Hey guys it's me Ola, and it's still current in outside, so I still have to stay inside, and I still didn't get a haircut, but I have a very special topic for you and me. Think a lot of you guys will be very happy me talking about this topic, and it's a Blackberry, especially the future of blackberry phones and if their possibly can be a blackberry ki3 in the future, so yeah here we go so, as many of you know, I don't use Blackberry phones, as my daily driver anymore, currently I'm, using an iPhone 11. That's just because it kind of helps me get the stuff. I need to do do quicker, especially with media and media sharing, but I still love the concept of blackberry and I, and my love of blackberry still hasn't changed. Actually what made this channel so popular with twenty-five six thousand subscribers right now is library actually because I just shared my blackberry passion with a blackberry classic, and it went from there on, so I still have that passion in my heart and I still love the brand. But a lot of things happened and a lot of things aren't that good, if we think about by brief phones in general.
So if we just step back for some years and month, all of you know that Blackberry always had that problem of marketing their phones, marketing their brand and in general advertisements. So did that change? No, it didn't really. They try with the BlackBerry key to their Android phones, but it didn't really pay out also, some years back, Blackberry phones, not the brand actually, but Blackberry phones was actually acquired by TCL as a phone brand from China, and they bought like free mobile, which is their phone brand, and they continued to produce Blackberry phones, first, their own phones under the BlackBerry brand, and then they created their own phones with keyboards and the blackberry keyboard itself was the black freaky. One was the first device and then the key to follow, which actually is a very, very beautiful phone. Still I love the looks of it.
I love how it feels in the hands- and it's very, very beautiful, actually to look at and with TCL acquiring Lycra mobile. They had to give users a certain security that they save, still safe with using Blackberry phones, because they free phones generally have the reputation of being very safe with your data and stuff, so they promised regular security patches, regular updates, like monthly security patches, but there were some problems with that: I just search for that on Google as well and I research. All of this stuff, they weren't really able to provide those security patches and people are wondering where they were, and especially in the BlackBerry forums. There was a lot of discussion about it and people weren't really happy. So that's not pretty nice did you think about it.
People were waiting for the security patches, and they didn't really come to them and there's more bad news for blackberry mobile, because TCL is cutting jobs that have to do with the bland blackberry mobile. So it all seems that TCO is kind of giving up on blackberry, mobile and blackberry actually has given up on them some years back because they're just a software brand now, and they don't really produce phones anymore, as I said and TCL is just license like very mobile, but it kind of seems they're giving up on them, so that doesn't really sound good for a black freak III in general right, because, if the key to didn't do well, if the key one didn't do well, why would TCL actually continue to produce phones? Yes, we've tried our best with Chard best to tell the people out there that Blackberry phones aren't that bad, and they're actually quite good, but it didn't really pay out, and that is really really really sad. Actually, because it's such an iconic brand and their phones are so iconic. They revolutionized phones back in the day they were kind of the first smartphones, but they've just got overtaken by Apple and their iPhone. Some more bad news for blackberry phones in general are the blackberry III.
This successor to the blackberry fichu that I have here is that the general marketing I think that this is position from TCL said that they don't think that they would introduce 5g to a break free phone, because it's more like a productivity device and not media consumption device and I really don't understand this sentence and I don't understand his statement because if it just was a productivity device and not a media consumption device, why would they have 4G network and stuff? It doesn't make sense. The statement is kind of like they'd, given up on the BlackBerry phones in general, and I really read out that we will see a blackberry phone in the future or the near future, or even the future that is kind of far away, but I would be really interested. In your opinion, let me know in the comment section below: do you think there's going to be a blackberry ki3 in the future? Do you think that TCL will still produce blackberry mobile phones? Could you actually imagine blackberry giving the license of microphones to another producer? Let me know in the comment section below, and I'm interested in another thing: what do you think about this angle, as I said as I just moved into this apartment, and I'm still searching for some setups for my camera, but I actually client kind of liked it? So let me know in the comment section as well: yes, let us in it for this video I hope you found it interesting, I, obviously I hope the best for blackberry and that they kind of get back for on track with their phones, and we can still continue using library phones but, as I said, it's a dark future for the phones made by blackberry mobile. Sadly, if you liked this video make sure you give the video a like, if you didn't consider giving it dislike, I hope you did, though, leave a comment in the comment section below.
