Okay guys, okay, finally, I am taking a look at the latest from Apple and you guessed it. The beautiful iPhone 10 R, now I have done many a smartphone review and, as always, stay until the end of the video to see what I've dug at the worst feature, but other than that guys. If you want to know more about this beauty, then let's just get into it and first up taking a look at what you get inside your iPhone 10 R bucks, I love how they display the device on the outside I got the coral one and, as you can see in true iPhone fashion, everything looks clean, neat, tidy and very sophisticated. Then you of course get your charging cable in the box, which is USB to lightning connector. Not yet USB see like the iPad Pro, but that's all good. Then you get the charging brick, which is also USB your ear pods, which, although the phone doesn't have an aurochs jack, it does come with a lightning connector.
So you can connect it up to your device and listen to music. No problem, then just some standard documentation and your Apple stickers, a sim door key and then, of course, the beautiful 10r itself in coral and, finally, once again, all packaged in this beautiful box on to the look and feel and the iPhone 10 R is nothing short of stunning. What I really like is the way they colored the aluminum frame to match with the phone, and it is just so beautiful guys. It's got a glass front and back, so it's quite a slippery device, but feels once again extremely premium. It also has that slightly weighted deal which I enjoy, but with the camera I'm, not a huge fan with how it pops up, but it's also not a deal-breaker, then at the bottom, still a very clean design.
You've got your two speakers microphones and also your Lightning charging port. On the left hand, side you've got your ring and silent toggle, as well as your volume rockers. So I've got the Karl one and it is so up my alley. I love how rich the color is, and if that's not in your taste, you can choose from five other different colors. That also look fantastic, so this device has the largest LCD screen on an iPhone ever with a liquid Retina display.
So far, this type of display is only found on the iPhone 10 are and basically with a liquid Retina display. It makes it harder for the human eye to actually see each individual pixel on the display, and although it's not full HD only HD, it still has a magnificent 6.1 inch display that will not disappoint now on to size and for anyone who may be curious or wondering the 10r is actually slightly bigger than the tennis, but it's slightly smaller than the tennis max. So it fits right in between those two devices. I actually think it's a great size. It fits nicely in the hand, and it's super comfortable just so you guys have a good idea of the size.
It's roughly seventy-five point: seven millimeters wide and 150 point nine millimeters long, it's less than a centimeter thick and, like I, said, if it is weighty, so 194 grams, then to compare on the left hand, side we have the iPhone, 6, plus not much bigger than iPhone 10 off and then finally to the right of the Samsung Galaxy s.10 plus, possibly my favorite part about any phone review is the camera and on the front we've got a seven megapixel, selfie cam and then on the back. We've got that 12 and megapixel extruded wide-angle camera, but it's all good I, don't know what it is about iPhones, but there really is something just magical when it comes to their cameras, it captures the most beautiful images, and I was really surprised at how stunning some of these came out. Of course, there are a lot of settings you can go through, and various modes here are some images. I took with the back camera and again, as mentioned, there are just such fantastic shots. I use live mode, but I just found it to struggle to, but sometimes also low-light.
It didn't do too well, but it's still good enough. For me time-lapse is also a great function, but unfortunately it doesn't have various speeds that you can choose from, but quality is so great and then on to the slo-mo videos, so much fun as always and I love that it captures the sound with the slo-mos I. Think that is awesome. It can film your slo-mo videos in Full HD, and you can also choose between 120 frames or 240 frames per second. At the end of the day, there is no doubt you can get some amazing pictures with this phone onto the software and, if you're a previous iPhone user you'll know what to expect everything is more or less the same.
But if you're new to iPhone there are some pretty cool features like the zoom one, where you can zoom in anywhere on your iPhone, no matter what screen or app you in as well as one handed mode, so it makes it easier to navigate your phone literally just using one hand. Recent applications can also be toggled through very easily and exited with ease. So there are some really great functions. The control panel can also be accessed with absolute ease, and you can toggle various things on and off here change the brightness of your screen, all your kind of standard stuff that you've come to recognize in the control panel. But ultimately this is kind of the same user interface that we've seen for years.
The iPhone 10 oz battery is not massive, but the software supports great battery life because of how it's been optimized. So it's just under 3000 William hours, but interestingly, has more William hours than the iPhone 10s. As you guys well know it charges by a lightning, cable and in fact, iPhone just brought out an 18 watt charging, brick, which is epic. It also supports fast charging, as well as wireless charging. Yay, then on to some other features, and as you see, this is where the SIM door is opened for you to place your sim in.
Unfortunately, of course, as you know, it can't hold external memory, so no external SD card. However, it is ip67 rated, so it can withstand water up to one meter as well as splashes, as I mentioned at the beginning of the video. The ear pods do come with a lightning connector, which is awesome. I thought you'd have to buy an adapter, but you don't it's all good. Finally, guys on to what I dub the worst thing about this phone.
It's not necessarily software, but it's the customizability of the software, if that makes sense, I just don't like that. I can't get custom, icon, packs or really change the home screen grid and how everything works there, or customize the widgets or have always-on display things like that. I just feel like iPhone lacks in those areas, and it frustrates me because I want things to look a certain way or be in a certain area and I just feel limited when it comes to iPhone. That's just my personal opinion, but in terms of the build the quality it is such a premium device and everything you would expect from Apple and iPhone, and that is it for this video guys. I really hope you enjoyed it.
If you did please no more than welcome to like and subscribe, you can also check out some of my other device reviews or over here, but guys. Thank you. So much for watching, and I'll see you in the next one Oh.
