Black Shark's neckband is made for gaming. Is it good, though?

This is the black shark Bluetooth, earphone 2. , not sure what happened to the first one, but this is with the model be16, and if you have been around Facebook for quite some months, then you might have seen black shark themselves advertising something called the black shark or widen or obsidian. I forgot what's the exact name, but this is the same product, but just with a different name. So let's take a look at this and see how low latency can he go, because it is once again advertised as low latency wireless earphone, so for black shark to actually claim this earphone to be true. Low latency is kind of okay because remember true: wireless earbuds need to sync between both left and right side, but a neckband doesn't have to so. A quick unboxing here reveals that the packaging is okay and there's also another accessories box.

I'll leave this aside and then, let's take a look at the accessories first, we have nothing. Just some user manual go back inside. I think it tips. Oh, okay. There are ear tips and also a charging cable.

On the other side. I don't know why they want to do this, but okay, the usual one. You got the oh okay, you got three sizes of ear tips here, so you get an extra XS on top of your usual SML. So back to the earphones you can see here, it's pretty difficult to take out yeah the cables go behind the plastic cradle thing, so the neckband here is pretty good in terms of build quality. This thing is super flexible, which is surprising, and I think this thing is also made out of metal.

For this part yeah. It sounds like metal, but this part is definitely plastic. I don't know, what's the whole design theme going on there, so we can see that this little part here has a few buttons. You got the volumes up and down and also a center button, which is very reminiscent of those wired earphones if you still have them and there's also another charging port at the back of this right side of the neckband covered by a flap, also using USB type-c, which is real nice and let's just give it a try. Oh.

As for what I know about this thing, it does have RGB lighting. I think it's RGB lighting, so you can see here you can put both ear tips together, earbuds yeah, both earbuds together, and then it will snap and turn off, and if you take it out apart, then it will turn on by itself. So this acts like an on-off switch, which is good. So, let's give it a try and see how it actually sounds. Okay, so once I wore it, it told me hearing not to sure what it means yet.

So now we have to get back to the user manual because I don't know how to enable the game mode yeah. I don't know why the user manual is wrapped in plastic to power it on or off. They got a big typo here. Power on keep toe earphones, separate power off, keep tall earphones, magnetically attracted yeah typo between two and toe. I seriously have no idea how this is no for non-black sharp phone users.

Please scan qr code on the box in the box to download the app and configure your Bluetooth settings. There's no qr code. Where is the qr code? What so we did some discovery, there's no qr code on the box, and we can't find the app on the Google Play Store or even on their website. There was one page that says: click here to download now, but then yeah, the thing just doesn't work. So, let's straight up jump into the whole audio testing, the audio latency, because uh there's no way to turn on the game mode as seen on the user manual, so yeah, the latency is not the best, still not immediately good, but it's better than most of the wireless audio peripherals out there, as you can hear here.

So as you can see here, the audio delay test using the audio tester app, which is a very simple one. It's about 100 milliseconds, which is okay, not the best but could have been better. It really could have been better if they're, using ethics ll, but then AXL isn't really widely supported from phones. So maybe, if the next generation of this black shark neckband, if they're using apex adaptive like what we've tested before that would be amazing. But let's just jump into some quick music tests here, yeah if you're buying this for music, I suggest you not to it just doesn't sound good.

For some reason the bass is non-existent. The trebles are there, but it's also muffled not sure. What's happening. Maybe they did lower the bit rate just to achieve lower latency in tandem with just being a neckband by itself, uh yeah. If you're buying this for music, please don't and for the price of 99.9 us dollars. There are much better options out there so yeah.

I hope you like this video, we'll see you next time, but this feature is cool though, if you snap it both together, then it will turn off by itself.
