Asus Zenfone 8 Unboxing + Freebies From Pre-order + Specs By Jec Reviews

Hello hi guys welcome back to my channel, and today we'll be doing um. Another tech review of the phone that I just bought on May 30th, but here it is um. It's before, 8 um. I got this three days ago for days four days ago. That is so that's like two to three weeks but again here it is right now um. I honestly used it for a couple of days already um I had troubles filming the whole video, but let's cut to the chase.

Let's start unboxing the phone, and before we unbox the phone um. I just like to share the things that I was able to get upon pre-ordering the um before 8, which is these two things. First, one is JBL go 3, which is nice, because this one is also ip67, which is waterproof and dustproof, and my major mileage, the second freebie that I was able to get is a rhino shield. Um case this one originally retails, I think passing us a dollar, so you just online store that I think it's around one, six or one nine one thousand six hundred pesos or one thousand nine hundred pesos. While this one um, you can check the price of this one for about one five.

Two fives depends on uh store now yeah, so very nice, but I'm not sure if there are still freebies. If you buy the before today or if you might just get the device itself original boxing ASUS before 8. If you could clearly see um, it really highlights the number eight which has a silver gradient color on the lower circle. I believe it's designed like this, because it's their eighth, of course, um release of the before series and um. The main chipset of this android device is actually the newest um chipset that's available for android phone, which is the snapdragon 838.

So this phone makes this a 5g phone because you own chipset, so I'm going to unbox it right now. So upon opening the box, you will get to see a smaller box. That says, of course, you cannot read that originally, but the box says in circle defy ordinary, so I guess they come up with that um slogan or whatnot, because you'll see later on about the five billion. So upon opening this you'll see the um sim ejector tool, then you'll have your manual and yeah your manual and warranty card. I believe yeah warranty card and what's nice is you'll, get to have another case which this one is.

The design is a bit more um not complicated than the rhino shield, but the rhino shield, of course, provides definitely more protection. It's going to show the edges of the phone, the upper part, the lower part, the power button is going to expose it so by the way, rhino shield- it's military great, so I um recommend to highly use it, or I highly recommend using it instead of this one. But if you want to, you know, go stylish with the phone case and whatnot, you can probably use the case all right so upon lifting the smaller box, we'll finally get to see the start of the show, which is before 8 by the way, the variant that I pre-ordered is 16 gigabytes of has 16 gigabytes of ram um internal storage is 256 gigabytes um this one retails for 39.95, so that's 39, 885, pesos um. The difference, I believe, if you buy the um uh the other variant which is um, you know what I'll get back. So that's like twice of what I purchased just for an um additional amount of 5000 pesos.

If you ask me it's worth it because, especially if you're into heavy gaming or into heavy usage of different apps all throughout the day, and if your work just like my work, uses a Chromebook, so I would really be needing to open a lot of apps during my work hours and whatnot on my smartphone so Alan, I actually had it um installed with a tempered glass already and guys. Sob rang hit up Magnus store bent on tempered glass, but I'm going to leave a description or the on the description down below the link to the shoppe seller. That I was where I was able to get the leopardess of the cell phone, so Alan um. If you could see the screen itself, it's actually not curved. It's just flat um.

It doesn't have like the curved edges like the Huawei phones and Samsung Galaxy phones. You can see a very small punch hole on the upper left of the phone, that's the 12 megapixel camera or 12 megapixels um selfie camera on the left side, voil?, it's just plain. While on the right side, you can see there your highlighted in blue power button, which is really cute and nice, because, especially if you bought the black one, there are two colors by the way that's available, um, obsidian black and then there's the silver um. If you have, if you get the black one- and you know if major modeling separating you'll get to see the highlighted blue power button, then there's your volume buttons as well on the right side, while on the lower side of the phone you'll, see a couple of things on there. I'm not sure if you guys could see that USB type-c slot for your charger transferring files and whatnot this one is the same three.

This phone is not expandable um by adding any SD card slot. This sim card 3 would only allow you to insert two sims. While this one is a speaker which is a bit different on the design. If you ask me USB type c slot and beside the speaker, there's a very, very, very small circle, which is your LED notification light and on the upper part of the phone what's nice about this, is you can, you'll get to have a 3.5 millimeter um headset slots yeah? So at the back, you can see dual cameras. Main camera is 64 megapixel um this one doesn't have any telephoto um camera, then the other one is, I believe it's 12 megapixel, um, ultra-wide camera and what's nice about this, is these cameras are actually produced by Sony, so it could produce very great photos.

I'm going to show you some photos later on, while the screen of the before 8 is actually Samsung AMOLED screen so which could also produce a very nice quality, colors or pictures while using the phone, so there um and for the charger as well, because the charger is surprisingly, has a type-c um slot, so there, and it's 30 watts by the way I believe, um what's advertised, is that you'll get to have this fully charged on the phone or the before page, fully charged at 80 minutes.100 at 18 minutes yeah, so um, I'm going to share some photos and video quality with you guys just stand by right. There, uh. Okay, there is no sanctuary an enemy hero has been defeated, yeah, so that's the um picture and the video quality of the ASUS before 8. Um, I'm just gonna, probably share some insights or personal um feedback regarding before 8, because I've been honestly using Huawei devices before which has a very large screen compared to this one. If you can see, this is smaller than my hand, since I believe it's just 5.9, um inches and, what's just surprising for me, is um, um, 16 gigs of ram and the newest um snapdragon chipset on this phone, which is just 5.9 inches. The only struggle that I was having with this phone for the past few days that I've been using.

It is getting used to smaller screen lamp, because I've been using another like six inches phone. I mean more than six inches more than six inches, but I think I'll get pretty much get used to it, because I used the iPhone 8 before, which is a bit smaller than this iPhone 8, it's a bit smaller than this, but um I'll get used to it.
