BlackBerry KEY2 Red Edition unboxing & hands-on: Red is the accent

Hey guys its John be here with phone really. This is a quick unboxing and hands-on video of the black bear key to this is the red Edition, as the name says right there in the packaging. Now this is not really a new handset. The only difference, of course, is the color. Besides the color the paint job, it's pretty much the same blackberry key to that we saw released last year, so here's a packaging, here's some specs on the back here same size, display a 4.5 inch display snapdragon 616, with six view, bytes of RAM, 128, gigabytes of internal storage. You have at the same 3500 William hour battery and the same dual camera system, the back eight megapixel front-facing camera.

So this is a GSM unlocked phone, so it will work with 18, T and T-Mobile. So, let's get this guys opened up here. Edition fancy open this guy up and there we go. That is the red edition of the BlackBerry key. To put that aside, there real quick, see what else it comes with I'm, pretty sure the accessories are the same color.

Well, look at that! Actually, black, yes make sense, but now you have these red headphones that come with it. That's pretty neat see this says yes, standard headphone jack, which is great. You have your USB type-c cable right there, and you have, of course, all the instruction manuals and stuff here. It is the key to and read the right Edition take that off take up the frontier there we go. So let me have this on then we'll go into the phone.

You have just a little, so the red color is nice. It has almost a metallic finish to it. It's not a matte or a polished. Look to it, but now the back here is black, which is kind of a bummer for something with you know something it's called red edition. It would be nice to have I guess the majority of the phone in red, but in this case it's more of an accent.

You can see how it actually accents the physical keyboard here, the key the keys are still black. Everything else or the frame itself is in red button placements- are all the same, identical as before, and that's pretty much it guys I'm going to just turn it on and just show you the software. Let's see if there's anything different there, it feels pretty good in the hand. I do like the finish. Of course.

The textured material in the back definitely helps gives it a good gripping nature. The red collar is definitely striking, but it'll been more striking if it was entirely red. Maybe a red matte finish on the back same textured. Finish would have been nice, but I just don't know why they didn't decide to make the entire thing or the majority of the phone read. So the phone is pretty lightweight.

It's not heavy at all. Surprisingly, keyboard feels really well they're a little raised, but they have really great feedback and response. Okay and there we go. We are all set up, nothing different with the interface there's, no red color theme or wallpaper to match the new paint job. It's the same as you find in the standard key -.

Now. The interesting part is the pricing. This is actually more expensive than the other colors that are been made available. This is $700. You could pick it up on Amazon right now, so the red Edition is 50 bucks more than the other standard colors.

That first came out, which is kind of weird I, wouldn't necessarily say a new paint job would justify a higher price point, but that's the case here with the key ? right edition, so that is it for this video guys.
