. If you don't use it, you won't get the thirty dollars to spend. The other thing to note about it is that because its individual sellers always look at the seller's profile. So whenever you download the app you'll see on each of the listings, there's going to be a seller at the bottom of sellers information, it's going to say when the seller joined and then some ratings make sure always to buy from a seller that has at least a few rating at the minimum, because if the seller doesn't have any ratings, and they're only listing like an iPhone for a really cheap or any kind of phone for really cheap, most likely their scam.

Don't buy those from those listing, and the other thing to note is that this app only gives you three days to rate a seller rating. A seller means that you got what you uh, what you purchased and there are no issues with it and there's the issue. You're going to have to open up a return request with customer service which, on this app, I haven't done that yet, but it could be a little difficult, so it's almost uh, almost an app where you're kind of risking whatever you buy. It's not like eBay or Amazon, will be paying a lot more from buyer from sellers that sell a lot, and they offer 30 day or 60 day or even a 90-day return policy. This is allowing you within three days after you, I received the item.

You have to rate the seller to say you got what you um. What was listed. That's all and most sellers that have good ratings. You know whatever they describe in the listing. That's what they're going to give.

You can also message them on the app but like you're texting, someone by clicking at the bottom, where it says message: seller, which is pretty cool. If you guys download it you'll see what I mean. So, as you can see, I put the password in for a Wi-Fi. Now, I'm able to start going through the setup step, which here looks like a typical setup step for any kind of phones and then in the latter on this video, I'm going to share with you guys couple ways to verify the phone is genuine, and it's not a fake phone or anything like that. So I'm not going to enter my Apple ID or even set up as a new phone, because I just want to get to the home screen to show you guys that we were able to get to the home screen without any issues whatsoever, and we are almost there and then the display here on that, and we see the welcome to iPhone.

So that's promising, and we are at the home screen- looks like it just blanked out to apply the settings, and we are there, and it's downloading. Some default app and a quick test to verify that this is a genuine phone. This is go to the app store, make sure this is what you get to. If you get to something else, most likely like android or android store or some google store, then you know that's a fake phone because running a fake android version of the iOS which is out there, that's how they use it on the fake phone. So that's good and then couple things I usually like to check is make sure all the buttons are working.

As you see, volume up volume down silent button here, power lock button that works and then home button works and then camera and then front camera and back camera, both works and if we go into settings, you'll see that no one is signed in. So we can sign in to our account, and then we can go check. Take a look at the battery health and take a look. The battery health is at 84, which is fine, because this phone's been around for almost two three years now and since they used it, you're going to have that battery health go down. Apple usually recommends changing the battery once it goes down below 70 or so that's just a way for them to make money kind of give you a help, but if you had to replace the battery uh, you know it wouldn't be, for maybe another at least a year and a half or two years, so you're still got a lot of life in this phone and only for two hundred dollars.
