$30 Smartphone Unboxing and Overview (TCL LX) By TechnoMemeYT

Hey, what's up guys I'm Liam and, as you can see, I got a tripod. That is why I have both of my hands here. Yay, I used to use this hand to hold the camera, but now I don't have to because I have not one but two tripods, so that is very awesome. Anyways today, I'm going to be unboxing the TCL LX with my feet, because for some reason you guys want me to do that. Nah I'm, kidding I'm, not gonna. Do that? Okay! Listen! A few of you guys have actually wanted me to do unboxing stuff with my feet and here's the reason why and a lot of my older videos, I used to show my feet not on purpose but on accident, and now you guys make fun of me for that, and it's not funny.

Okay shut up anyways, as I mentioned before this is the TCL LX, and today I'm going to be unboxing this thing and giving a brief overview of the phone so yeah without further ado. Let's get started now: if you aren't familiar with TCL usually makes I, don't know if they're mid-range or high-end TVs, they may be both, and it may even be a lower range I guess you can call them they make. TVs is what I'm trying to say and yeah. They never really made phones until this one at least that I know of I have never heard of them. Making phones, except for this one I may be wrong.

One of you, hardcore TCL fans, is going to like blow me up in the comments section. Please don't do that, but I'm, not an expert on TCL, so just saying all I know is that this is the only phone I've heard of that they've made, and it cost around $30, 30 or 40, depending on where you are I, believe this phone is like a few months old I, don't know how old, but I finally got it, and I'm going to check it out today, but anyways, here's the device itself and oh okay. It already has the back cover installed and every wonder. If this has a removable battery, it may not I, don't know I'll have to get to that later, but I'm going to take that off and here I'll, let you listen to this hold on. Yes, oh it's already.

Turning on I didn't mean to do that anyways. It looks really, really nice in the back. I, don't know it's cool as a neat little design. It doesn't look like a super cheap phone, which is good, oh yeah. Also, this! Yes, by the way, if the camera doesn't seem stable right now, I got something coming up in a future.

Video that'll solve all of that, and I'm super excited to check it out. And if you checked out my post that I made oh shut up anyways. Oh okay, so the back cover does not come off. There is now back cover. I can tell because the SIM trays right here, anyways, let's put this to the side and let's see what else is in the box. So we have manual goodbye here. We have another manual goodbye here.

We have the charger brick as well as the charging cord, not good quality, but I mean hey. It's a cheap phone use, the brick by the way, I believe this phone is made by Alcatel, even though it's branded under TCL I still think it's made by Alcatel, if I'm not mistaken, and also according to this yeah. So a few things about this phone. This phone comes on Android, 8.1 Oreo. It has a 5.3-inch touch screen, it has 16 gigs of internal memory, and it can support micros cards up to 32 gigabytes on the rear. We have an 8 megapixel camera with flash, which is good and on the front we have a 5 megapixel camera.

As you can see, it takes microUSB and yes, it does have a headphone jack. A $30 phone has a headphone jack yeah anyways. Let's take a look at the phone. Let's set it up real, quick you and there we go so for some reason. It still has an app drawer icon, except I, can just swipe up, so I'm going to have to figure out a way to remove that because I do not want that uh-huh, anyways uh, it looks fairly stalk.

I can't really tell right now it looks like it has curved edges, but believe me when I say: that's not true, it does not have that. What it really is a squared off edge, but it has a kind of blackened curve to it. I don't know the edges are blacked off, so it's really not curved at all, even though it makes it seem like it does. I'm going to turn on the brightness. Oh my god that noise is really, really annoying good god.

Thank you. It's gone well yeah. It looks fairly stock. I, don't know why that app drawer icon is there I want to remove that? Oh, yeah I can remove that cool. Oh, yeah anyways overall.

This thing that looks pretty darn nice I want to test it in a later video, but right now I can't since this is just an unboxing and just a kind of overview of the phone, but I do plan on testing this phone more in the future, so stay tuned for that, but yeah overall it looks like a pretty decent device. Although the screen is not laminated to the LCD, so it creates kind of this really serious mirror effect and it's really annoying, but I mean I, can't really complain. It's a $30, smartphone and even at $40, which was the original price. It's still pretty good, so yeah this is gonna, be a fun phone to mess around with so stay tuned. I have some more videos coming up and yeah I just cannot wait, I think you're good! You guys are going to like what I got, and it's going to be fun, trying to get that thing working, but yeah hope you guys enjoyed this video.
