Apple Watch SE Review - Best Option For Most People!

What's going on guys, it's gene from modern accessory review in today's video we're going to be talking about the Apple Watch. Se, as you guys, probably know, apple, just released the series 6, along with the SE, which I have here today and let me tell you the SE- may just be a better option for most people when it comes to the price, but would it be a better option for yourself? Well, let's find out in the review starting off the physical aspects. Here the SE looks pretty much identical to the series six. You would think that apple would have changed some of the looks, or at least something to the outside of the series 6, since it is the more premium option but nope, it looks identical to the series 5 and the SE. That being said, the Apple Watch SE is only available in aluminum, whereas the series 6 is available in aluminum or graphite or even stainless steel. If you want those higher quality materials for a higher price, and to be honest, I think the aluminum looks perfect and most people don't really upgrade to the higher quality materials anyways, because it's not really necessary.

Now, just like the iPhone SE that was released last year, the Apple Watch, SE is a more affordable option. This watch starts at 249 dollars for the 40 millimeter screen. If you want to upgrade to the 44 millimeter screen, which I have right here, then it will cost you an extra 30 bucks and I would definitely recommend going with the 44 millimeter screen, because it just makes everything easier to see and easier to use with that larger display. We also have an option to upgrade to the cellular feature which will cost you an extra 100 dollars and pretty much. What that will allow you to do is to not have your watch connected to your phone, so you'll receive all the notifications all the text, all of your calls away from your phone so that you don't need to have your phone on you when you have your watch, but personally, I don't think the cellular option is really worth it, because I always have my phone on me anyways.

So it's not really worth the 100 for myself now the Apple Watch Series 6 starts at 399 for the 40 millimeter screen and will cost you another 30 bucks, just like the Apple Watch, SE for the 44 millimeter screen. Of course, you can also get the cellular option with the Apple Watch Series 6, which will cost you another 100 as well. So overall, the price comparisons here, the Apple Watch, SE, is about 130ish dollars less than the Apple Watch Series 6. Depending on what upgrades you get, however, that lower price tag does come with some downsides that you will definitely want to know of. First, the SE does not have an ECG which stands for electrocardiogram and pretty much what this does.

Is it tracks your heart rate and strength? We also don't have the new blood oxygen sensor, the always on display, or that new Apple Watch Series 6 chip that makes the series 6 just a little faster. I have to say, though, that the Apple Watch SE is still extremely fast, so you don't have to worry about anything there, and I think most people don't really need an ECG or blood oxygen sensor, which is why I think this watch, the SE, would be better for most people. We can still do everything else like check your pulse, get notifications from your phone track, your fitness stats, make phone calls and all the useful Apple Watch stuff. But if you are someone that has a heart condition- and you want that ECG for safety reasons- then it probably would be better for you to go with the app watch series 6 since it does have that capability, and I will say that the one thing that I really wish was on the Apple Watch. Se was that always on display, that is on the series 5 and the series 6.

, it's not a huge deal, but it is always nice to see your notifications that pop up or the time without having to flip your wrist all the way over. In order for the screen to come on, like the SE, however, that always on display would dramatically affect the battery life on the SE. So I guess there's pros and cons to everything and right now I am getting about a day and a half of use with a full battery which is decent, but it's not really that great either. I haven't tested the comparison battery life from the series 6 to the SE, but from what I've heard with different rumors going around, the SE may have just a slightly better battery life than the series 6, because of that always on display I'm going over the main features here. The SE has everything in the previous series 5 like Bluetooth, connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC for Apple Pay and the option for the LTE feature.

If you want to pay a little extra, I personally do not have the LTE version. Like I mentioned earlier, and by the way the LTE version is the same exact thing as a cellular version. It's just a matter of names, calling it cellular or LTE. However, I think most of you guys would agree with me that you always have your phone on yourselves anyways, so it's not really worth it to upgrade to the LTE. Now we do still have water resistance up to 50 meters, which means you can go surfing and swimming with this watch without having any worries of water damage, and we have 32 gigabytes of storage, which is more than enough for an Apple Watch.

Of course, there are some apps that will allow you to use your Apple Watch to the best of its abilities. The two main ones will be the watch and fitness app. The watch app is what you will use to set up the watch and will allow you to do all kinds of things from switching the watch's interface to all kinds of cool designs to changing all the settings. Like the notifications, displays sounds and all of that kind of stuff and the apple fitness app will allow you to track all of your basic fitness. Metrics like miles calories, burned, steps, elevation change and all of that stuff.

It's not the greatest fitness app out there, but it is still good, and it's everything that I need for myself, and one thing that apple completely dominates at is how easy they make everything to set up the whole Apple ecosystem. Is extremely user-friendly and won't? Take you a lot of time to get used to all the apple watches, are extremely easy to use and simply pressing on a digital crown. Once will take you to all the apps, where you can do a lot like use a calculator access, your music and switch songs, see your texts, your heart pulse, see your stocks and the list goes on. You can use the digital crown to zoom in and out of your apps, and if you press and hold on the clock face, you can switch between different designs for your display and fun thoughts here. The Apple Watch.

Se is a great option for the majority of apple users, who are looking for a smartwatch that will allow them to be a little more productive. But if you need the best and most up-to-date features like the ECG or blood oxygen sensor, then I would recommend taking a look at this series, 6 or another watch that has those capabilities. It has never been a better time to join the Apple ecosystem because they are starting to release more affordable options like the iPhone SE and, of course, the Apple Watch, SE as well, and of course, if you guys want to check out the Apple Watch SE or the series 6, then I will link that down below this video in the description for the most updated price. But with all of that being said thanks so much for watching- and I will see you guys in the next video peace.
