Apple iPhone SE Silicone & Leather Cases Review! Worth It? By Daniel Romero

Hey guys, what's up Dale here today, we're taking a look at the iPhone SE, silicone case and leather case, silicone case retails for 35 leather case retails for $45. Let's go ahead and open this and check this out on the back. It does say that it works for the iPhone 7 and for the iPhone 8, of course. So if you're looking for a new case, and you're curious about whether it works, then yes, it definitely does work without an issue, and you'll be able to put it on. So, let's just go ahead and open both of these. This one is always a little hard.

There. We go and pull this case out. Nothing really special in either of the packages, just the cases themselves, but pretty easy to get them out there. You can see them. I got the silicone white and the product red leather case.

They don't have that many colors for these, but of course, let's go ahead and check them out on the three phone colors for the set hat came out, and you'll see some glaring here. Whoops, yes, you'll see somewhere in here, so I apologize for those glares and stuff, but I'll try to move them as quickly as I can so that you guys can see it. Let's go ahead and put the black one here inside this white silicone case and top goes in first then, the bottom snaps kind of in place there you go, and you can see that there it's pretty good I, like the contrast between the black and the white. Only problem with this white model is that it is going to get dirty quite easily. So you, unless you're a spotless person.

This is gonna, get quite messy and if you print it gene packing stuff, it can stain easily I only got it because. It looked kind of cool I thought it would contrast nicely with these other colors, but I would definitely go with like the gray one or something like that. If you are going to get this, it is also worth noting these are super expensive cases compared to also the price of the phone and what you can find on Amazon or if you have cases lying around from the seven or the 8. Those are gonna work, just fine, but just to show them to you guys. Let's go ahead and just stick to the silicone case right now, so we can see that here and there we go.

You can see that there here is the red phone. You can see how it Peaks out. This particularly was mostly the color that I wanted to show with the red because. It contrasts very nicely, of course, the black one would too, because you'd continue that black and red theme here, but the white also kind of works nicely too. Hmm.

You can see that it's open down here bottom, so that makes it easy for third-party cables to go in, but not great. If you drop your phone potentially you can scratch it there. So that's not great! You aren't gonna, have any issues. If you put on a table, there's enough width there to prevent any scratching on the lens, and here the ultimate clean combo, the will just kind of screw this up anyway, regardless I know how to put it on, but I still screw it up. This is definitely not case.

You want to remove and put on a lot of times, because these corners tend to break, and I know that, because I've had them in the past here you can see it. White on white spotless I mean if I had gotten those white phone I definitely keep this wet case just because. It looks so clean, and I'll try to keep it as clean as possible. You kind of wash these and clean these with a little sock, cloth and water. So that's worth noting you can see that there the button is covered but makes it very easy to click, and so is the volume buttons right here.

Ringer switch is very easy to access as well, no need to dig your nail and too deep. You can see the camera right there on the back and, of course, Apple logo in the center. The same way it is designed on the phone. Let's remove this now, hopefully kind of gives you just an idea. You know many would say this.

Video is pointless, but I mean. Isn't everything isn't everything if you, if you really set your mind to it, you could you could say everything is pointless. There you go here is the black one with the red leather case looks very good. You can see that the buttons right here, they're, metal and painted red as well. They feel nice and nice and click definitely more click than these.

These are a little more mushy on the silicone case on this right here. They're, nice and click, and on the ringer switch still easy to access a little deeper I would say than the other one, but still no issue no need to dig your nail. You can still use kind of your skin through it like that. You can see the camera right there and the Apple logo again. The bottom is exposed, so same thing as the other one might cause an accident there, but in most cases the odds that it falls on that part of the phone very unlikely.

Both these cases will protect it from a solid drop. You know not going to be the super most protective cases, but it will protect here. We have the red on red, looks very good. You just want to commit to the red. Color looks very good just so you can see it really.

This is not much for me to talk about just more for you to show you guys sometimes saying nothing is the most important thing. You know: let's go ahead and put the white one there we go. That looks pretty dang good. All these phones are really going to match them with other colors, just because they're very neutral colors, at least the black and the white, the red one, maybe not as easy, but it still works with a lot of colors too, but yeah there. You go.

That's all the phones with these cases right here just so you can get an idea of have a look, and just so you can get a closer look at these three colors here and that the case is there you go, so you can see that I don't know. I would definitely go with that silver. But let me know what color you guys are choosing wide, because Apple didn't give us many choices. I think the SE would have been a nice choice to kind of go all out with colors and make this like iPod like kind of commercials or something, but they're kind of keeping it a little serious. Given that we got the special edition now, maybe we'll get something else at some point: a different color, maybe a blue or something around the time of the iPhone 12, who knows that'd, be kind of cool but yeah guys, that's pretty much it for this video.
